10 PSE closes when you try to backup media

I'm running a Windows 7 (64 bit) Sony Vaio VPCCW2S1E.

All windows and PES 10 updates are up to date. Default settings apply

Have also installed and reinstalled.

What's happening:

1. I opened PSE10 Organizer and reminder to backup then appears

2 save the catalog - Yes via HD or DVD option

3. get a ' items 10 organizing has stopped working windows checks for a solution to the problem

4. then ' Elements 10 organizing has stopped working - a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

So far, I have a solution to Windows or found that Adobe.

I seem to be able to import images and change as usual.

Can someone give me a solution. I copied 'my images' on a reader network, but really need to be able to save some PSE10.

Kind regards

Neil

Hi, I started from the 'Welcome' screen, but was the cause of the problem, after several hours online chat with Adobe PSE support Alexander. a guy at the top of the page.

The problem was caused by my Freecom Toughdrive 1 TB USB harddrive. Once disconnected from the back upward process goes well.

My another 320 Freecom toughdrive is taking the back upward. We believe that the software password provided with the 1 TB drive can be the culprit, but until I have test this theory, I'll use my other records. I also discovered that adobe PSE shouldn't be saved on a network drive.

hope it helps someone else too

    1. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?

2 have you installed third-party backup utility?

    3. what kind of backup do you run?

    4. you receive an error message with the error code?

    Follow the mentioned methods:

Method 1: Check if these two services are running:

    A. Volume Shadow Copy service

    B. backup Windows

Also to ensure that their dependency services are running. You can check this information from services.msc. Follow the steps below to check the services.

    (a) go to start and type services.msc in the search box.

    (b) search for both services.

    (c) make a right click on the service, one at a time.

    (d) select Properties.

    (e) go to start type.

    (f) select Auto

    Method 2:

Run the disk check to find and fix errors on the disc.

    (a) click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.

    (b) at the prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and press to enter.

Note: For security, try to manually back up data before a disk check. Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost

    Method 3:

    Step 1:

You can also temporarily disable the security software and check if the problem persists. Be sure to enable this security software on the computer after checking.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

If disabling the security software solves the problem, then contact the manufacturer of the specific security software to fix the problem.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Step 2:

Also try to set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check to see if the same problem happens.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

  • 1290 error when you try to install Media Center extender for X 360 in Win7 Pro x 64

OK, here's one for someone who knows Win7 Kernel internals.

I am trying to connect my XBox 360 to my PC MC with Windows 7 Pro x 64. When I type the code 8 digits of the Xbox in Media Center, I get an error "Setup." Check the system error log, I found that it was a failure of the Media Extender service to start. Stop of is an error 1290, that says "service start failed because one or more services in the same process have a service SID inconsistent type parameter.» SID type has something to do with the core permissions or somesuch. WAY out of my League.
The only thing that I could find online is that this error occurs sometimes in what concerns the time Service Windows, and that a registry edit to fix it. I tried a similar "fix" on this service registry entry, but it had no effect on this error, so I changed the return register.
Someone has an idea of what I might try next? I did all the standard things that are recommended for problems of Media Extender, including uninstalling and reinstalling all components of media. Re-installation of Windows is NOT an option at this stage, this computer is used by all my children, and there would be a mutiny if he became unavailable for a long period of time (especially for as "lame" reason like this). I'd really listen to my media to my XBox. I hope that someone with some knowledge of the works of this service lies this question one day.

  • CD burner is busy when you try to write media.

What should I do if my cd burner means he's busy.

I just finished burning a CD and wanted to burn another copy of the same cd and now the pop up says my cd burner is busy. How can I solve this problem

    Hello

    ·         What software do you use to burn the CD?

If you use Windows Explorer, follow these steps:

    1. you will need to "Temporary files are waiting to be written to disk" in the Explorer.

To clear pending files, select the files/folders in the 'Files to add to the CD/DVD' box and press DELETE. However, if you want to delete all files, click the CD/DVD drive and select 'Clear the staging area' from the context menu.

You can manually delete the files that are stored in the following location:

    %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning folder

    2. If any third-party CD burning software is installed on your computer, uninstall it and check for the issue.

  • 11.4 Documaker closes when you open the workspace

    Hello

11.4 Documaker studio immediately closes when you try to open a workspace. It worked fine until a week back. but then he began to behave like that. I tried to go through the INI settings if anything might have changed, but all right. And when I'm loging to the server, it is throwing an error message stating that DCVS.exe closed due to an error. I have attached the screenshot of event viewer. Kindly let me know any solution for that.

    Thank you

    Prasad

Well, I've just exhausted things I can say. There must be something that has changed the environment that leads to this problem if your recent edits did not actually includes changes in the Documaker dll.  Maybe check online to determine if you have the last patch of the product level.

If you have the time would be to install on another computer that does not have the latest updates and see if it works. Then re-apply updates one at a time to see if/when it stops working.

Even do it well, I'm not sure you could get something patched to 11.4 since there are several other versions of the product that took place since then - 11.5, 12.0, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3 and 12.4 is up-to-date. You might be better to download a newer version and see if you have a problem at the opening of the workspace with this.

Contact the support may be the only real option at this stage.
