  3 months ago I finished my 3rd generation PC. I built an AMD/AM2 socket system and I bought an OEM of Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) version. After only 2 months of use, the thermal paste between my processor and the heatsink dribbled out and down onto my card mother socket. This fried my M/B and the CPU. They no longer worked. I heard of re-activation of phone procedures. Should what steps I take to make sure that my operating system is allowed up and running and safe?

  I have a question that is probably some kind of motherboard or power supply problem.
  The card connects with 72.2 Mbit for my wireless router mbit and 100 with the Integrated NIC.
  
  Right now I have bars of 4 out of 5 on the scale of connection and the router just outside the door, but when I try the card against the bredbandskollen.se it never give me more then 4 Mbps download and upload of 16-20. For now, it's 1.6 Mbit download and 8 Mbits upload both with radio and network card.
  
  All other computers on the network will download speed normal 25-55, laptops and other Pavilion with GFX and solid power supply.
  
  I even went up to buy a wireless extension, which can also be used with the thread, but the problem still there never more then download 4-5 Mbps.
  
  I have warranty still, but I feel stupid about the problem because the card is connected with the right speed to the network.
  
  But the rate of download and upload is far away.  And I'm sure that they will conclude that it is connected to good speed when they try against a router, but that's all the download and upload that seem to simply broken. What I have seen most of the new NVIDIA cards will not work on this motherboard because they need UEFI rather than old BIOS, I'm looking at AMD cards. My question is if the Sapphire Radeon Nitro R9 380 will work on this motherboard. Sapphire says that the card supports UEFI and BIOS legacy. I will install also a 600 Watt power supply which should be more than enough for this card.

  No, I'm not aware of such a list. at least HP.  It would be almost impossible for them to make such a list.  Even the manufacturers of video cards are not entirely sure that a card will work or not.

  Although it is possible to want you want, it will involve a lot of work to get there. You would need to track technical documents to convert signaling levels, if necessary. You would need to identify all the connectors and the wiring needed to make it work. Custom build cables. Not worth it in my opinion.

  I have a Satellite P200D-127 (part number: PSPBLE-02100LEN) which has a tired motherboard. I have a white screen when I turn on the laptop. All lights are on and I can hear the HDD spinning in life, but nothing on the screen. I have tried just about everything I can think of:

  External power supply tested - no problem
  HARD drive removed and put to the test - no problem
  Readability HDD tested - data
  Tested display - VGA screen attached to the laptop. Still no image
  Etc. of cables/connectors/motherboard tested memory for the creep of the component - reinstalled everything

  Then... Any idea where I can get a replacement for this laptop motherboard? I 'Google' Satellite P200D-127 replacement motherboard (and variations of!) and I don't seem to be able to find anything.

  More that likely there is an adapter hard disk that needs to be removed. Most laptops use an adapter to connect hard drives to the motherboard.

  In the manuals section ot the portal of support for your laptop , there is a manual section.  Here is the Service and maintenance guide for your laptop dv6000 series. In the pdf manual, is a list of motherboards used in the series of your laptop.  You will need to decide what motherboard it is based on:

  (a) your location

  (b) your model is a full or a model defeatured.

  (c) your model of laptop has an Intel or an AMD processor.

  Normally, if the computer will always start you can download and run the free utility called CPU - z to see which system board chipset and what is installed for the memory. This will contribute significantly to prevent the wrong system card order.

  If your laptop is not working then I suggest you remove your laptop computer (following the instructions of meagre appearing in the manual) to find the part number on the motherboard before ordering.

  Manuals are in fact written for people with experience in the disassembly of the laptop. They do not have sufficiently detailed instructions for someone who has not opened a place before. Go to insidemylaptop.com to find out how - to of.
