14 - q049: connecting the Chromebook projector

I would use my Chromebook presentations.  I have an Epson projector, and when I hang them together via HDMI, I get my background pic Chrome planned, but none of my data, no matter what I actually do appear on my Chromebook.

Is there a key combination or a button I have to warm to send my actual data to the projector?  I can't find mention in any of the manuals.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated!

  • How to connect the HP Touchsmart 600 to a projector

I have this problem, I can not connect my touchsmart600 to Sony projector. I have the s-video cable, but when I connect to a projector, nothing happens. I bought HDMI VGA adapter, I connect to my computer with projector and nothing shows. Please, someone help me.

When you request support, please provide the HP model name and/or product the full number of the computer in question. In addition, please provide the full model of the Sony projector number. Without this information, we can not provide you accurate assistance.

Most of the HP TouchSmart computers isn't any video output (VGA, DVI - D or HDMI). Some HP TouchSmart computers have a HDMI input to connect a DVD/Blu-Ray player or game console. Often the only way to connect an external display to a TouchSmart computer is using an adapter USB-to-video as the EVGA UV plus + UV39 or UV19.

    Hello

Please continue with the following steps to support...

Start the computer without the fixed projector.

    Connect the projector.

If the operating system asks you a driver, you will need to provide one.

Go to display settings and extend the desktop on the projector that should appear as the second monitor.

You can then determine that you want the main office, and you want the secondary image.

I hope that this information is beneficial.

  • Problem with the resolution when you connect to a projector

I regularly used my laptop connected to a projector via a cable VGA for PowerPoint and video clips view in Windows Media Player.   It is automatically detected and adjusted for different sizes of screen of the laptop screen (1366 x 768) and projector (1024 x 768) and projected with success.   Recently I connected the laptop to a second monitor - also 1024 x 768 - instead, and even once, it fits perfectly.

It suddenly stopped setting for the resolution of the projector; When I go to the resolution of the screen, the option to set the resolution of the second screen is grayed out.   No matter if I use extend or duplicate, he insists that the two screens are 1366 x 768.   This has happened with two projectors, all two used to work properly.   I also tried different VGA cables.  The end result is that the image of the projector is hurry to tray.

I can connect fine to the second monitor via the VGA port and sometimes with different resolutions for both screens.   I can also connect to a TV via an HDMI cable.   I can't try a HDMI cable for the spotlight as it is ceiling mounted, and the other is old and is not an HDMI connection.

I checked the drivers and they seem to be up to date.

My laptop is a Dell Latitude running Windows 7.   The graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics 3000.   I tried many suggestions already given on these forums without success.   The real puzzle is that it was working fine and nothing I can draw has changed except that I connected on the other monitor.

    1. press start.

    2. type device manager in the start search box.

    3. Select Device Manager in the search result.

4 uninstall everything that are grey also uninstall the drivers to display completely.
5 restart the computer and install the drivers to view the manufacturer's Web site.

Hope this information helps, just reply to the State of the question to get help.

    Hi Rizwan

Unfortunately, I do not have a restore point old enough until the problem occurred.   I have not found any that was relevant in hidden devices, but in normal Device Manager mode when I clicked on "monitor" it opened a "Generic PnP" entry even when there was no extra monitor or projector fixed.   When an additional monitor has been attached, there were two of these entries.   I disabled them both, and I found that I can now adjust the resolution of a second monitor to a different setting of the laptop screen.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Connecting the projector cuts out after 10 minutes

    Hello

I scoured internet help forums looking for answers, and nobody seems to have the same problem I encounter. Here goes:

    Details

    Laptop - Lenovo IdeaPad N585

OS - Windows 7 Home Premium

Projector - Samsung LCD TV series 5

    Connection - cable PC monitor

The thing Flash = times computer laptop and TV simultaneously Flash back and forth between a black screen and the desktop, making the connection/disconnection of the sound device with every Flash.

My laptop connects to a projector (TV), but only momentarily, then he "cut" and made of flash. It can last for 10 minutes or 2, coherence time is hard to follow and I can't understand the reason why he cut... It's never more than 10 minutes.

The order is that I connect issues. If I connect the cable to the two devices before (windows + P) connect to a projector, then it will automatically do the flash thing. But if I have (windows + P) connect to the projector (duplicate, expand does not matter) before connecting the cable, then it runs for 10 minutes. I tried different power configurations portable vs TV first and vice versa.

I updated my drivers (I think) through automatic updates of Windows... If it helps, I don't see TV as a device when it is connected.

    He works now :)

I went to a HDMI cable and it works fine (even easier in fact). Does not my monitor cable connection problems, but who cares at this point? Hope that if anyone is in need of an answer to the question even will be able to switch to HDMI as well.

    See you soon

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1414 connection LCD monitor & projector problem

I bought a HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1414 with Windows 8, for my church, which came standard with 2 DVI ports. I attach a LCD monitor to 1 Port and a projector to another. Start the computer and both screens remained blank. I disconnect me the projector, restart the computer and the monitor running normally. I then connect the projector in the other port and it works as expected. However, when I restart the poster blank rest until I have do as above. I also reset the BIOS to the default settings, and both screen and projector came fine. Yet once, when I restarted, same problem. I manually set the resolution for both devices. Problem remains - every time that I reboot, displays may not run until I disconnect the projector, reboot, and after successful reboot, reconnect the projector. Any suggestions?

Thank you for running these tests and getting back to me. I think that it is prudent to exclude at this stage of material. I have two options for you to try.

I would like you to reinstall the graphics driver.

Press the Windows key + Q to bring up the search

    Type 'unit'

    Click on Device Manager

    Expand graphics cards

    Double-click Intel

Click the driver tab and click the uninstall

    Restart the computer

Windows will automatically detect the missing driver and reinstall it on reboot. Once you are in the start screen of Windows, shutdown, connect two screens (a screen and a projector or two monitors, anyway) the computer turn on and I would like to know what the results are.

I would also try both screens set before to turn on/off mode safe. You may need to press and hold the ESC key lighting to get the option come up, instead of SHIFT F8 as set out in section. Take a look at this article to get the procedure start mode safe. Let me know what you find

  • Satellite of U920T connecting to VGA projector

Hello, I need to be able to connect my U920T to VGA projector for presentations. I bought a HDMI VGA adapter that works very well for the video but not the audio. Is there a setting I can change to force to laptop to use for the internal speakers rather than via the HDMI?

    > I bought a VGA adapter which works fine for the video but not the audio HDMI /.

VGA port/cable does not have audio. You can only send video signals.
To get the audio signal, you must connect the laptop to the projector in addition using an audio cable.
Maybe you can connect the plug for headphones of portable s with audio projectors IN the port (if available)

I'm unable to connect my Chromebook to my Officejet 4620.  I went through all stages of the implementation of the printer through Web Services and the creation of an email from the printer to use for ePrint; However, when I go to select the printer in the Chrome settings, the printer does not appear as a connection option.  What I am doing wrong?  The configuration procedure changed?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hello and welcome to the HP support community!

Can I assume that you have configured the printer wireless to router, it is online and not through a USB cable to a PC?

Visit the Chrome Web Store app and search for "HP Print".  Install it, and add your printer.

ePrint works very well through my ChromeBook, but I have to use the method "send the file as an attachment.

With the help of HP Print, I added my printer IP address and then the command 'Print' (or Ctrl-P) works perfectly.

(Is also always a good idea to set up your printer with a static IP address).
