• Dictation doesn't work after sleep

  I have a macbook pro retina early 2015 version running on El Capitan OS X (10.11.4).

  Recently, I started using the dictation feature & speech and found that it will not work after waking from sleep (most of the time that I do not close).

  When I press the shortcut key to activate the dictation, the microphone at the corner will 'three-treatment-points', is therefore the microphone icon in the status bar (I know that my microphone works well btw). When I click it, the drop-down list says that "dictation is loading. However, after some time, he will answer and I have to force the function to stop smoking.   I use increased dictation. When I finished with the dictation, I deliberately left it. My Mac closes every day at sunset. With OS X and OS X 10.11.4 10.11.5, I have no problems with the dictation, other than his words of misunderstanding sometimes. Dictation is not ready to receive your speech until the three points "pulsed" stop, a sensitive vocal mic icon is present. I have never error messages, or this Console log entry that offered you.

• Satellite M30X: Screen doesn't work after sleep mode

  I own Satellite M30X (model) after I left the laptop on while awhile, the computer went on standby to fashion. When I turned it on, the screen does not work, everything else is ok. I use the external monitor to the laptop. Everything seems to be in the order outside the screen. I did a system recovery and still the same problem. I don't know if it's a hardware or software problem.

  I know the screen works, because you can see roughly. It seems to me that the screen is always on standby.

  Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

  I have laptop HP Pavilion 15 (15-ab004nc) with the card wireless Intel 3160 and running 10 x 64 windows.

  Whenever I put my laptop to sleep, then wake it up, the wireless is dead. There is the Red Cross at the bottom right on the network card and a Wi - Fi connection can not be turned on.

  I tried solutions:

  (1) properties - wireless adapter - device manager - power control - uncheck the box 'allow the computer disable this device... ". »

  (2) remove the current driver (auto downloaded by Windows 10) and install the driver of HP (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72159.exe) drivers site

  (3) remove this driver and replace it with the driver from the installation site with drivers for Intel 3160.

  (4) maximum - wireless - performance even on battery power options

  (5) remove all the network related drivers in safe mode, reboot and installation driver HP for this laptop (identical from the point 2)

  The laptop is useless in this State.

  When I wake up from sleep/hibernate, wifi can not be activated. I tried to disable and re-enable it in Device Manager, but it does not help either, the wireless adapter is dead until I restart the system. After starting, the wifi works like a charm until the next sleep/hybernation, then it died again.

  Any kind of help would be great.

  After one stop wireless I have let it run as a windows network tool diagnoses and he told me that the switching between wifi and no.-wifi button was "no wifi".

  I have never heard of this issue, but have you tried an external keyboard? Check it!

  What's your Windows up-to-date with all Service Packs and patches?
  I doubt that s a hardware issue and in the worst case, you must reinstall.

  I had the same problem with a satellite A100. I did the following:

  1. go in Control Panel
  2. in the system select Classic view
  3. go to the Hardware tab
  4. Select Device Manager
  5. open the 'USB bus controllers' (via)
  6 double-click on USB root hub
  7. Select the tab: "Power management."
  8 deselection allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
  9. my computer has several USB root hub. I repeated at 07:54 for all
  10. I rebooted the computer, but do not know if this is necessary.

  After that, the problem was gone. Enjoy

  Used to run 5.x and if not on a call that the left monitor would display the menus and the wallpaper while the 2nd monitor would show the Self discovers C20

  The monitor works in Mode safe? If this is not the case, there is a problem with the video card.

  No matter what chance/settings (BIOS/CMOS) F2, so screen shows during startup, is often

  If it doesn't then run MSCONFIG and make sure the general tab is on Normal startup.
  On the Startup tab, nothing should be checked (on the main screen - leave advanced options
  Options as they are - APPLY / OK - close and restart.

• I'm having a lot of problems with Dreamweaver CC on my 2nd monitor.

  I can't open new files or create new files... the pane is not displayed. Works fine on my Macbook Pro screen, but not on the 2nd monitor using Thunderbolt. I also have a lot of weird behavior when you attempt to change the code. The selection jumps around... I tried to uninstall and reinstall fresh, but still having the same issue.   I found a "work around" for dual monitor problems I described above. Once you start Dreamweaver for the 1st time, drag the window to your 2nd monitor and then to put your mobile PC to sleep for one second. Once he wakes up to the top, the problems disappeared. Note: This must be repeated each time that you start the app, if I let him just on a lot.
