using ad to automatically is checked "remote assistance" in the system in the client PC properties

Is there a way to do the above?

The strategy has been set to allow

There are many computers in my organization and I would use ad to facilitate this process.

I already activate the option "provide assistance remotely" in politics in my ad, but this does not automatically check the box remote to the client computer assistance.

Please notify.

Thank you.

  • Remote assistance - manage the support network?

    Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

I would use the Windows Remote Assistance as a support tool for every computer on our network (about 400). From now on, I came with the addition of a newspaper in the execution of the script:

    Password MSRA /saveasfile "x:\%username%".
In return, the Logout script deletes the file.
That means to me, is to create a Windows Remote Assistance invitation file in a network location, that I can navigate, see what users are connected and it must be the register of the location of the computers (IP/ComputerName). Makes things much easier for me to connect to users and makes it easier for the user. Less user by connecting the best assistance. My goal is to connect to the system without the user having to do anything. From now on, I have to their market through me enter the name of the computer, so I can type in Windows Remote Assistance.
My question here is what pops up a window like this:
My question is: is it possible to get this to start quietly in the background or minimized in the Notification area?
Also: I'm more then happy to have answers with the best means to achieve my goal.

  • Can I use my android phone as a remote control for the air to my iPad

I have an iPad Air, can I control remotely using my phone android mobile

    N °

About the only thing you might be able to do is to get a basic application is which is about android and iOS, as a player (do they have an android app) and then you can use it to access the documents of these two devices (upload photos from your iPad and view them on your phone and vice versa, for example)

but your phone and your iPad literally speak two different languages.

  • VMware Fusion supports by using windows remote assistance?

VMware Fusion supports by using windows remote assistance? If so, some can give me how to proceed. I can't make it work in fusion. I have to stop and start Vista in bootcamp for windows remote assistance work. Thanks in advance for your answer.

OK, so I installed Vista 64 bit Windows in a virtual machine.

It loaded up, went ' start > Help and Support > Windows Remote Assistance'

The guest came, I asked save the invitation to a file.

Has taken this copied file there to my computer mac desktop, then on my XP VM.

Double clicked on it from XP (and two virtual machines)

It connected and starts fine, succeeded in part of the screen and the lot.

The only things I've done in the machine was Vista disable UAC and the firewall.

My bet is that it is the firewall.  Could be UAC, but I have just disabled to avoid boredom of ' are you sure you clicked right on what you clicked just?  REALLY REALLY sure? "

    Hello

Thus, Home Basic edition, and Home Premium edition are the same options as Business, Ultimate and Enterprise.

Basic and Premium "Remote Assistance" and the other three SKUS have full Remote Desktop. This is probably the question you are running in.

And the experience is different as well. You can however, is located on a computer Home Basic/Premium and connect by using "Remote Desktop" on a computer running Business, Ultimate and Enterprise. But not the other way around. You use Remote Assistance.

Remote Assistance allows a remote user to connect to your system via an 'Invitation '. You can search in Help and Support for Remote Assistance or Desktop FAQ good explanations.

Remote Desktop is designed so that you can connect to your computer remotely to work. This does not require an invitaion. Do not add users to a permissions list (essentially to be an Admiistrator or the remote user to group.)

It was really just a couple of things you need to put in place to communicate with office remotely to another computer... easily anyway.

    (1) you are on the SAME network. Your count gets its IP address from the same server (DHCP) or in the same range of IPS 'assigned manually.

    (2) you are in the same workgroup or domain. If this is not the case, this is complicated.

    (3) you must go into the system properties and allow Remote Assistance (Basic and Premium) and/or business (Business, Ultimate) remote desktop

An Alternative to Remote Assistance is Windows Live Messenger. It has a nice little feature that allows you to do the same. It requires that a person on the remote computer send an invitation and accept the connection as much as Remote Assistance... a little against the goal... but clean enough little free app to fix someone's computer remotely.

    I hope this helps

  • Remote Desktop area is missing the 'Remote' tab in the System Properties dialog box window?

Remote Desktop area is missing the 'Remote' tab in the System Properties dialog box window? I can not set up or add users. Remote assistance is the ONLY settings and options that I see. It is a brand new OEM Vista Home Premium X 64 installation with all updates (SP2). That's the problem since it was first started.

I'm sorry, but it is not possible to access Vista Home Premium via Remote Desktop.  To do this, you need Vista Business or Vista Ultimate.

  • Used a computer and comverted to a Repeater for the test, now want to recreate to a computer

As we mentioned on the title wants to know if I can use this computer as a regular computer by deleting the client software that was installed and delete address static IP that has been used. Or do I I just recreate the image on the computer back once again?

    Hi GilbertOsejo,

You should not reimage the computer, you should be able to remove the client software and then undo the changes that have been made to create a static IP address, and the function of the computer as a normal computer even once.

You can also perform the system restore

See the link on how to restore Windows XP to a previous state below: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084

To remove a static IP route: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/sag_tcpip_pro_removestaticroute.mspx?mfr=true

  • Unable to connect to a Windows XP Pro SP3 machine using remote assistance

Remote Assistance XP Pro sp3 and Windows 7Any

I realize account of Windows 7 is still in RC, so if that's the answer, that's what it is. :-)

Trying to help MOM with assistance remotely.  She is under XP Pro sp3, and I'm running a box fully patched Windows 7.  When she sends the invitation of the RA, the box 7 attempts to connect says it is connected and then is waiting for response from the user.  However, she never had a guest on his machine to accept the request.

Now, I know what you think, so take that into consideration.  When it does work, I broke out my other laptop under XP Pro SP3 and was immediately able to get on her box without any problem, that is to say, just behaved as expected.

Any suggestions for W7 to connect to a box of XP Pro sp3 with RA?  I can see it as an ISP thing - maybe - 7 using a protocol of its blocks to ISP (as cox communications blocks port 80 on residential users), perhaps a DCOM conflict or something like.  I really hope that this isn't just stupidity on my part, but it would not be the first time. ;-D

    Any input appreciated

    Thank you

    Joe

PS we also tried the direct connection to the net - no device between us other than (his end) DSL modem and modem cable (my thesis).

  • Can I disable the Terminal Services if I don't use remote assistance/remote desktop?

I use can I have Vista 32 bit home premium

I thought that Vista have no remote desktop? Is not Terminal identical remote desktop services?

    When I go

MyComputer > right click > properties > remote adjustment

the box for "Allow remote Assisnatnce" is NOT COCHEE

But when I run Netstat - ano, I see that port 3389 is listening svchost.exe process when I checal what services are related to this particular svchost.exe, I see the following services:

    Cryptographic services
    DNS client
    network location awareness
    KtmRm for distributed transaction coordination
    telephony

    and Terminal Server services

Seems to be at a point several years ago, I allowed someone from microsoft to help me through the assistance at a distance could therefore have enabled or downloaded services Terminal Server?

In any case, I think that Terminal Services is initially port 3389 to remain open and thus get an unsolicited connection attempts from different IP addresses.

I tried a little experiment and finished the Terminal Services and changed the status of manual start-up. When I still ran netstat - ano, he showed no listening on port 3389

However, when I rebooted my computer Terminal Server was running again. So I ended it again but this time off the service. When I fell net stat - ano he showed terminal services does not. then when I restarted my computer, Terminal Server services do not have turn on port 3389 has not been shown that listening

SO my question is, as a user of Vista which doesn't use remote help desk or remotely.

    1. I CAN keep the disabled Services Terminal Server?

    2. it cause me any problem of operation or security if she stays in the disabled state?

3 have disabled will cause me to not be able to get the scheduled updates?

    Thank you

But I have been informed by Norton Personal asa require a Terminal Server Services be, nit for the part of remote assistance, but for other reasons. They say I can't turn off

    Tried:
-Setup the remote asstance for the Username (account login) designated

  • What port should be sent to use a vista home PC remote assistance?

I use XP Pro and my daughter use vista home.  She has a d-link router.  What are the ports I need to pass in the d-link router, so that I can offer assistance remotely from my XP system?

    See you soon,.
    Greg.

A much better, more easy and free solution is to use TeamViewer . You can monitor his computer and some ports must be opened. All she has to do is double-click on an icon and read you two sets of numbers. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Question about security using remote assistance

If I use my PC remotely, help another computer that I suspect is infected by a virus, are there chances to infect my computer?

Not usually.  I would use a software reliable connection remote/assist.  My favorite is TeamViewer, but he has no other choice.  Or those yet integrated.

But is generally not a risk especially if you do not have any file transfers.  Remote Desktop and programs like it have the ability to share disks and transfer files, but if you just display and control of the screen, the program would ignore any request from nothing else to do.  And of course your local machine still has the firewalls and security software.
