  Everyone crossed by the configuration process UCS Manager with a certificate issued by a Microsoft certification authority?  If yes I would appreciate some help.  I was able to create a request and have generated the certificate successfully, but I see no way to be able to get back the request and the certificate chain in the UCS Manager.

  First you must create a trust (on the Admin-> Key Management tab). In the new trust point, paste public cert in your root certification authority base64 format. If you have a subordinate certification authority that brings then add cert that CA too. If you have a whole tree of certification authorities, then you should create a point of trust with any of the string of the issueing CA to the root. Paste a cert after the other, in order, the string, all in the same point of trust. If they are not in the right order, or if you are missing the root, then the TP does not accept the cert.

  Once you have a trust, you can accept the certificate that you generated. In the Keyring, you used to generate the request, select the new Point of confidence and paste the new certificate in Base64 format into the field of the certificate.

  Once this is done, you can go to the Directorate of Communication-> the Communication Services and for HTTPS, select the new key ring. It might not take effect immediately, but after a few minutes your web site UCSM should begin to answer with the new certificate.

  Note: There is a bug in UCS currently send number CSCth62582. If your fabric interconnects fail, the SSL certificate will return to the default self-signed cert. You must go back in Communication services and set it to default, save it, and then assign the new ring of keys.

• The 5.5 SSL certificate installation device Orchestrator

  Need for additional documents and advice on installing the Orchestrator's SSL certificate.  My approach resulted in a failure to download error.  Method: keystore file downloaded using selection in Configuration Orchestrator interface.  Removed the embedded free signed certificate and key private using commands in the key tool.  Issues for a new original keystore certificate using the keytool command.  Treaty of applicantst on a windows certification authority.  Installed at root, intermediate, and new machine cert in original keystore, checked the chain and tried to install the key file using the GUI with a download error received.

  After loading MS Updates October 14, two completely different websites, applets gave me a message that "the digital signature was generated with a trusted certificate but has expired." The information of the certificate included "issuer CN = VeriSign Class 3 Code signing 2001-4. Java update made no difference but uninstall then reinstall Java seem to have solved the problem.   to get the file .pem working with SSL tool you must include the full certificate chain in this container...

  -Certificates in PEM container must be in x 509 (BASE64)... NOT in DER

  -When you open it in the text editor, they should start by: - BEGIN CERTIFICATE - ends: - END CERTIFICATE -

  -If you use CA subordinate to issue certificates within your domain, you must include the certificate in PEM file!

  -All certificates in. PEM file must be in reverse order so that when you open the file must first be Server vCenter, second Sub and last Root CA certificate

  You can create containers PEM with the copy command and maintain the exact order:

  copy/b rui.crt + SubCA64.cer + RootCA.cer chain.pem

  After that you will have created PEM file open and check certificates order, vCenter first, second Sub and root down.

  Avoid putting a few extra blank lines between the certificates, there should be no space before and after any certificate.

  Once you have chain.pem and the private key of the certificate vCenter (rui.crt), you can start with SSL tool.

  I have a Windows Vista Ultimate pack here (it looks like the entire commercial area, as far as I can tell), which was part of a computer package that I won in a contest a few years sponsored by a major game company.  Vista was already preinstalled on the computer (which was a custom platform pre-assembled).  The most curious is that on top of the Vista plastic box, there is a Microsoft CoA sticker for the most-ripped-off (it was in this state when I first received it).
  The question I have is, why would they rip off the sticker in advance, is this something to promo discounts for free versions?  Someone at the company ruin everything by trying to move the box sticker to PC?  Or another reason I can't think offhand.
  There is a normal set of disks of Vista and sticker product key of yellow-orange (which says "Proof of license") to the inside of the package, no CoA sticker on the machine itself, I think.  In any case, the reason for which I finally seeks in it is now, that I thought to sell that copy of Vista, because the motherboard is fried (and it will probably be reincarnated as a Win7 machine if I ever fix it and put it back in service), but the lack of an intact CoA looks like it could be a problem.

  Thanks for the information.  I called Microsoft support and asked them to look up my key and confirm what kind of license it is; Apparently, this is the full retail version of Vista Ultimate.  In addition, they said that it is not a problem that the CoA sticker is torn: the product key is proof enough that I own a Vista license.

• Error message trying to install streets and trips 2011 - .microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable will not install

  I just bought Streets & trips 20011.  I uninstalled S & T 2007.  When I try to install S & T 2011, I get an error message saying that microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable cannot be installed.  Same thing if I try to install from the DVD or download. I 10.0.40219 c ++ 2010 is installed.  I use win 7 pro and Office 2010 Pro installed.  I've read elsewhere that S & T 2011 will not work with the latest patch for microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable.  If that's true then I would like official confirmation in order to be able to return S & T and get my money back.  Otherwise I won't be able to return, because I opened the package.

  I called the 1-800-MICROSOFT to support.  I have given a file number and transferred to technical support.  The answer was so simple I wonder why MS isn't just after it.  So here it is:

  After trying and failing to install the downloaded version of Microsoft Streets and Trips 2011 trial (failed, because I have the latest version of microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable and the program trys to install an earlier version, but then just ends) there will be a subfolder and subfolders installation on your hard drive files.
  go to the "Microsoft Streets and Trips 2011\ST2011\Streets\MSMap\" folder and run the file called "data .msi.
  The program will install and everything is good.

  I use MS office Pro trial version on widows 7 operation of the program and therefore brought the full retail version.
  When I insert the installation disc the program will not, settle after about 5 minutes, I get a message"

• Bug from Microsoft which blocks the installation of McAfee Security Suite

  Verizon and McAfee tec support worked with a problem on my pc, it just got a new hard drive and a new installation of XP installed, not to mention the 200 updates, including service packs 1,2,3. I never had no problems installing or running the McAfee products until 17 days ago. Between myself, McAfee and Verizon tec support, McAfee Security Suite has been reloaded 48 times. During each load, not an error or warning appears, the hard drive acts like it is written for and downloads are all successful, when you close the installation following the instructions once the installation completes, it not there no trace of McAfee on the hard drive accept for some temporary files and some registry entries.

  After the last attempt to McAfee to install a new problem exists, during the verification of your license and your password, bothe the name and the password are incorrect. I have 2 other PC running XP both have Security Suite installed on them and they would be well if the bug was introduced as reciently like 2 months ago, some first encrypted in Microsoft updates, I discovered that more then a thousand other people have this problem.

  We used highly som software sofisicated of security registry and found no bugs, we used as several other safety analysis software on this pc and found nothing so it's new and directly to McAfee as other security software, for example. Norton, work very well. I would suggest to Microsoft to go threw your online updates and find a worm attached to one or more updates that activates this question. I have went up to now download the setup of each update of Microsoft and ran an individual scan on each update but nothing has been found that is why I really think it's the combination code through a number of updates that creates this bug and bring it to life.

  Only Microsoft has all the updates with the original code, they must go threw each update and find the configurations added / changed on their updates to resolve this problem, I would muself, but I'm not entittled to access the database of Microsoft where the original code was stored and compare it to the code distributed by Microsof'ts 'SECURE UPDATE DATABASE ".
