10 XPS for VGA projector

Has anyone successfully found a way to connect the Tablet 10 XPS to a VGA projector/monitor?

It seems the most likely option would be a mini-hdmi to vga converter, but I would like it confirmed that a person has obtained that it works before you buy anything.

Thank you very much for your help!

Hello

Welcome to the community

Workaround will be mini-HDMI to VGA cable should be used to share the view of the table to any view compatible vga or a projector.

  • Recommended solution for Thinkpad Tablet and VGA projectors?

I ordered a Thinkpad Tablet hoping to use it for a teaching tool, but I face a common problem: most classrooms (and indeed, most conference rooms for business) are projectors VGA.

I know there are a variety of converters HDMI / VGA (using Active electronic components, of course), but I was wondering if Lenovo recommends a solution or if anyone has first-hand experience (perhaps with the Ideapad tablet, or perhaps with a review of the Thinkpad Tablet model) connect to a VGA projector.

An extra (a little more specific question), it's the mini-HDMI output provides power to work something like the HP-HDMI-VGA connector. If not, are there drivers to support a USB output device / VGA (which are available for Windows, but uncommon on Android).

Thanks in advance for comments or suggestions!

The HP adapter works without external power supply with a warning: the output resolution is the native resolution of the Tablet, which seems to cause distortions on 4:3 monitors and slight overscan issues at least a part is watching 16:9. For my purposes (conferences mathy things), it seems it will work fine, although I will take a piece of chalk tomorrow just in case.

  • Satellite of U920T connecting to VGA projector

Hello, I need to be able to connect my U920T to VGA projector for presentations. I bought a HDMI VGA adapter that works very well for the video but not the audio. Is there a setting I can change to force to laptop to use for the internal speakers rather than via the HDMI?

    > I bought a VGA adapter which works fine for the video but not the audio HDMI /.

VGA port/cable does not have audio. You can only send video signals.
To get the audio signal, you must connect the laptop to the projector in addition using an audio cable.
Maybe you can connect the plug for headphones of portable s with audio projectors IN the port (if available)

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  • Connectivity: Sony Vaio Win 8/64 OS HDMI port to the Panasonic PT - LBI VGA projector

    Hai,

I have Sony Vaio Win 8/64 bit OS laptop with an HDMI port. I bought a HDMI cable / VGA and tried to connect it to my Panasonic PT_LB1 projector which has only VGA slots. When I'm logged in, I don't see my laptop screen on my projector. What could be the problem? Is this a compatibility with windows 8 or the resolution of my projector or what? Do I need to install any special drivers or software written for projector PT - LB1. Can not know. Kindly help me to a solution to this.

    Hi Prakash,

I think that this problem can occur because of a bad connection between the monitors and the projector. I suggest you to use this section of online help and check if it helps.

    Hello

Sure enough. I even downloaded and extract the Windows 7 drivers to see if there is evidence of support for XP, but it was not.

You can always try to install the Windows 7 drivers to see what is happening. But I expect that the installation routine will check for a valid operating system.

  • driver for VGA video controller adaptable

    Hi all

I have configured my computer Inspiron 518 to do a dual boot: Windows XP and Windows 7 originally, it came with Windows Vista , and that's what the machine is registered with.  My problem is I'm trying to update the driver for my video controller (VGA adaptable) for Windows XP but support Dell recommends only drivers for Vista.  How to find and download the drivers appropriate for the OS?  Would appreciate any comments on this problem.
    Thank you.

If Dell does not have XP drivers, your best bet/bet is to visit the site of the manufacturer of the chipset for a generic driver.

Check in Windows 7 for the manufacturer and model/chipset in the Device Manager and go to the site looking for XP drivers.

  • Inspiron 580 or XPS for 24/7 long hours machine running?

    Hi all

I need a machine that is peaceful and sustainable runs for hours without stopping.

Inspiron 580 is cheap but is it suitable? Should I get an XPS rather (Phenom or i5?)?

    Thank you!

Definitely get an 8300, XPS with Core i5.  If you plan to run this computer for a period of lets say for days or weeks, maybe even consider getting a Dell Optiplex or precision Business Office, since they are designed to handle the long hours of continuous operation.

Honestly, it looks that your system needs a new reinstall of Windows 7. It should reinstall applications such as Microsoft Office and drivers for devices such as your scanner, printer. If you wish not to do this, follow these steps:

Check your hard drive for errors:

    Click Start

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    then

    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow
This will check for any breach of integrity

    Restart your system

Also to perform a clean boot and see if things improve:

You should also check to see if you have installed any rogue programs:

Click Start, type: programs and features

    Press enter

See the list and uninstall programs, you are sure that you may not be installed.

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click on the link 'change product key '.

Enter the product key located on the COA sticker attached to the bottom of your laptop or in the battery compartment. Click next to activate via the Internet.

  • Troubleshoot the switch 12 with a projector or VGA monitor Acer

I connected my Acer Aspire switch 12 to a VGA monitor via a HDMI VGA adapter microphone. The switch 12 sees the second monitor, but seems unable to get a signal to start it. In this respect also disables my wireless and sometimes the mouse as well. I tried the VGA monitor with my MacBook and it works perfectly.

For me, it's a serious problem, I bought the switch to travel and give presentations in corporate meeting rooms, of which many are still equipped with legacy VGA projectors.

As a low-power machine, is inherently impossible to connect to a monitor/projector VGA switch 12, or is the problem somewhere else?

If I had to guess, I would say that the problem lies in the switching on of the conversion your HDMI cable VGA chip. I do not know the specs on the budget for food for the HDMI port, but it is probably marginal for the conduct of the conversion.
