  Hi all

  I have question for integration of lync. For example;

  I have a domain for vcs to cisco that is named vcsc.vc.abc.com in vc.abc.com.

  and I have another domain for lync, abc.com.

  Can I use my a vcs also gateway lync with the same name?

  I did the configuration of lync side according to the document and all certificates.

  I tried a vcs as a gateway to lync

  Finally, I have some errors in the VCS status page

  VCS is alive but LYNC gives errors for me which is unknown failure.

  Any thoughts?

  According to the VCS-Lync deployment guide:

  Be careful when you design your deployment that you do not have multiple gateways by field of Lync, is more than a field of Lync by gateway. There is a walkway VCS (or cluster) in one area of Lync. It is possible to configure several areas Lync, as long as you have an independent gateway serving each. You cannot configure several Lync areas with only one gateway Lync VCS serving all the. You should avoid to configure multiple gateways to serve a single domain of Lync. With this deployment, calls for a video endpoint to a different video endpoint that is called through its area of Lync will get routed via Lync, rather than directly through the collaboration infrastructure. Duo video, end camera control and possibly encryption and the video quality, users could lose.

  My second problem is that if I just change one letter (q becomes Q), the answer changes completely.

  When you type wx you now have a variable named "wx" - not w * x which is what I suspect you intend. You must manually add a multiplication between them.

  When you use the Q, you are actually using the predefined global real variable that is most likely the value 0. If you've stored 2 in Q, I suspect that you'll get a different result. Remember that all variables in capital letters from A to Z and THETA and already defined as real numbers. VARS-> HOME-> REAL-press and you will see them.

  To prevent users to log on with the VCS Highway, we want to use OpenSSL (version: 1.0.1p 9 julio 2015), but I am facing the following problem:

  1 - I can't implement the command "touch index.txt".

  2 - I can´t implement the command "openssl genrsa-aes256-out private/cakey.pem 4096"; and when I apply these commands I get "OpenSSL is not recognized.

  I did all the steps that says "VCS certificate creation and use Cisco".

  What could be the matter?

• Integration of Lync with VCS - key Option mandatory?

  We implement integration with VCS on x7.2 lync.  Using B2BUA with lync 2010.  Everything works internally with lync configuration, we are only having trouble with lync external participants come and we border routers in the mix.  Direct pools are set up under the name of trust.  We have turned on the highway of the tower.  The calls started from inward of Lync.  VCS sees calls says it is connected, but the appeal does not and then falls normal call clearing.

  My thought for the failure, is that the OCS Collaboration option key has not been added.  But I can't tell in the deployment guide, if this key is necessary only if the encryption is in progress.

  The other area that we now have on the border routers is if The Edge server and the firewall that the Edge transport server may move multimedia traffic through can then reconfigure to allow RTP over UDP and RTP over TCP to pass.

  Can you confirm if the key of the SCO is a requirement for Lync which crosses the highway?  And are there other areas which we recommend why calls set entirely outdoors.

  the SCO cooperation improved option key is necessary for this scenario of appeal, stated at pages 13 and 53 in the Lync to X7.2 deployment guide:

  Calls on a Microsoft Edge server require the VCS have installed improved OCS Collaboration option key because this key allows the ICE to be used for media connectivity

  You are also right that you will need to allow RTP UDP traffic to and from your Edge transport server, as the TURN server on VCS Highway currently does not support the RTP over TCP. If this isn't the case, ice connectivity check between the B2BUA and the Lync client and server Edge fails, which in turn causes to disconnect.

Client now wishes to integrate with their existing Exchange 2003 for voicemail environment in their email inbox.   Then you must follow the instructions in the section Customizing ODI to load data from a custom Source to the Administrator's guide.

  To configure the topology of the ODI, I recommend creating schema dataserver/physics/logic for your EBS server and not reuse the EBS_DATA_SERVER that is used for pre-packaged EBS GL integration. Then you can reverse your view or any table you use in the ODI Interface

So during the installation, I get these errors: 1328 and 1603. If I uninstall the current version of MS, install 2015.007.20033 (most recent Adobe site) version and then install updated security, everything is going very well. How to solve this problem?

  I assume that you have installed 15.009.20079 by AIP. Is that this is the case, then you won't able to correct this AIP installation at 15.010.20056.

• Problem with Hyper-V Integration Services on vSphere 6.0

  Hello, I'm under Hyper-V (2012 no R2) nested on vSphere 6.0

  Everything works except the Hyper-V integration services. Hyper-v virtual machines for a reason any think they are a physical system and they don t let start/install/upgrade to level integration services. Some screenshots to document the issue:

  

  

  

  

  I have tried everything I know or could find:

  • Use the options in the vmx file: hypervisor.cpuid.v0, vhv.enable, winHyperV OS guest, etc.
  • Use the options in the hyper-V (VM) host.
  • Running versions of different material on the Hyper-V VM (9,10,11).
  • Tried with and without tools vmware on Hyper-V hosts.
  • Tried different OS in Hyper-V (Server 2008 R2 and 2012).
  • Several fixes and upgrades on the side host/guest.

  I saw this problem documented in this post: http://vblog.is/?p=94 and the solution seems to demote the 6.0 to 5.5 ESXi host and this isn't an option for me (and I really need integration services running for testing purposes).

  I'm sorry.  It seems that the problem was solved only for AMD hardware in vSphere 6.0P01.

  I will try to get a patch for vSphere 6.0P02.  Unfortunately, I can't come up with a viable alternative in the meantime.

  We are a COMPUTER consulting company and we have a lot of colleges and universities using Novell looking at VMware VI3 and VMware VIew.

  (1) for VMware VI3 tabs of permissions must be able to connect to an LDAP server to Active Directory only.

  (2) for VMware VIew 3, the VMware Agent should be integrated into the Novell Client for Windows...

  We did a little proof of concept with VMware View, and each time that the Novell Client are causing a lot of problems with VMware View Agent. It's bad because these 2 projects has been more than 10000 thin clients. They decided to Citrix XenDesktop used instead.

  It'll be great if you can built your product with the architecture of Novell.

  We have integrated OBIEE with EBS. We have a menu called GPM dashboard element that earlier had three tabs recently, we have added a tab. By clicking on the dashboard GPM, we are able to see the fourth tab only three tabs is not displayed. Although the reports for the 4th tab are there. Can someone tell me what might be the raeson why because webcat has 4th tab and its report. Why is OBIEE not shwoing the current dashboard.

  Assuming that your happy with the security put in place on the first 3 pages, and you simply want to view the 4th (it is not appeading currently) I would simply reproduce the security in the first 3 pages on the 4th?

  There is clearly a different group activated on page 4 - is that what you want?
