• iCloud ask password for an account that I deleted!

  Help!  A few months ago, I changed my Apple ID because I got a new email address, and I introduced myself to have been deleted the old account successfully.  Now, I find that on my iPad, I can not make any change - add/remove applications, not even to RESTORE settings, without entering the password for the OLD account - that does not exist!  I knew the password when the account exists, but there is no need to type because the account has been deleted - by me.  I went to the web page of Apple ID and entered my old Apple code and confirmed that she is even - so, how can I possibly get a password for it.  I thought that I restore the unit to the factory setting and start from scratch - but EVEN THAT requires that I get the password for the old account.  It's crazy.  Any help, please?
