127.0.0.1 works, but no data of ipconfig

After a new installation of xp pro, our tcp/ip seams broken. I can ping 127.0.0.1 or localhost, but nothing else.  When I enter ipconfig/all at the command line all I get is "windows ip configuration" and no given whatsoever, even not a lot of 0s.

I rebooted nettcpip.inf from a disk of xp, the drive of computers 'c' of the problem and a copy of the USB to a work computer. INF.  Retirement after each test.  I tried the automated "fix - it" 50199.  I ran "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" from the command prompt as well and also tried calling it "reset.log' as well or it c:\resetlog.txt but no newspaper or text file is created.

Before I installed xp pro the Fund had family on xp and worked very well (just need to have pro to our working group).

This is a new installation, there is no antivirus etc.  the firewall is disabled.  I tried disabling the service "ipsec" in the services menu. There is no 'ip helper' or something to that effect which mentions an another help page.

the network adapter is part of the motherboard.

When the 1394 connection right click then click on fix I get the error "failed to query tcp/ip connection parameters. cannot continue. "

any help is much appreciated.

Just to add a little for the good advice above.

1394 is not a regular network connection this is the Firewire Connector.

That is, you don't have a conventional installation of network card.

As suggested above, get the drivers provided by the original vendor, make sure that the LAN adapter is enabled in the BIOS of the motherboard and install the drivers.

Check installation Ghost too in the case of device manager needs a cleaning.

    Have you created a page template for your stamp? Did name the template of the page correctly? It's the right format:

    #InternalStampName = display name of stamp

  • Initial synchronization via Bluetooth works, but the next day, the data to be transferred, but no data is shared

    I was able to set up my T3 to sync via bluetooth to 4.1.4e on my Vista 64. T3 is not compatible with 6.2. However, once the initial synchronization works perfectly, I can't sync again, after closing down, without reinstalling the prgram with "fix" option and do an another initial synchronization. If I don't do this the hot sync window opens and the arrows become but no data is actually transferred. I also can't "uncheck" the USB option in the hot Sync Manager, leaving only the option of "local"except after the initial sync." The next day it I cannot remove the USB sync option.

    Any thoughts?

    I was able to find a solution in another post. You must run Palm 4.1.4e as a modifiable and only allow sync to open when the program is opened.

    Restart the MacBook Pro

    Click Open Time Machine Preferences

    Click select drive or Add or remove disks

    Choose the Time Capsule drive (probably named 'Data') by highlighting

    Wait a while to see if a backup is performed

    I have had only one device where I used the Firefox Sync. I have installed Windows 8 version preview (new installation) and entered the sync key that I recorded using the previous installation of my Firefox(v 14.0).
    Then I installed Firefox on my installation of Windows 8 with an older version of Firefox (v 13.0).
    I got a message saying it was your first sync, but I used it earlier too. Several times I have synced my laptop with data on the server after each new installation, and it worked. I had all my data every time but cela. Now, I tried twice by removing this device from my list of synchronization, but of no use. And I don't know that I have not reset the synchronization server data. And no one but me has access to my computer laptop and even the key of the synchronization.
    I have not any chance to get my data? Whether if by again installing v14.0 or something else. I'd really appreciate for any help.

    Unfortunately Sync is not planned to use as a backup feature. While in general, it works very well, data in the servers is not there permanently and sometimes it get deleted (servers are just not for storage transport).

    My recommendation, moving forward is to create a local backup or another device to have the copy on multiple devices.

  • Palm TX: Outlook via Microsoft Exchange synchronization, but no data is transferred

    Dear Group

    I'm not a beginner. I am very computer and hardware gadget and intuitive software. My PalmTX syncs, but there is no data transferred. Previously, Sync worked well on Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2013. However, I started having problems with the transfer of data after synchronization when I lowered the score of 2013 Office to Office 2010. I've demoted office 2013 because it was a big eater of resources on my computer. I stripped all the reminants of office 2013 (including the reminants registry) before you install Office 2010 to ensure that there is no possibility of confusion for the Palm TX. I tried freezing and reinstall several times. Note, every time that I run this process, I uninstalled the software/files Outlook and Palm/all software including any reminants of registry. When I reinstalled, I started with the Outlook2007 then the PalmDeskTopSetup6.2.2, then the PalmConduit2007. Also, I tried several new synchro and cleaned/disable-dusted cables connectors for synchronization on the Palm TX itself... with no success.

    I think the problem is that the conduit itself is not be trained. In Hotsync when I click Configure > change hotsync action > settings, I get an error message stating "Microsoft Outlook Conduit - an unknown error has occurred." Previously, this setting function would have text that would allow me to change how the conduit receives data (e.g. MS Exchange;) IMAP) I remember correctly - not 100% sure. If my suspicions are correct, one of the following values is corrupt: PalmDeskTopSetup6.2.2, PalmConduit2007 or MS Exchange. Given that I don't have a "fresh" copies of PalmDeskTopSetup6.2.2 and PalmConduit2007 because HP links no longer work, I ran a repair on my file of MS Exchange. It still has not fixed the problem. Note that whenever I have to uninstall/reinstall Outlook, I delete the MS Exchange and files all connected, as it recreates it from scratch when Outlook is reinstalled again. To be clear, does not preclude MS Exchange as the culprit because Microsoft adds a fix or security to every time something else change always 'breaks' :-).  I'm not sure what to do next. If anyone has had this problem or have any suggestions on what I could do to fix this? I really really need my at least my calendar of transferred to my Palm TX. Help, please. Thank you.

    I solved my problem. I wanted to share with you the solution for those of you who maybe had a similar problem AND you have tried all the suggestions that have been posted since the Palm OS/WinMo Forum without success. My problem is that something that she prevented the pipeline connecting my Palm Outlook of training courses. Uninstall and reinstall the Palm components (Installation and relevant lines for your outllook files). Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful...
    3. Delete your current outlook profile and create a new profile - microsoft has detailed instructions on how to do this with your version of Microsoft outlook. Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful...
    4. Completely uninstall outlook, which will include the deletion of the relevant registry entries and system files. I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT attempt to do it "manually" yourself unless you experience such changes on your computer. Incorrect changes to your registry files or computer system will completely shut down your computer and ultimately to lose all your data because of the methods that will be needed to fix your mistake. The good news for those of you who have no expertise in this area is that Microsoft has made a DIFFICULTY IT PATCH REMOVAL TOOL that will automatically run a complete unstall of outlook or office.  -microsoft has detailed instructions on how to do this with your version of Microsoft outlook. Uninstall and reinstall the Palm components (Installation and relevant lines for your outllook files). Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful...
    5. To ensure that your data are fully INDEXED. In your control panel, there must be a parameter called OPTIONS of INDEXING. If Indexing is not complete, follow instructions from Microsoft for your version of Windows to allow for the completion of indexing. Note that this will take time. You can do this night. Uninstall and reinstall the Palm components (Installation and relevant lines for your outllook files). Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful... Uninstall the components of Palm. Return to the OPTIONS of INDEXING and completely Strip and rebuild your index from scratch by pressing the Refresh button in your version of Windows. Note that this will take time, again you can do this night or weekend depending on how much stuff you have on your computer. When finished, reinstall the components of Palm, synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm. If this is not successful...
    6. Finally, what worked for me was creating a new WINDOWS PROFILE. I discovered thanks to make another system and software checks that I did not mention here that my WINDOWS PROFILE was damaged and it was what was causing the failure of training leads between my outlook and palm. How do you create a new windows profile will be different depending on your Version of the Windows operating system.  -microsoft has detailed instructions on how to do this with your version of Windows. Uninstall and then reinstall outlook. Uninstall and reinstall the Palm components (Installation and relevant lines for your outllook files). Synchronize your Palm/and check for content transfer (calendar, tasks, etc.) for your Palm.

    It's a delicate issue... like some patches cannot stipulate pitchbend...

    If you have not already, try to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again. You won't lose any data, but it can cure a few glitches.

  • DVD works but will not play a CD - Vista

    I tried to remove the filters from the registry.  I have download all the drivers from Dell.  It used to work, but I haven't used in a while.  I put a DVD in the drive and it loads immediately.  For a while when I clicked on the drive, he asked for a CD.  However in the last couple, the icon changes as he sees a Cd in the drive but cannot read.  It shows 0 files it contains.  When I put a CD I had burned some time ago, it shows how much free space on it, but does not display the files it contains.  I tried music, games, and files.  Any ideas short of wiping the entire computer and start over?

    DVD player & recorder and CD player & burner are really 4 separate devices in one case is not
    unusual for a work and not the other.

    Please do all the below in the order listed as it is often the complete process that solves the problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
    Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
    This will refresh the default driver stack.

    Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
    slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
    contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    If it works with WiFi but no mobile data while other applications working on mobile data, looks like he's stuck in your carrier's network.

    What you can try is to remove the proxy of your internet settings and see if that helps under settings-> Mobile-> mobile networks-> access point names. If this does not help, I recommend that you contact your operator for assistance.
