2013 Visio
I installed Outlook 2010 in the base. Visio 2013 has been deployed in an AppStack. Each time a user starts Visio, it passes through the initial installation of Visio. How to avoid this initial configuration, that happens every time?
Please make sure that the machine commissioning also has Outlook 2010 (or other office applications that are on the base image) preinstalled.

Hello world
I virtualized Visio 2013 and everything works but one thing. When I go to the tab design, themes are loading just forever. I can click on them and use them. Looks like the Thinapp can access the theme but not the icon that shows.
Even if I add to the main menu, it always does the same thing.
Did someone you have the same problem?
Thank you
Francis
After some troubleshooting, I noticed that the problem was present when I run it on 64 bit computers. I did other tests and the problem was that he's trying to focus on the Program Files folder, rather than the program (x 86) files to get the files. I copied the contents of the visio folder in % ProgramFileDir(x64) %\Microsoft Office\Office15\ and the problem was solved.

Microsoft Visio 2016 - PDFMaker support
I've recently updated my laptop to work with the following operating system and the applications
- 10 of Microsoft Windows (64-bit)
- Microsoft Office 2016
- Outlook (2016-32 bit). validated PDFMaker the module works correctly
- Excel (2016-32 bit). validated PDFMaker the module works correctly
- Word (2016-32 bit). validated PDFMaker the module works correctly
- Adobe Acrobat DC (AKA: Acrobat XII)
- 32-bit Microsoft Visio 2016
- Does not work; I seek support for hours, and the difficulty of recording offered for 2013 office no longer works.
- Microsoft Office 2016
What I'm trying to understand, is that it resembles the list of compatibility provided by Adobe (see link below) shows that Adobe Acrobat DC supports Visio 2016? But since then I saw Adobe application of feedback from people about whether if they want 2016 Office supported for PDFMaker so I'm really confused, as if the PDFMaker add-in works on applications listed above, but simply not on Visio 2016 32-bit all or is there some other password question.
Questions
- Is Adobe Acrobat DC, taken in charge the of PDFMaker Microsoft Visio 2016 32-bit module?
- If it supports Visio 2016 64 bit and not 32-that would be the right information?
- If it's NOT; is there a roadmap when it will be supported?

Visio 2010 32-bit on Windows 7 64 bit
We run ThinApp 4.7.3 worm - 891762 on a clean 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise VM.
We are running Windows 7 64 - bit on VMWare View 5.2, and these virtual computers have Microsoft Office 2010 32 bit installed in native mode. I can't change that, as some of our applications require Word and Excel in their correct position.
I was instructed to get Visio on our environment from view, so I decided to try ThinApping, rather than a native installation. I followed this guide:
But it seems to use Windows XP as the machine clean. After her, anyway, the build is finished, but when I run the application, I get an error "the operating system is not currently configured to run this application". It seems that I have broken something, but I have no idea what.
If anyone finds it, I was able to fix the problem. The article linked above is FAKE if you capture program on Windows 7. Essentially, you just follow the guide on VMWare support site:
Use the section on 'With Native Office 2010 already installed'. Also, I've found that you use 4.7.x, you must capture on Windows 7 32-bit.
Hope this helps someone.

2013: MacBook Pro replacement motherboard or not
Brain Trust,
I need some advice here.
I have a 2013 fully bridged on (500 GB SSD, 16 GB of RAM) MacBook Pro and the sound from the speakers awefully distorted.
I did all the regular troubleshooting inclusing a clean installation of the operating system, applications 3rd party and the problem persists.
The distortion is NOT dependent on volume, it is still there, as if the sound is cut at all levels.
Now, the headset on the port is perfectly clean, so I think I have it narrowed down to the (material) built-in drivers for speakers. I went to the Genius bar and they agreed and recommend a motherboard replacement. Since I have a month left my Applecare, I could do it, but I hesitate. Professionally, I rely heavily on my machine on a daily basis, and I fear that a machine otherwise perfect with zero problems (other than the problem of speaker) will be messed up.
What is your experience with a motherboard swap and what do you recommend I do? Live with the distortion and contemplate a great Macbook, or opt for repair until the warranty runs out. NB, I have a very old Macbook that I can use for the week or I'll have to miss my machine.
I'll answer my own question:
Do it! I had a fantastic experience! Not only was my main problem, distortion in speakers, correctly diagnosed and resolved, since engineering also saw a small white spot on my screen (who had been there forever), I also had a nine screen. Not only that, I got a new valve and bottom plate, so after 3 years of intensive use, my Macbook Pro looks like new again. Total costs under Apple care program: $0.
It's really the only problem with Aplle MacBooks: my excuse to buy a new went through the window, this machine will last me a few years ago!

I have a maxed out end 2013 the MacBook Pro Core i7 to 2.6 GHz, 16 GB of DDR3 RAM, 1 TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M 2048 MB, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB.
Also, I have a DELL P2415Q Display 24 inches (3840 x 2160) using Thunderbolt, are involved through the headphone jack and use a USB for lightning to recharge my iPhone.
I upgraded to macOS Sierra the day he is released and had no problems until this morning. I unplugged my external screen and speakers and used my laptop for about 15 minutes, the battery, and then returned to my office and plugged my Thunderbolt, rear speakers display in and my CPU shot at 100% and never came back down. My Mac is essentially useless because kernel_task is eating all my CPU and to prevent another asks to enter the CPU.
I have since audited equipment - everything was fine, reset the NVRAM and I tried to erase IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext .plist files but I couldn't on my Mac (trying to follow this guide, started in Safe Mode and everything then went to try and find the file and my Mac just does not have it). When my external screen is plugged if I'm doing anything CPU intensive (videophone, opening of Chrome, etc.) then my kernel_task gets mad again, and the only way to move is to unplug my screen. Connect my iPhone to charge the tips also my kernel_task as well. I followed my internal temperatures, and nothing was out of the ordinary, to cold currently at about 140 °.
At this point, it seems that any time that puts something on the charging system and increase the temperature internal internal components of my Mac kernel_task maxes my CPU, which brings my Mac to its knees.
Any ideas how to fix? Is this just a major bug in 10.12?
Hi, Trent L.
Try this - problems with macOS Sierra? This fix can help you.
He got rid of all my macOS strangeness of the Sierra.
Hope this helps,

Picture-in-picture (pip) works on macbook air 2013
Can't seem to locate in the specifications or support if my 2013 macbook air supports picture-in-picture function. I can't seem to make it work, but I don't know if it's the videos that I'm looking at the software, o
PIP is Mac OS Sierra.
All of the Web sites or applications are supporting this feature again as it is new.
You can use the feature with iTunes if you want to check.
Is attached an image from iTunes, look at the icon that has two boxes and click on it to activate.
You'll notice that the box shrinks and you have PIP to watch album art or even play a movie while using other applications.

I want to use Siri on my Mac Pro 2013, but there is no built-in microphone.
Great so Siri is now activated on your desktop with Sierra. How can I add an Apple flagship computer microphone, the 2013 Pro Mac in a cost-effective manner? It's not even a microphone jack! Help, please!
Is your Mac has a headphone jack? Then try an Apple headset with a built-in microphone.
I'm seeing this in the specification tecniques for Mac Pro: http://www.apple.com/mac-pro/specs/
Audio combined optical digital output/analog line in mini-jack
headphone 3.5 mm with headset stand
The Headphone Jack would connect Apple headphones.
Or use any bargain price USB microphone for speech input.

2013 iMac affected by Kernel Panic on macOS Sierra
I have a 27-inch iMac end 2013 w / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 M. I just upgraded to El Capitan in macOS Sierra 10.12.0 10.11.6. I now get a panic the kernel on once every 15 minutes no real rhyme or reason with regard to activities that I do. Newspapers of panic are lower, but do not provide much info. No single kext / driver is cited because it looks like a general kernel page fault.
I have submitted it to Apple through Crash Reporter and I'll temporarily down El Capitan. I don't know if some 3 rd party software is responsible for, but suggest that there is no trace. The last activity according to the track in question com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothHIDKeyboard.

Internal SSD 256Go - Macbook Pro end of 2013 - has not detected
I bought the macbook pro 13 - end 2013 model Retina display early 2014. It was working fine until 2 days ago. Suddenly, "?" appears at startup (startup). I took the laptop to the authorized Center Apple in India where they mentioned it is a hard drive problem and must be replaced and provided a quote from 45000 + 3000(service charges) for replacement. This seems to be 45% of the actual costs for laptop (in what SSD - 256GB was also part of the total costs). I don't see that it's reasonable price because it is 45% of the cost of the laptop. It's very bad service from apple that I wasn't expecting and force me to buy a mobile best on the market to 45% of the cost of the laptop. Any hard disk cannot cost 45% of the overall costs of mobile.
Please suggest alternative solutions to ensure the functioning of the laptop.
Your service issue is not with Apple as such, but with the store you are dealing with.
The only option I can suggest id to buy a third-party SSD and install it yourself. The cost may be less than what you were quoted.
