2.7 k, 1080 p, 720 p to the same project

I have 2.7 k, 1080 p and 720 p video footage that I want in the same project. I know I can change my images, but I don't want to loose quality what is the best way to handle this? Is there a way to keep images of high quality, but also to add images to a lower resolution without losing quality?

Does this mean that I will lose the quality of the 2.7 k and 1080 p and the entire video will be right in 720?

Its either lose the full quality of

2.7 K and 1080 p on a timeline 720 or

2.7 K and 720 on a 1080 timeline: your choice

2.7 chronology is IMO not an option.

    Hello

I am new to Adobe Premiere and still learn the in and outs of the software.

I had shot some footage with my Go Pro in 1080 p/30 FPS and I have pictures recorded in 720 p/30 fps that I wanted to include in a project

My problem is that I noticed a decline in the quality when you export.

I had exported with the following parameters:

    H.264

    Vimeo HD 1080 p

    Go to maximum depth

Target the bitrate, flow Max: maxed out

    Maximum render quality

Would be - this due to the fact that I have a 720 p movie in my project? And that he compensate?

Is there a way to keep the project at the 1080 for 1080 images and keep the 720 720 in the same project?

More than 100% scaling will degrade the quality.

You can export at 1080, leaving a black frame around the 720 hardware, so it's not zoom.

The best solution is probably just export to 720 and adjust images 1080 down a bit.

  • 1080 and 4 k in the same timeline

    Hello

I just did the update days of first pro CC a 2014, 2015. 4

Anyone know comment can have the 1080 and 4 k in the same timeline

before it was automatically but there...

Thanks in advance for your help

I have not seen any change in behavior it. If you start to tell a sequence with a clip of 1080 and drop a clip k 4 on it, you should check if "Adapt to the size of the image" (checked) the edit/preferences dialog box, you probably prefer not controlled so that it uses "Set to framesize" by default.

Other than that, just drag & drop, should be fine. Now, from a sequence with a k 4 clip then drop a 1080 on that... either you will get a small clip in black box or if you scale upward, a LOT of pixelation. Not normally what we prefer.

  • Mixture of 1080 p and 4K on the same Timeline

If I have a timeline 1080 (16:9) and then slide a clip of 4K on this subject, the 4K clip appears to be almost twice the size as the clips in 1080.  I have to go to effects Control - Motion (or double click on the item in the program monitor) to obtain the bounding... which allows me to reduce the image to fit the 16:9 format correctly.  Conversely, if the timeline was initially installed for 4K clips and a clip of 1080 fell into the timeline, it seems about half size in the program monitor.

If my original video clip on the timeline is still 1080-16:9, is there a setting in Premiere Pro that allows to detect and properly size (to fit the 1080 - 16:9) clips of 4K or will, I need to reduce the size of each clip 4K manually.  I know that 4K is 4096 x 2160 and 1080 is 1920 X 1080 but can Premiere Pro who recognize and reduces the footprint of the clip in a timeline/sequence of 1080 previously defined 4K.

(Of course when ALL the clips on the timeline are 4K or ALL clips are 1080, the sizing problem does not exist.  The problem happens when I mix the two.

First Pro CC 2015.2 version, Windows 7 Professional

    One way to do it:

In your current project, select all of your source of 4K in the project Panel clips and once selected, go to the menu Clip > video Options > and select the frame.

Now they are all sized to the chronology of the HD.

If you want this behavior on future projects, go to Preferences > general and check "Default scale to frame size".

Another way is to leave the default scale to the size of the frame not controlled and when to place 4K clips on a timeline HD, control (on the right) click on the clip and choose the value size of the frame.

The difference is that with scale to the size of the image, material 4K watch scale 100% when filling out the HD picture, then with the value to the size of the image, the clip shows scale of 50% - which is much more useful, if you plan to enlarge or to reposition the image.

  • reduction of 1920 x 1080 to 720 x 480

We have just had an interview of 2 canera shoot and didn't know that our second camera was running in standard definition, 720 x 480.  Became aware of the issue when I dragged the files in Adobe Premiere Elements 10 for the first time and WAA wanted to change the project settings for. DV NTSC 720 x 480.  So well, I can live with the editing of the interview in the size of the image. The problem is that when I introduce images 1920 x 1080 in the second camera in my project of 720 x 480 setting, the frame gets leterboxed and therefore does not correspond to images of the stabdard camera, which is not Letterbox. Any advice on the best way to handle this situation. Ultimately, we want just the consistency between the two video outputs.

Thank you all for your time and your insight.

    adobenewbie123

    Thanks for the reply.

    As I wrote previously

If you have saved the NTSC Standard and use the NTSC DV Standard predefined project, then scaling of 1920 x 1080 in 720 x 480 look like what. If you try it, do it with default scale to the size of the image turned off so that you have more flexibility in the descaling operation.

As a concrete example. I'm doing a project with Premiere elements HD 16:9 project preset and exporting segments of the timeline of a video into a blog. This blog offers only a 4:3 Player. So, I decided to export my calendar segment 16:9 with a 4:3 export preset. The first segment was beautiful in the blog. But, when I did the same thing for another segment containing different effects, the effects were in all directions ranging from 16:9 timeline where they looked like great export of 4:3 where they screwed up.

I know what black stripes offer, and you get the whole image with the black border at the top and bottom.

What I was suggesting through scale, is to get rid of black borders at the expense of the part of content useless managers. At this point, I don't see another way, unless you can find a way to use the 1920 x 1080 as an image in image type in the 4:3 image.

Moreover, this scaling your way out of the situation is not new. We see mentioned for this sort of thing elsewhere online.

Please think. Please let me know if you need clarification on what the scale to get rid of black borders.

    Thank you.

I guess that's what I have to do? But how?

    I shot and edited a 1080 24 p project.

  • Camileo H30 Media Converter recognize fiels 1080 p 720 p

On the thing, I'm not understanding is why the camera can record 1080 p, but still the highest resolution of Media Converter to convert the files to is only 720 p?

It makes no sense at all. At the beginning and it off I'm disappointed that I can not just import directly from the camera into a video as Avid or Premiere Editor.
The video comes out of plain white. I have to use Media Converter, and then import them into the editing program which doubles just enough time for everything.

Explain the use of power shoot 1080 but not being is not able to keep it as 1080 p when you convert turned off the camera?

    Hello Vel_1,

as far as I know, the ArcSoft MediaConverter 3.0 comes with the Camileo H30.
I think that this kind of version of the software is limited to a maximum conversion up to 720 p.

  • project settings for an old video PE10 passed to 1080i 1080 p by ss14 upgrade how to fix?

    Hello

Today, I tried to resurrect a video that I have almost completed a year or two ago. Only a few pieces were left to do, but waiting for a single element of a 3rd party (a logo) meant that he got unfinished at that time. Initially, I used 10 elements and parameters of the project were 1080 p/25 fps.

Since then, I've updated my graphics card. Pe10 will be no longer work with this card (PE10 is too old to understand the map I think) so finally got upgrade to ss14 having had a bit of respite from the edition since the evolution of this card and PE10 has stopped working.

Project say 1080i settings (which I have never used - I shoot a SLR!) and it appears so there is no way to change this without redo any changes in a new project...!

I tried to do, but create a new project with fps 1080p25 settings, I noticed a 2nd number. Try to place the 2nd clip on 6s20frames in the project turned into 7s0frames. That is to say the timecode had begun to count to 20 fps not 25 frames per second!

I really don't understand what is causing ss14 causes these hassle with images/changes that worked wonderfully in PE10. But for the moment it seems unusable

    Can someone help me

    (a) change the project settings back to 1080 p/25 fps on the original project? (really the most important thing - although I suspect that the answers don't)

    (b) offers clues why a project which runs at 25 fps stupid plays * with time code and how to change it so that it displays the correct value of 25 fps?

Thanks in advance for any help

    Pictures of crete

Thanks for the reply and happy you have managed to create a scenario where the final result was acceptable.

Here is an assortment of information you put together impact the kind of thing you are trying to do.

    1. first installation items included 10 a dialogue so that the user could designate TV NTSC or PAL TV profile. After installation, configure your respectively have the default the Standard NTSC or PAL DV Standard DV project preset. Unless you have changed this setting in the new project dialog box, when you open a project, it would be your project setting if it was OK for your video. In some versions, the project could send a message to want to change it to you with an answer Yes or no to you.

    2. you can't change the preset project when it was established. If the project preset is incorrect for the imported video, you start a new project.

(but, in certain circumstances, there is a way to change the project first Elements 10 settings by editing the document in Notepad of the saved closed project - but that's another story).

    3. When you get to first items 11, 12/12.1, 13/13.1 and 14, other factors enter the picture. Programs are designed so that the the project preset is set automatically based on his analysis of the first file dragged to the timeline of this new project. If the project cannot analyze the video, the project does not give you the closest possible project settings. Instead it gives you, it by default which is HD1080i30 full of AVCHD NTSC or PAL AVCHD Full HD 1080i25. You don't see a new project dialog box, unless you decide to upgrade the predefined project manually via the file Menu/New/Project.

    4. and, to add to all of this, even if you're in a PAL area and despite your installation for the country and language settings, always have the default value of NTSC AVCHD Full HD 1080i30.

But, in your case, we are not talking about setting up a project, it is a project of opening a version earlier than the last.

Of immediate relevance for you now is transfer of project and its media to source from one computer to the other. When you import media into a project, all you get are copies of the originals who remain in their drive hard saving location. But copies of the project must go back to the original to the place where they were when they were first imported in the project. That's when the option to Menu file/archive/copy the project shines to give you a folder that contains the project file and all his possessions. This file can be transferred to a USB key for the folder on the computer 2. Another "Beware of '... If you store the source on an external drive support and move the hard disk from one computer to another, make sure that the drive letter of the external hard drive is the same on both computers.

    Please consider.

Best wishes with your Premiere Elements project.

  • Cannot export completed projects

I use the FCP for years and have not encountered this problem until recently.

I have just completed a project 50 minutes long and have attempted to export (share) for 1080 p Apple device. He goes through the motions of export and told me that sharing has been a success, but there is no output anywhere (I searched the entire computer). The same project, I exported successfully to 720 p Apple device, and it's hidden as usual in iTunes.

OK the 750 p is good, DVDs, but not enough good for my Media Player.

Any ideas as to why he is out to Apple 1080 p please?

The above setting must send a copy to iTunes > Home Movies and items shared in the contents of the package.

Note: After the closure of FCP X the shared file is automatically unloaded.

  • Workspace Photoshop CC too big

For some reason, my Photoshop working space is huge. All buttons are disproportionately, to the point where I can't see the bottom of the screen. I tried the General preferences, to research in the workspace, and everything I can find online. The only thing I found which works change the resolution on my laptop, but if I do this, it screws to the top other programs in CC. All other programs are normal size. Is that what I can do to fix the size of Photoshop without changing the resolution of my laptop?

Here are pictures of what it looks like. Photoshop is the top, InDesign is the basis for the comparison.

    ps.jpgid.png

Auto is the default setting for Adobe and the problem. For some reason Adobe any scales IU 200% on the screens that should not be reduced.  In this case Adobe is scaling a screen 1920 x 1080 2 do indeed display a display 960 x 540 ui. Requirement of Photoshop is 1024 x 768 Photoshop UI doesn't fit do not on a 960 x 540 screen.  They need to adjust the scale of the user interface of Photoshop's Auto preference to 100%.set put 1 x...

So if you have a Surface Pro 2 or 3 Adobe knows you have a screen high resolution they know also you do not have the number required 2014 x 1536 pixels to support 2xUI 3MP.  Surface 2 pro 3 pro 1920 x 1080 and Surface 2016 x 1440 do not have the required 3MP.  While the Surface pro 3 has more than 3MP then its proportions is 3:2 not 4:3 so it effectively a 1080 x 720 2 show the 720 is far from 768 required.

CC 2015 is worse still Adobe changed ScriptUI and made its own scaling dialog box and don't use Photoshop UI scale setting. Definition of 100% does not help some Script dialog boxes will not fit on the screen during the scaling and will not be usable.

  • Lense flare effect in items 12

    Hello!

We find the lens flare effect, like in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4JZQMAEj34 ? I have the version of the German element 12...

    Thank you!

    Mark

    Here's my view on this.

You gave has a 1080 p 60 and you used to generated a 1080p50 and 1080 p 30 version under the same conditions of export.

The duration of the file remained my flare of 3 minutes (180 seconds), off the coast of the duration. The bit rate of the file was the same variable rate of 32.0 Mbps (4 MB per second).

If we look even more narrow in the 3 master files I produced

    P60

Total number of frames = 10792

Duration in time = 3 minutes

Bitrate = 4 MB per second

    P50

Total number of frames = 9002

Duration in time = 3 minutes

Bitrate = 4 MB per second (identical to p60)

    P30

Total number of frames = 5396

Duration in time = 3 minutes

Bitrate = 4 MB per second (identical to p60)

If the file size is calculated as file = duration of the clip x Bitrate, the size of the file is the same in each case under the conditions cited because the length and the speed remained the same goes of p30 and p50 p60.

My calculations of the above are of a size of 180 seconds x 4 MB per second = 720 MB file.

The properties for the actual files reading was 690 MB.

Why image size does not affect the size of the file?

Please see the newsletter and let me know if you're OK with the information.

    Thank you.
