    This also happened to me. To fix it I just unplugged the printer of and held the power button for about 15 seconds. The only changes that have been made before the error occurred were:

    1: network SSID was changed

    2: tried printing without black print cartridge (later discovered that she had no effect)

    3: new software installed on computer (don't think it was the question whether)

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

    I see that you have a problem with the printer not printing and sending on a white page.

    First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

    I have also found a document on repair print quality problems for the HP Deskjet 3050 a (J611) all-in-One Printer Series.

    It's what I'm here for. Ok, so now we know that it is not the software causing the green text because when you perform a stand-alone copy it comes out as green.

  • DeskJet 3050 a j611g do not print

    I just had my pc hp pavilion dm4-2070us having deleted malware and now I can no longer print wireless from this pc. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer driver at least a dozen times over the 3 days, run resolve this problem, use the HP print and scan doctor at least 6 times and it tells me whenever I don't have the full version of the driver installed so I click on the button to do it and he always tells me the same thing. The printer says again he is connected to the router, I can print a test page for the PC and can this pc eprint. I can't just simply print directly from this pc. The weird thing only that I noticed is that the printer is NOT connected to a Standard TCP/IP port, but a port which is almost the same as the serial number of the printer. Also the location of this printer is NOT filled with address ISP of the printer on the general tab.

    What is going on?

    I am running windows 7 64 Edition home premium with IE 10.

    I found the solution - incredibly the problem is that I got this one too small set document margins. I have slightly increased the margin on one side, and now it prints. I realized that, when another document unrelated to print without problem. Of course, I have no idea why eprint doesn't care about this small margin, but did the print button in Excel, but at least the mystery is solved.

    I see that you have problems printing.  I would like to help.

    I would recommend downloading it and using the HP print and Scan doctor.

    If this does not resolve the issue, I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

    Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

    Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would like to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

  • Printer HP Deskjet 3050 a: decrease the size of the font in Deskjet 5030

    I'm changing the font size to a smaller size on a printer HP Deskjet 3050 has J611g.  My printer was printing to the appropriate size.  Suddenly, on a project he printed normall until it came to the last page, the date on which the font size became so great that only 1 or 2 letters would take on the page.  The next time I tried, each page was so great that only a few letters were on the page.  I don't know if I accidentally hit something or changed a setting that I should not have done, but I have no idea how to make to make it smaller.

    I tried Googling with the search term: how to change the size of the font on the printer HP Deskjet 305 a.  Almost all terms had to do with the increase in the size of the font.  I have quoted me a procedure on the eHow site, but it does not seem to apply to this particular model.

    I also tried to search the HP website problems.  Again, it would either mean that no search term

    has been found or each question had to do with the increase in font size.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have an important document to print, and I already spent two hours trying to solve this problem.  With my luck, it will prove to be something simple!

    Sorry only you know which software you use to print. When you select PRINT, this is the printer control software. You need to know how to find the font size and decrease and make sure that you are not in any type of "zoom" mode.

  • Cannot get 3050 again router connected a wireless

    My router DSL of ATT went out on me a few weeks ago, and they sent a replacement.  I got a dozen devices connected to the new but cannot get the 3050 a j611g connected.  I tried everything I could find...

    1 uninstalled all HP software and going through Setup again.

    2 reset the default printer network settings and repeat step 1.

    This includes, of course, passing by the "printer setup and software ' program on my computer."  Nothing works.  I found these instructions on the site of HP...

    To reconfigure your settings on a printer wireless have no control panel wireless Assistant:

    1. Insert the CD into your computer.
    2. Select reconfigure network settingson the Welcome Back screen.

    The problem is that I don't get to "Reconfigure network settings" as an option when I put the installation disc in my computer.  No 'Welcome Back' of the screen or the other.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Appreciate the help of everyone.  But it must have been a material situation. After tons of calls and a few broken promises, I finally got a case manager who took care of me and sent me another printer.  Saved my faith in HP.

    Open the HP software under start > all programs > HP > printer model name.

    In respect of the actions of analysis, click on scan a Document or Photo.

    Select the shortcut used scan nd set the scan size as any scanning area, then complete the scan.

    The modified configuration will apply to this shortcut from the HP software or the front panel.

    You may be able to do by simply reinstalling the software of full functionality for your printer.  The installation configuration framework includes this process.

    General instructions to install the printer software

    · Create a Restore Point: create a restore - Win7 Point OR create a restore point Win8

    ·         Open drivers HP & downloads

    ·         Enter your printer model information

    ·         Select your printer in the list of the 'results '.

    OR

    ·         Open HP Deskjet 3050 has e-All-in-One Printer - J611g drivers

    ·         Enter your operating system from the menu drop-down

    ·         Click NEXT and scroll down

    ·         Find the category driver - software product installation

    ·         Select the base driver, e-print, or a full features software

    ·         Save the *.exe installation package (s) on your computer

    The files will probably save in the "folder"downloads. "

    If it is available, you can download print and scan doctor and / or other programs of the category-utilities

    TIP:

    Install the utilities / tools first. bit installation packages are smaller in size

    ·         If you have control of "Admin", you can highlight the package and "double-click" to install it, otherwise just right-click, select run as administrator and install.

    NOTES:

    ·          Look at the bottom half of the main Web page for your printer for helpful videos help with the installation of the printer software.

    I have a DeskJet 3050 a J611g all-in-one. I use Windows 7 64-bit.

    Normally, when I doule - click the icon for the printer to my desktop, I get a window that shows the image of the printer and the HP logo at the top with several printer options and specific scanner click on below, for example, to start an analysis.

    A few weeks ago, at the top of this window, I received a message, without doubt, windows, that said that there was an update (or development?) for the printing software, and I want to install it. I clicked on OK, something got quickly downloaded and installed, and this beautiful useful window transformed into a window printer Win7 pretty generic. The printer and scanner-specific options or hp disappeared. I always get the picture of the printer and the hp logo, etc., but in the lower part of this window all I see the following options:

    HP printer Assistant / see what's printing / Set Preferences / customize your printer.

    In addition, by clicking or double-clicking on "HP printer Assistant" does nothing. I can no longer start a scan in this window, for example.

    The desktop printer icon is a shortcut to a program ('C:\Program HP HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 series\Bin\HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 series.exe') which seems to do nothing useful.

    I tried to remove and reinstall the printer software, nothing helps.

    I have downloaded and run the HP print and Scan, ver 3.0 doctor. He detected no downside. Finished, I tried to click on this icon to the desktop printer, and, hooray, I got the correct window with specific options that had disappeared. Great, I thought. I was even able to start a scan of this window. But I could do it only once. Subsequent calls to this program took back me to the generic window. And re - run the doctor no longer curative effect, that it was the first time.

    Everyone knows about this problem? I don't do anything fancy, and I'm quite technical and detailed. I do not know how to begin to understand what happened after I agreed that puts the printer software.

    I answer my own message to indicate that the problem has been resolved, at least for me. I found other threads that describe the problem I have, and one of them said there was a new version of the software that solves this problem. I found it, downloaded and installed, and indeed, the issue is resolved. I'm surprised HP Update did not find the new version, but SpongeBob...     I just bought the HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-one printer-J611g a. The manual has shown to do the printer double-sided printing odd pages then only print even pages only, and it works very well for one page on one side of the sheet. However, when I want to print two pages on one side of the paper and another of two pages on another aspect of the sheet, print the odd pages or even pages only just does not work! Ditto to print more than one PowerPoint presentation on one side of the page, if I click on print the odd pages only, then the printer will display the odd number of powerpoint slide instead of print odd number. I used to have another printer HP Officejet and never had any problems with two-sided printing. This printer comes with the function double-sided printeing at all?  If so, how can I do duplex printing?

    This is a limitation of the software that you use and how the HP printers recognize the incoming files. When compress you multiple pages on a single "page" this page is actually two pages, with even and odd numbers. It is therefore difficult for the software to determine the page numbers 'odd' and 'even' when printing, because it is no longer applicable to the relevant pages, but the format in which they are being printed.

    I recently got a printer HP Deskjet 3050 a J611.  I get an error message saying driver is not updated.  I downloaded the driver (not sure if it was good because there is a choice of 3) (J611a, J611b and J611g).  I tried again and it still does not.  The HP troubleshooting page recognizes the printer is connected, but it won't work.

    Please help to get very frustrated.

    Please follow the steps below:

    1. disconnect the USB.

    2. remove the HP 3050 a DJ software go to uninstall from the control panel of your computers an option of the program.

    3. restart the computer.

    4. make sure that all the software DJ 3050 has disappeared from the list programs, but also your HP folder listed under all programs in your Start Menu.

    5. now, go ahead and download the software and drivers for your 3050 a DJ (DO NOT connect USB until the software prompts you to):

    HP Deskjet full feature software and drivers

    6. go ahead and print a test page.

    7. If you are unable to print a test page, please run the HP Print and Scan Doctor- designed by HP to provide users with troubleshooting and problem-solving features needed to solve many common problems encountered with HP print and scan products related to Windows computers.

    Have you tried reinstalling the driver? To check, is the problem that when you click on the printer icon on your computer, there are some missing options? If so uninstall the printer as Sabertooth suggested by going into Add/Remove programs and uninstall. Then download the latest features for your printer driver full (just select your operating system) and install it on the wireless network. Let me know if the problem persists.
