• Install the latest Nvidia drivers on ENVY 17 t-j100 Leap Motion with 750M video, need help.

  I went back to the ENVY 17 t-j000 about 6 months ago because I could not install the latest Nvidia drivers. My brother has this laptop and after a few months, HP made an update of the BIOS and now it is able to install the latest Nvidia drivers very well.

  So I decided to try again the ENVY 17. This time, I had the model Leap 17 t Motion - j100 with 750M versus the graphics of 740 M.

  I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia and actually installed Nvidia. Rebooted and everything seemed fine. But he wouldn't let me not use the Nvidia Control Panel, because it seems that the screen was not connected to an Nvidia GPU.

  As of today, I am able to install the latest drivers Intel and Nvidia available:

  • Intel provided HD 4600 driver version date 31/10/2013 10.18.10.3345 - via manual update disk, not the .exe installer method.
  • NVIDIA provided WHQL certified version release date 07/01/2014 332.21 (332.21-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe file name), said driver 19/12/2013 - quick installation, normal use date Nvidia installer.

  Both these installed just fine and work perfectly together at the moment.

  I hope that latest drivers will continue to install and work together as new drivers come out directly from Intel and Nvidia.

  I'm just happy that I finally have two of the latest possible stable drivers.

  Any person who is present in their images displaying at 25% or less? The problem disappears if I uncheck GPU use and then restart Photoshop CC, so my last suspect in this mystery is the last update by Nvidia drivers 335,23. Has anyone had this problem and got successfully to stop coming back to an older set of Nvidia drivers?

  I use Photoshop CC 64 - bit, latest version on Windows 8.1, latest updates applied. I just built the PC 3 months, i7 4930K, 32 GB of ram, dedicated separate SSDs for the C drive and Adobe's Scratch disk and Yes, I uninstall and reinstall PS CC and choose 'delete Pref Files '. I'm pretty sure it's the latest Nvidia driver that is causing the problem. Graphics card Oh, EVGA GTX 770, this model.

  I have HP ENVY 15 t-j000 Quad Edition CTO Notebook PC with Windows 8, 64 bit OS. This is the graphics card NVidia GeForce GT 740 M. Sa version of the driver is 311.41. However, a new version of the pilot was released. I wanted driver to be installed however downloading and trying to install that does not work because the installation of the downloaded drivers could not recognize my device.

  Can I update with this version of driver. I start this file because of the fear of dirty my system because it is not a released hp file.

  There is no harm to install 327,23 from nVidia. HP will come out only the driver if there is no critical update of nVidia Driver. For smaller improvements, HP won't release the update of the driver. If you want to take advantage of the improvements made by nVidia, you can install 327,23.

• First 10 items does not work with the latest NVIDIA drivers, and adobe and NVIDIA will not solve the problem, why should I pay a fee to upgrade to the latest elements when you fix it, and I find myself with old drivers that affect the game?

  I have the question well documented with newer NVIDIA drivers impacting on the preview of the videos in the first 10 elements. Download driver of 5/2013 has solved the problem, however, there whims... which I do not think that I would have to pay for an upgrade of the elements to get rid of the question with my video card.   This is a user to user forum, so I'm not sure how to answer your question.

  Problems with the version 10 and nVidia drivers began about a year or two ago - when version 10 was already on two years and two generations of old. So I'm not sure that adobe is going to offer a fix for an old version of the program. Particularly when the nVidia drivers seem to be originally.

  Certainly, you can contact Adobe Customer Service and see if they go on you some sort of agreement on another version of the program. Or you can take a copy of old or second-hand version 11, 12 or 13 on Amazon or eBay for pretty cheap.

  I heard about people who work around this problem by loading a previous version of a driver from nVidia. But those who seem to be options. The least likely scenario is that Adobe will award a fix for a four-year program.

  I am trying to upgrade the current bios (v1.60) to the later (v2.10), I downloaded P0054v210.exe but when I try to launch it I get the error ' BIOS update is not supported in the OS... "I tried compatibility mode XP but still no luck." I don't want to have to reinstall XP if possible.

  I've read elsewhere that install the value Pack might work, but it was already installed. I've now uninstalled the VAP and installed again with no error reported. Still unable to run P0054V210.exe.

  However, when I try to run the installation of HW in the folder utilities Toshiba in the start menu, I get "HCI load error!" followed by "SCI load error!" but it puts then a box of dialoge Setup with the 'General tab ' with details of the current version of the Bios. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice and still get the same problem.

  Using a Mac OSX updated 10.9.5, to update to the latest update of Lightroom, now get error - Lightroom met permission issues. Click on fix - cannot fix. You click on read more and I tried all the solutions. Always error. Uninstalled and reinstalled - always error.  Cannot set up a new admin on Gov't computer user. Help

  Please make sure that you gave permission for the folders listed in the article, follow these steps.

  1 - give read and write permissions for the Application Support folder and preferably on User Library and the secret library.

  2 - Add user and admin both permissions.

  When you open the Get Info option for specific folder.

  Make sure you click on '+' symbol, it will open the list of user accounts. Add currently logged in user account and Director of user account, if it is not added.

  Both must have read and write to prevent access these some questions in the future.

  Important:

  Once you added as currently logged on user account and administrator user accounts and provided access for reading and writing.

  Make sure you click on the gear icon and select apply to closed.

  Lock dialog box and close the Get Info .

  So that all the folders in the folder Adobe will get read and write access.

• Updated to the latest Firefox, but cannot load multiple tabs

  I've just updated to the latest version, and although there is a button for this, I can't open the second or subsequent tabs. Anyone has any ideas on this subject.

  I'm running a PC in Windows 8 and tried to reload Firefox and restart the PC.

  So, I saw scattered CIHI and out there of people who say that they cannot upgrade to the latest version (1.0.4 to date) of webOS.  To try to put all the world the question all in the same place, I will start this thread and close all others I see on the subject (and try to direct the random messages on here too).

  First of all, everyone should read great post of joek71 on the functioning of the update process.  Thanks, joek71!

  Please be sure to include the following information in your message:

  1. You have access to wifi?
  2. Have you or bring your phone in an EVDO coverage area (as evidenced by the Ev icon)?
  3. Exact measurements you follow and all (if applicable) error you see.  Post screenshots (press Orange + SHIFT + P to create a screenshot in your Photos app) is always nice.
  4. If you're NOT on 1.0.4 which your webOS version are you on? (Application of device information indicates that, so far, it should show this: 'VERSION Palm webOS 1.0.4')

  Normally, I shoot with the 7dmarki and have never had any problems.  After troubleshooting my error message 'cannot open IMG1111 because it's the wrong file type', only the options have been updated plugin raw from the camera, to buy the latest version or uninstall and reinstall.  First train to the plugin to update because it was a leased device.  Thanks again!

  Thanks MichelBParis!  I didn't see where he said to 12 items.  I downloaded the free DNG Converter last night and not had much luck.  It is not recognizing that I have all files in the folder at all.  Don't know what I'm doing wrong!

• Firefox said that my Adobe Acrobat was out of date, so I have updated to the latest version of the Adobe Web site. Firefox has always said it is obsolete.

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I've updated to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but Firefox has always said that it is obsolete. I had the Version of Adobe Reader installed 11.0.12.18. The Adobe Acrobat Reader DC uninstalled Adobe Reader software. I read that the DC version is still buggy. I think I'll uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and reinstall Adobe Reader. Furthermore, I haven't opened the DC application and updates, but there is not. When I had Adobe Reader installed I noticed in the Firefox options under applications menu there is an option to use Adobe Reader (by default). I think I'll try this option. Any advice would be appreciated.

  Obsolete false warning for Adobe Acrobat Reader is a known problem, but unfortunately there is no way to repair at the moment (we are not the developers on this forum, just guys who want to help users).

  Since I have updated to the latest version of Firefox a few days every time I click on a link, or in a dialog (like this one) or try to pin something to Pinterest, a reading of google window opens.   To eliminate if it is a corrupt add on or plugin, please check if it happens in a new profile with just the pintrist on. This will tell you if it's a combination. Use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox

  Also sometimes an antivirus does not detect a virus that would be another. Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.

  You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

  • Microsoft safety scanner
  • MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
  • Anti-Rootkit utility - TDSSKiller
  • AdwCleaner (for more information, see this other AdwCleaner download page)
  • Hitman Pro
  • ESET Online Scanner

  Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one.

• I've just updated to the latest version and now I can not manually type in the URL. I can't get to a new page if I click on a link.

  I've just updated to the latest version of Firefox 32.0.3 today and now I can not manually type in the URL. I can't get to a new page if I click on a link. I had to use - gasp - Chrome just to get to this help page!

  I tried to restart Firefox.
  I can type (not a keyboard problem), but the browser never tries to go to URL, when I hit enter

  Any ideas?

  Thanks - kept looking around and found a rec to make a reset of Firefox. This seems to have worked.
