4 (2.62 usable) GB RAM? System window 8 64-bit
Upgrade Windows 7 to 64-bit window 8. I rolled 1 GB ddr1 ram, but it shows only 2.62
2.62 exceeds the memory of 64-bit windows
1, some computers may use only 1 or 2 sides ram cards to chip, not both, install one or the other.
Also, you may have a bad battery MB, if it's a desktop pc, install a new one, they cost about 5.00
Read the manual of the owner on the 'how', once installed reset the BIOS as it returns by default...

Satellite A200 (PSAE6) - RAM on Windows 7 32 bit upgrade
I have a Satellite A200 (PSAE6) and I wanted to put more 2 GB of RAM, but tell me the Windows 7 Ultimate 32 recognizes only 1 GB means a total of 3 GB.
Is this true?
Hello
Usually the OS 32-bit Windows recognizes ONLY 3.2 GB of RAM due to the limitation of the 32 bit OS.
Therefore, you cannot use 4 GB of RAM with Windows OS 32-bit (Win XP, Vista, Win 7).But the upgrade to 4 GB RAM also depends on the chipset and BIOS.
If both parties (BIOS and chipset) are not 4 GB RAM capable then you would not be able to use 4 GB of RAM, even using the 64 bit OS.Welcome them

Download this message when I try to run Lightroom. The procedure entry point AgTransitCargo_pushTransitCargo could not be found in the AgKernel.dll dynamic link library
system: windows 7 64-bit
There is no error in the log file.
no error in scannow at the command prompt.
Hi Michela,
Lightroom makes a call the the AGkernel.dll file, but the file isn't sure what to do because it can't find the line of code within himself to answer. This can happen for several reasons, that fall within these two broad categories: AGkernel.dll is damaged and must be repaired or AGKernel.dll version is incorrect and should be updated to the correct version.
Here are some things you can do to fix the file:
-Record again with Windows AGKernel.dll: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/249873
-Windows repair: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833
-Install all the updates that are available for Windows: Windows Installer updates
-Uninstall and reinstall Lightroom

Satellite L750D - can't access 4 GB of RAM under Windows 7 64-bit
I recently bought a Satellite L750D/009 with 4 GB of RAM. Have installed Windows 7 64 - bit OS but panel shows that only 3.47 GB of RAM is usable. I expect this from a 32 bit OS but I'm * definitely * running 64-bit OS.
Can someone explain this?
Hey,.
Are the whole 4 GB of RAM in BIOS? If Yes, everything is ok.
I think that the rest of the memory will be used for graphics card graphics memory so it of normal. This will be controlled automatically so n t you worry about this.

RAM problems &; windows 7 64 bit or Windows 7 32 bit
Hello
Have Presario SR5440AN
2 GB of RAM (2 x 1 GB - factory loaded)
Windows 7 Ultimate-32 bit
NVidia Geforce 9500 1 GB DDR2 GT graphics
The Porcessor AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core 5200 + 2.7 GHz
My question is in 2 parts.
(a) what's causing my next problem?
4 GB (2 x 2 GB) of RAM Corsair DDR2 - 6400 compatible according to my survey.
When I try to load it (ie. replace the current 2 x 1 GB RAM) the computer freezes or restarts the Windows 7 logo at startup.
Does not extend beyond this point.
If I load 1 x 2 GB Corsair computer loads OK BUT system is unstable and will randomly reboot or hang.
(b) would be using 64 bit Windows 7 with his problem?
Can I load Windows 7 64 bit (like the AMD 64 x)?... and she would help load and make use of the 4 GB of RAM I have.
Thank you very much.

What do you mean by "compatible according to my survey?
It is important that you buy only guaranteed compatible RAM. It is if you want it to run without problems like those you meet.
You bought a good brand, but it is not enough. If it is guaranteed compatible RAM, I suggest go back because it does not work. Modules of memory are not lacking. Even those brands as Corsair.
Installation of Windows 7 x 64 won't help. A 32-bit Windows 7 installation will be @ 3.25 GB of the 4 GB available. That's enough. Only install a 64 bit OS if you want or need to use more than 4 GB of RAM. The following image lists guaranteed for your Corsair PC compatible memory. Corsair indicates that 4 GB modules are designed for computers with 64-bit operating systems.

Must both x 64 x 32 to be installed on the operating system Windows 7 64 bit system?
I noticed that both (x 64 and x 32) versions of Adobe Photoshop programs have been downloaded and installed on my Windows 7 x 64 system, are they correct?
Yes, it is perfectly fine. Both versions installed. PS just like a traditional 32-bit application and a 64-bit version for systems with processor and operating system to run 64 - bit.
Adobe:
"The main advantage of using the 64-bit version of Photoshop is to access the amounts of RAM beyond what Photoshop can access as a 32 bit application. Photoshop can make the most of more than 4 GB of RAM only if it runs as a 64-bit application'.

Im trying to install drivers for a Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 on my windows vista 64 bit computer. Every time I have try and start the download, it is said that my driver is not a 64-bit driver, which is false, and that my system is 64 bit, which is true. SO... after I click 'OK', it begins to download only to have another pop-up saying "Setup has detected that the system in use is not windows vista 64 bit" which it is. Basically its contradiction with himself. im confused.
Im running windows vista 64-bit.
I just upgraded to a Nvidia 9800GT, to a Nvidia GTX 260.
In frustration, I deleted all the old drivers, but the new will not download.
The first error says that the drivers are not 64-bit.
The second error indicates the operating system is not 64-bit.

Maximum RAM for Windows 7 32 bit
I already looked around for answers, but all the information I can dig up seems to conflict with the other. I need a straight and to-the-point response:
How much RAM can I install on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and still have Windows recognize and use memory?
It would also help to know how much this RAM will be left for use by me at the end.
As far as I know, I can install up to 4 GB, and I'll be able to use about 3.5 GB of it. Is this fair?
Apparently, a small part of the RAM (about 0.5 GB) is reserved by the hardware and the system. Is this true with any amount of RAM, or only 4 GB?
Thanks for the clarification,
Rifdhan
32-bit Windows has a 4 GB address space. Part of which serves as memory graphics and the system BIOS.
With a 256 MB graphics card about 3.3 to 3.5 GB of RAM can be addressed and used, assuming that you have 4 GB installed.
If you fit a graphics card with 1 GB of memory only about 2, 6-2, 8 GB of RAM would be addressable and usable.

Have you already checked the BIOS? How much RAM show the BIOS?
And what kind of modules you have exactly?Normally, it should be possible to use full 4 GB of RAM on a 64 bit OS as your laptop also supports 4 GB.
Maybe you should also try updating the chipset driver. You can find it on the Toshiba site.

Hi gvaneynde,
If you are successfully able to install this printer on two other computers, which indicates that the printer and software work. It is possible that there is something on this operating system of computers contributing to the failure of the installation. Follow the steps outlined in the document below and let me know if this helps to get the printer installed?

There he possibility to download a 32-bit version instead of the version 64 bots? Thank you
You have not indicated what software it is, but if it's something to do with the Creative Cloud software there is no 32 available bits. All CC programs require 64-bit systems.
