3054 DeskJet not printing but scanner not work

Hello!

I have a Deskjet 3054 by label on the printer, but the IP address it's Deskjet 3050 all-in-One J610a. My computer is Mac 10.9.5. I read through other posts and have updated all my software via Apple Software Update.

The symptoms are as below:

-Scan works (I can scan a page and view it on my computer)

-Œuvres report printer (this is where I got the IP address)

-The Mac printer & scanner, the printer is recognized and connected

-However, when I print a document, the queue is displayed, shows that the work is being processed. However, the printer does not move. I do not hear the cartridge move. Then the queue indicates that the work is completed and the queue is empty.

    I see that you have some problems with printing from your PC to 10 Windows for Deskjet F380 all-in-one printer. I can help with that.

    Here's what we will do:

    1. If the printer is connected to your PC via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    3. Right-click on your printer icon listed.
    4. Click on remove the instrument.
    5. Repeat for all other icons printer listed.
    6. If you have removed the USB cable and plug. If not, click Add a printer to add to the queue new print.

    At this point, you should be able to print. If you are unable to do so, the next thing to do would be to start printing and scanning doctor. You can find the Print and Scan Doctor by clicking on this link. It will be either allow you to print, it will provide you with a list of questions, he found.     If your printer and scanner are old enough, I could imagine you don t get the drivers for Windows 7. You should check this page: P directly if the Windows 7 drivers are available or not.

    If Yes, download and install it, it s the same as on other laptops and computers. If no driver available devices are not compatible with Windows 7.

Now the printer 'prints' but nothing is on paper. Checked ink supply-says that's enough. Tried to "clean" - still nothing on paper.

    I am using HP Deskjet Ink 1515 advantage and when I am trying to scan a page or a picture, shows the following error: the HP Deskjet series 1510 was not found. This is something that has happened today and never before.

    Try the next step, I believe that this will help you overcome the problem.
    1. start by dissconnecting the USB cable.
    2 remove the printer driver of "devices and printer" which is located in Control Panel.
    3. Download this file (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL48430/al-117537-4/DJ1510_188.exe) which is the solution complete for the HP Dj 1515 series.
    4. extract the contents of the file.
    5 open the "Utils" folder and choose the folder 'x 64', inside you should be able to locate a file called 'RemovePreInstalledDrivers' > once you open this file black screen opens, wait for it to close, then move to the next step.
    6. go to the main folder where you have already extracted the software and right click on the file x 64.msi (name is most likely your printer model), then choose the Option "repair". > Subsequently, you will be asked of preformed a reboot. (Incase you will get a Messege saying "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed" simply double-click the file instead)
    7. after the restart, the head disk Local C/ProgramFiles/HP/PrinterModelFolder/bin/USBSetupLuncher and double click it.
    8 follow the steps for you, and connect the USB cable when prompted to.

    Who should add the scanner to your imaging devices.

    I created my HP Deskjet 3830 yesterday and it worked on wireless connection. At no time was I asked a network security key.

    Reset the printer to the default network. Now plug it back to your routers SSID with password. Try now. If Direct wireless is enabled in the printer, turn it off.

    Well first of all, did finish just upgrade? If so, you must make sure, that you have all the updates of Windows 10 - just search for "update and recovery", and then click Windows update. Make sure that everything is up to date. You should also completely shut down the computer and restart it at least once before you start troubleshooting.

    If you have done these things, and you get the screen asking to add a printer, then the link between 10 Windows and HP full feature software (Printer Wizard) is broken. The best way to recover is to uninstall the software from programs and features and then reinstall it. Go to http://123.hp.com/us/en and look for your model of printer, download the latest version of the free full version software.

  • OfficejetPro 6830: Officejet 6830: print jobs print but remain in the queue, must be deleted manually

    I just installed a new 6830 of Officejet Pro on my home network - WIFI access.  I installed the driver on each of the two PC of Windows 7 x 64 using Setup.exe of the CD.  All work computers print is printed, but stays to work in the queue so the next task will not display until I manually remove the work with printers and devices-> 6830-> see whats printing.   The symptoms are the same on computer A and B.  I used the HP print and Scan doctor on computer.  He said he has made changes and I restarted.  There is no change in behavior.  I also deleted the driver on computer A and re-installed the software using the installation CD Setup.exe and rebooted.  No change.

    I've seen some similar complaints but many responses suggest cleaning registry system, Services, etc.  Given that the behavior is the same on each computer, I don't think it's a software system.  Each computer has a different story.

    Solved by poster: I used the doctor on the other computer (B).  Yet once, I learned that the changes had been made and I rebooted.  Now when I print, the jobs leave the queue on both computers.  This seems a strange liitle that change from one of two computers that access the printer through WIFI would affect printing from the other computer.  But I am happy - I was about to send the printer back because I had just bought it.

    I started it 2 days (near my 5610 old which seems to have problems of aging). I use a Sony VAIO PC, OS Win7-Pro, updated.

  • HP officejet 6500 a printer works with Mac Mountain Lion but scanner is not

    had a 10.6.8 imac and I used and scan with hp printer HP officejet 6500 a.

    Just got a mac mini 10.8.4 and the wizard migration used to move all my programs and information.

    The printer works just fine but the scanner does not work.  When I try to start the scan by pressing the printer screen it says computer no. detected as part of the message.

    If I click on the scanner icon on my dock it says

    HP Scanner 3 cannot be opened locks of Aproblem.  Check with the developer to make sure that HP Scan 3 works with this version of Mac OS X.  You may need to reinstall the application.  Don't forget to install the updates that are available for the application and OS X.  There is also a report I can click on and sent to apple.

    I got a free mini mac technical support - they helped me with the migration, and then a few days later, I called for what they help me with things that were not working as before.  All resolved but this.  They said contact that HP may be there is something that I can download to make the scanner work?  Hope I don't have to buy a new printer.

    Yes, go ahead and put this folder in the trash, I would also suggest restarting the Mac and repair disk permissions in order to avoid any possible permissions errors that can impact on the installation:

  • DeskJet f380 recognized as printer, but not scanner

    I have a F380 all-in-one on my network connected to an old XP box. I have a new box of Win7 that I am connected to the network, and although I can add the printer as the printer, it is not recognized as a scanner. The function 'Add a device' HP is useless because it is looking for a USB connection to this computer - added that a network device is not an option. Control Panel Add a device function does not see the printer. When I browse through the network of the XP machine, I can see the printer (it's how I added it as a printer) but there is no option to add as a scanner.

    When I open the HP Solution Center, it is said that for a network installation, put in the installation CD. I do this, but Setup never made the system requirements because it is an older drive and it do not recognize Win7, and none of these compatibility options can move.

    UPDATE: I downloaded the HP Windows 7 installation program, which includes a network option, but it does not find the printer on the network. Meanwhile, I can still print it. Why is it so hard...?

    It is not easy to sharing the printer from XP to Windows 7. I suggest that you install the USB printer to Windows 7 computer using the software on the link below and follow the Microsoft document for installation printer sharing.   • HP Deskjet D1660: Cannot install printer or Scanner, does not meet the min requirements

    I recently spent computers, from Windows 7 to Windows 7 Professional, and I seem to have install my HP Deskjet D1660 and my scanner, a HP Scanjet G4010 of questions. Both gave me the same problems.

    When I connected my Deskjet, my PC tried to install the drivers from the usb port. He reconizes as a device, it could not install the drivers. Then, I downloaded the program core facility for the Deskjet (DJ_SF_06_D1600_NonNet_Basic_Win_WW_140_175.exe) and follow the guests.

    The installer is never far away and from the beginning, I get a message screen for the system demand for results, indicating that my computer is missing, the USB drivers and a USB device. I had exactly the same result when I tried to install my Scanjet.

    I checked my registry and my USB is enabled, so I'm not entirely sure about the problem. Also, I went through the troubleshooting to the Deskjet printer page. I tried disconnecting / reconnecting the cable USB from the printer and the computer. I made sure automatic updates is turned on. I made sure that all updates are installed. I tried to run the installer with virus protection disabled. I tried to run the installer with the firewall disabled too. I even went through the devices Manager Wizard to add the printer this way goods instructions on the troubleshooting page, but no dice.

    I'm really just scratching my head on this one.

    In regards to recent software or driver changes, I mean the computer is new. I've been slowly installing programs, that I used on my old computer, but they never have interefered with the printer or a scanner working previously.

    I use a wireless internet connection.

    Click the Start button and type folder in the search bar, then open the Temp folder indicated.

    Open the last HP installation folder that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
    Open the installation folder.
    Find the file usbready.exe and rename it to usbready.old.exe
    Navigate to the main extraction folder (folders that begins with 7z) and run the Setup.exe file.

    Now follow the installation and check for the difference.
