403 Forbidden, try to use a procedure of package to bring up a page

We are in the process of upgrading the APEX 3.2, 4.2.  In our previous implemtaiton, we had a link on the bar using navigation woud

javascript:popupURL('comi_help_util.show_help?p_application_id=&APP_ID.&p_p___age_id=&APP_PAGE_ID.')

to generate the help page and display it.

When we started to test, we had initially a 404 not found error; but we who fixed granting EXECUTE to Government on the package one by ensuring that us had public synonyms so the scheme could be left out of the call.

After we did it we started having 403 Forbidden errors.  We tried to add the name of the package to the www_flow_epg_include_mod_local function, but it did not help.  And from what we can tell, the 3.2 version did not have this set.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

OH! CHEESE AND CRACKERS!

It was the "RETURN FALSE;" which should be placed in the comments.  Since it was above the comment block, we just kept overlooking it.  We have continued to assume that she had been abducted in our latest installation.

  • 403 Forbidden error of execution of the procedures of the URL of the browser stored

    I am currently trying to run a simple stored procedure (ea.hello_world, where "ea" is the pattern and "hello_world" is the name of the procedure) a URL from the browser, but am getting a 403 Forbidden - error message "you don't have permission to access /pls/apex/ea.hello_world on this server. I use APEX 3.2 with Oracle 11 g and mod_plsql and gave the steps of apex_public_user. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

    Here is the process I have used so far:

    Create the "Hello_World" procedure in the "EA: schema

    create or replace
    procedure hello_world
    is
    Start
    HTP. Print ("'Hello World!");
    end;

    I then successfully granted to run the apex_public_user procedure:

    Grant execute on ea.hello_world to apex_public_user;

    Then, I tried to call the stored procedure from the browser using the following syntax:

    http:// < Server >: < port > / pls/apex/< schema >. < Procedure & gt;

    I also experimented with the use of a public synonym and the configuration of the wwv_flow_epg_include_mod_local, but I do not think that the function s relevant since I'm using mod_plsql and not the embedded pl/sql gateway.

    Hello

    If you have below the line in dads.conf, then wwv_flow_epg_include_mod_local sets

    PlsqlRequestValidationFunction wwv_flow_epg_include_modules.authorize

    Try:
    Create public synonym

    CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM hello_world FOR ea.hello_world;

    Grant privilege to execute procedure to the public

    GRANT execute on hello_world to public;

    Then change the APEX_030200.wwv_flow_epg_include_mod_local function

    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION
    APEX_030200.wwv_flow_epg_include_mod_local(
        PROCEDURE_NAME IN VARCHAR2)
    RETURN BOOLEAN
    IS
    BEGIN

        IF UPPER(procedure_name) IN (
              UPPER('hello_world'))
       THEN
            RETURN TRUE;
        ELSE
            RETURN FALSE;
        END IF;
    END;
    /

    Then try
    http://:/pls/apex/hello_world

    If you can now run your procedure in URL, you can then low and e.g. grant execute procedure to the user of DAD.

    Original title: how to eliminate or difficulty 403 forbidden errors?

    Trying to play PCH games and competitions. Get a 403 (forbidden) error message. How to fix it. PCH.com is already in my license file.

    Hi Glenda,

    I understand you get a 403 forbidden error message error message while trying to play PCH games and contests. I understand the inconvenience.

    (1) is the specific question to Canadian Heritage, games and contest website?

    (2) have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    (3) what version of Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

    (4) tried to access the site on another computer? This question reflects there as well?

    If this problem is with a particular Web site, try to access the site on another computer. If you are not able to connect there as well you may have to get in touch with Web site publishers.

    HTTP [Hyper Text Transfer Protocol] 403 Forbidden error means Internet Explorer is able to connect to the Web site, but Internet Explorer does not have permission to view the Web page.

    If I then copy this URL resolved in Firefox, the help page then also displays correctly.

  • Calendar Server responds with 403 Forbidden' operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.

    With the latest version of Mac server (5.1.5 on OS X 10.11.6), when I try to migrate a large calendar via a client computer, it takes a long time and then I get an endless series of

    The server responds with an error.

    Access to the "[name of the cal event]' in '[the calendar name]' account"[account name]"is not allowed.

    The server responded:

    "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden.

    operating CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.

    [Go offline]  [Back to the server.

    errors.  I have to leave something heavy press enter for a few hours to get rid of all the errors.

    Migration of the small calendars to the server (by importing data in iCal on the calendar of the hosted account) works for most (it may be a mistake or 2).

    I found a suggestion of years ago on another Board that permissions can be screwed to the top and use this Terminal command:

    sudo chown-r _calendar:_calendar/Library/CalendarServer/Documents

    However, this suggestion was for the 10.6 Server and may no longer apply.

    Any thoughts?

    Today, I had the idea of trying to download the calendar from the same computer that is serving the calendars.  Should be faster and better (and the same OS!)!

    So, an account on it hosting Mac and started the import process, which seemed to go more smoothly, but then seemed the same thing happening: most of the CPU has been get taken up with various activities related to the calendar and then after a while, it started spitting out errors, but they were slightly different.  There are too many mistakes all move just above.  Also, try to add more events to this calendar also fails.

    Now, they say:

    The event "[name of event]" was rejected by '[Server]' because the maximum number of resources has been reached.

    Is there a limit to the size if a calendar?

    I do something wrong or is this a limit of the software?

  • How to access a web site without getting a 403 forbidden?

    When I use a PC to access a website to any site the browser takes me to it without any problems. If I should try the same thing on my Mac Mini 2012 the same exact site gives me a 403 Forbidden message. Any browser should I use I get the same results. Why this phenomenon happens and is there a work around?

    On your Mac using Safari go to click menu bar Safari Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab, then click: delete all data Web site

    Quit and then restart Safari to test.

    If this does not help, you can have an extension Safari or third party plugin installed which is causing a conflict. It is easy to solve the problems.

    In the Safari menu, click Safari > Preferences , and select the tab ' Extensions '. If there are installed extensions, one at a time uninstall and exit then restart Safari to test.

    If it is not a question of extensions, try troubleshooting third-party plug-ins.

    Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the tab Security Deselect: plug-ins Allow. Quit and restart Safari to test.

    If it makes a difference, the instructions of troubleshooting plugins here.
