I'm trying to play my music via Bluetooth. My camera says it is connected but the music comes across the stage monitors. I tried my helmet as well. Suffice to say that they are connected but no music.

I read your post about how you are looking to play music through speakers Bluetooth, but no sound, and I would be happy to help you in this case!

You are able to stream transmitted by Bluetooth audio from your speakers connected to another device? Have you updated the Windows updatesto your system and drivers by using The HP Support Assistant?

In the meantime, I recommend that you follow the steps below:

Step 1. Go to Device Manager
Step 2. Right click on "Bluetooth device" you want
Step 3. Select "update driver software... »
Step 4. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software".
Step 5. Choose "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
Step 6. Select "Ports (COM and LPT).
Step 7. Select "Microsoft" to the list of "manufacturers".
Step 8. Finally select "Standard series via a Bluetooth connection.

If you are unable to connect to a Bluetooth device, try the following:

Step 1. Search for 'Change device' in the start menu in Windows 8.
Step 2. Click on where it says change device installation settings.
Step 3. Select No, let me choose what to do option.
Step 4. Check the automatically get the device app option
Step 5. Click on save changes to save the settings that you select

So, you can try this:

Step 1: Go to RUN (Windows Logo + R) and type "services.msc" and Enter
Step 2: Now find 'Bluetooth Support Service' and double click it
Step 3: Now click on the Log on tab and type "Local Service" without the quotes
Step 4. Click on "account".
Step 5: Now remove any authorization of passwords the password field blank
Step 6: Under the top left title should be a hyperlink 'Start '.
Step 7: Click on 'start '.

You can also view tab management power and unchecked the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

    There is only 'ONE' screws to remove and then the Panel slides (see pg 3).

    The driver for the optical drive is provided by Windows, so I suggest to try the following procedure.

    First, run the fixit automated Microsoft at the link below.

    Windows 7

    Check if the drive works now.

    If it still does not work, click on the Menu start, open the all programs, open accessories, right-click on command prompt and select "run as Administrator".  In at the prompt, type the following command and press ENTER.

    sfc/scannow                (Note that there is a space between sfc and /)

    Let the entire process, then the output type and press ENTER.

    Then, click on the Start Menu, open Control Panel and click Device Manager.  Click to open the CD/DVD-ROM drives.  Right-click on the drive and choose uninstall.  Do not delete if requested drivers.  When the device has been uninstalled click the icon 'Search for hardware changes' (usually just below help in the toolbar).  Let windows reinstall the disc and see if it works now.

    I have a HP Pavillion laptop 1063d dmd, which I think has been infected by a support guy because I didn't buy the services it offers.  I thought I was calling a ligitimate support guy, but I was wrong.  The computer works perfectly until I talk to this guy.  Now, I can't open the brouser edge.  Any suggestion?  Install a new HD and reinstalling windows solve the problem?  Hope to hear from you guys.

  • What is the maximum amount of memory that can have my laptop?

    I have a HP Pavillion DV6-7028tx with WIndows Home Premium installed, and I was wondering how much memory can I update?

    The hp site says that 8 GB is the maximum it can handle, but the the system scanner Corsair said that it should be able to hold a total of 16 GB.

    I read that the maximum memory family premium can have is 8 GB, does that mean that if I go to a proffesional, I'll be able to have 16 GB?

    Also, if I upgrade the memory myself, it voids my warranty?

    The page on record shows 8 GB but that is contradicted by the manual. In addition, you got confirmation of the corsair scanner which can operate 16 GB in your machine.

    W7 Home Premium will recognize up to 16 GB of memory, you do not need to upgrade the operating system. Only beyond 16 GB would you go to W7 Pro.

    You will not void the warranty if you read the service manual and follow the procedures for installation of memory, unless of course you big finger at anything and physically damage the material.

    The memory that you install is not covered under warranty HP of course, but more memory quality carries its own lifetime warranty.

  • Error 601 on HP Pavillion G7 1355DX start - but I can't locate CMOS to replace

    We have a 1355Dx Pavillion G7 + 2 years and he began to give the 601 error at startup.  I did search these forums and all can determine, is a problem of internal battery, which means CMOS.  But when I turn the laptop and remove the battery, then the access cover where the HD and memory, I don't see anything that even looks like a CMOS battery.    Battery main high-power is model 593553-001.

    This model is a CMOS battery?

    601 error code is a bit misleading - it's refers to the main battery of your laptop computers and not the RTC (CMOS) cell on the system board.  This error code is usually generated when the main battery capacity fell below 25% of its original value.

    To confirm this, you can run the test of checking battery in HP Support Assistant or download and run the battery pack utility test available on the next page.

  • Pavillion g7 goes into reboot hibernation mode

    I have a wm Pavillion G7-1329 old 2 years with Windows 7. I use Windows antivirus and firewall for spyware with Malwarebytes. I've noticed recently, when I download or update anything, instead of restart as before, he hangs up and after about 5 minutes, he goes into hibernation and will not come out of it.

    I have to make a strong power off.

    I made a couple of restore points, but this does not solve the problem.

    I use a fan to avoid overheating, although he still hot enough.

    I have a HP Pavillion G7 1083nr running Windows 7, which gives the message "imminent disk failure.  I tried to run the tests on the other boards, and they all show failure (the hard drive and the battery test), but do not give any particular message of error themselves.  I tried to run chkdsk.  He ran through all 5 sections and reported no errors or bad sectors.  I am resigned to replace the hard drive.   I would like more information (or where) on how to replace the hard drive and you place your order of recovery discs and if these disks will reinstall the operating system.

    I have a HP Pavillion s5-1126. Not the product. is QU150AA #ABA. My operating system is Win 7 Home Premium. Service Pack 1. 64 bit OS. I have READ with AT@T and got consistent speeds of 6.0 download + Mbps with my old computer running XP, which is what I pay for. It was with Speakeasy.NET and various other speed tests.

    With my most recent RESUME, when I run any speedtest, the graph (or numbers), initially advanced to near 6.0 Mbs then slows down and decrease, and I finally (after a long time) get a reading of<>

    A friend of mine let me borrow an Intel Gigabit CT PCI-E EXPI9301CTBLK network adapter, I put on the computer, makes several different speed tests and got accurate results. Somehow, the adapter provided with this computer negatively affect my download speed.

    Has anyone else had a similar problem?
