When I go online, I receive a "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page", I did everything that Says "launch HP network Check." It is said the samething when I try again. Could you help me.

I got "McAfee". I just trough that in.

I read your post on how your computer displays an error message when you start Internet Explorer, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

To correct this problem with the browser, I advise you to follow the steps described in this document on the resolution of problems in Internet Explorer (Windows 8). This should help with the connection to Internet Explorer. I also have to know if you are able to connect to Google Chrome or Firefox; and if your network with an Ethernet cable or if it is wireless.

If I understand your description that you have internet does not work on your PC, but it does on the PC of your wife. Even if you use an Ethernet cable and not a Wi - Fi connection, the following will help you with internet connectivity:

A second option is to try the following steps:
Network power cycle:
1. turn off your laptop.
2. unplug the power to your router.
3. disconnect the power to your modem.
4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
2. expand the network adapters.
3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
4. click on the power management tab.
5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
6. click on OK.
7 test cycle.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:
1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
3. in the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without the quotes and press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

It can also help to reset the winsock catalog:
1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
3. in the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes, and then press ENTER.

Reinstall the NIC drivers:
1. download the drivers from here , but do not run them again.
2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.

4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
6. restart your PC and test.

Test an Ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

I always have to specify to open with Internet Explorer or other programs

Original title: A link can not remember which program to start

I have a machine with Vista and and when I get an email with a link to the internet - a PDF file, a site, or something else, I can't just click on the link - a dialog box appears and I have to specify witch program to start with - I don't then tap Internet Explorer and check the "Allways" and click on OK - but next time I have to once again!

I tried right click and use 'Open with' and still tick "Allways" - but same result!

How can I make the program witch visit remember to use in the future?

It's a computer for my aunt and I distance control - me, he looked like initially to Vista, but need XP then.

Time not appearing does not, in MapViewer with Internet Explore (Reposted)
(I posted this question once before, but I think he had a few problems caused by the div tag in the HTML code I included.) The div 'map' did not appear in the sent message and some other links on the page did not work, perhaps because of my rogue "div". I used markup codes in the hope that these problems don't exist this time. I apologize.)

I use MapViewer 10133p 5 and having troubles placing times in Internet Explorer (IE code that seems to work in Firefox very well fail in Internet Explorer). I reduced my HTML to which, in my view, are the essential and pasted its contents below.

In the Firefox browser, anywhere, anytime, I click on the card that I see an alert indicating the coordinates where I clicked, then a FAITH (with a picture on it) is placed on the card. Finally, I see another alert letting me know that the FAITH was placed. In IE7, I see alerts, but I never see FAITH. Finally, from what I can tell, the Server WebLogic which is at the service of the MapViewer app receives a request, whenever I have this in Firefox, but sees not a request come through when I do it in Internet Explorer.

IE gives me no indication that something is wrong, and since the final warning (see below) goes off, I have to assume that the execution of the script is not a failure. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I received notice that my browser (IE) is obsolete and will be soon be unsupported.
