4235 with multiple monitoring Interfaces?

This is a general question as to whether anyone is running on 4.0 4235 sensor code with multiple monitoring interfaces?

Basically, I wonder if you have any comments on the performance or if you run into any problems with the configuration. I have not seen too much documentation for configuration in fact this, so I wonder if there are additional requirements or considerations.

Hi Chad,

With ID 4.0, you can only montior using an interface to sniff. 4.1 you will have taken care of multiple monitoring interfaces.

As far as performance goes, I don't see any problems and more to ensure that the management station is able to handle the upcoming alarms when using several interfaces.

Thank you

Obaid.

I noticed a number of issues when running JavaFX 2.X applications on a system with multiple monitors. My setup consists of 2 monitors (primary and secondary on a dual graphics card) and my third on a separate graphics card.

The questions I have observed are,

    (1) the application is not too sensitive when running on the second or third monitor.

    (2) when the application runs on 2 monitors and re-tire it will only redraw correctly on one of the monitors. The application will be displayed as a black box on the another moniter

    (3) where the application does not run on the primary monitor and a ChoiceBox is selected choice appears as expected but it blackens the application in the background.

  • Flash with multiple monitors

    Hello

I have a problem with the Flash projector and multiple monitors.

I'm developing an application with the .exe file running on a multiple monitor environment, when I try to get a full screen (with CTRL + F or fscommand ("fullscreen", "true")) display only goes to the main screen.

The only thing that works is to maximize the application but I get the menu and the windows taskbar and the key.

Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

    Thank you in advance.

    Javier.

I think that unless your desktop is set on both monitors and double not only a vision, full screen will always go to just the main monitor. Most graphics cards dual monitor give you the possibility of having dualview, or span.

  • RDP to machine with multiple monitors, preserve the application position

    Dear community

I have a Windows 7 Pro machine in my office with 2 monitors. I have my apps positioned on these two monitors.

Of the House, I use RDP to connect to this computer. My RDP supported a single window, applications appears in this window.

If I disconnect the RDP session, my desktop computer remains connected. I connect back to the office, and my apps will automatically go to their 'proper' again monitor.

It's all a great feature, which means that I can't move my apps around again once I am back in the office.

My colleague has the same configuration, but it has 6 monitors at the office.

Following the same logic from above, I would expect applications to their selected monitor, but appears not to be the case.

Does anyone know if there are limits here?

    Kind regards

  • Detection of resolution Windows move Application Windows with multiple monitors

    Looking for a few tips:

I have a laptop Dell XPS13 plugged into a Targus docking station, to which I have two connected displays. So, indeed, I have three monitors, which is the screen of the laptop.

Every now and then monitors everything flashes once or twice; When it's finished, all or part of my application windows are passed to different monitors, generally meet on the screen of the laptop. I think that Windows must re - adjust the resolution or something, and is not to remember what application is linked to which monitor.

What is the result of an intermittent connection between the monitors and laptop docking station? (These last two are brand new.) As I type this now, I have not known the issue for some time, so I wonder if it has nothing to do with what applications I use. I tend to 'maximize' windows in monitors, if that makes a difference.

  • How to not to let Firefox HTML5 mode full-screen with multiple monitors or a window manager tiles

    Hello

I'm using Firefox (v24.4.0 ESR) mode to fullscreen HTML5 with two screens or a tiling window manager. The problem is, every time the browser window loses focus, Firefox let full screen.

It seems that it was possible to address this problem by setting the ' fullscreen - api .exit-on-disable ' in ' subject: config', but only up to what Firefox version 21.0 [1]. The option is gone, and even he created manually does not work.

The web search gave no way to achieve this in a recent version of Firefox. Does anyone know how to get Firefox to stay full screen mode when you leave the accent?

    Hi all

In our application, there is a 'Print' button which will take the printscreen and add it to a report. Now that we have improved the system works in several monitors, I could not yet find a way to printscreen only the specified monitor.

PS. : Normally whenever we do that PrtScr, it will take the image of all the monitors and not a single monitor. Alt + PrtScr print only the active window, but not all windows of this monitor.

How do you the printscreen? I think that you simulate a command 'Ctrl + print' and read the image of the cilpboard. I have corrected the AAM?

  • Merge devices with multiple network interfaces

    Hello

Is it possible to add several interfaces to a device network, but merged into a single device?

For example, we have a lot of HP and Dell servers that have usually a network interface and an interface of management (ILO or iDRAC).

It would be useful to be able to add two interfaces while having them mapped on the same server in NMS. The network interface would show us the availability on the network and the management interface may alert us hardware problems via SNMP.

Anyone knows if this is possible, or do we need to have more than one entry for each server?

    Thanks in advance

    Ewan

    Hi Ewan,

If the INVESTIGATION period is not recognized by the operating system, we most likely would not be able to draw the individual IP addresses of the ILO or the iDRAC. You can present this as a feature request in the ideas of the community section.

  • Want to Phoenix h9: HP Envy H9 Phoenix - multiple monitors

No Windows 10 option above, but it's a question that began with Windows 8 and continues with Windows 10.

I have a h9 Phoenix envy that I am very satisfied, but have had trouble with multiple monitors.  I can't find any documentation on the adding more than two monitors.  I have one running on the HDMI connector and another through the DVI.  But the addition of a third monitor became a mystery.  There are two additional DVI connections, but both were covered and when the updated seem to be connected to anything internal.  They are somewhat obscured by the food, and I'd rather not shoot to see the back side, I don't have to.

Then, there are two additional Minies connections on the same card that DVI and HDMI connectors that I use on the first two monitors.  However, I can't find any documentation on the mini type connectors (like maybe mini DVI) I can find no cable to adapt.

Is there something in the BIOS that must be returned to activate more ports?  Three monitors is not an option in the configuration current/components?  Can I add another video card supporting three monitors?  I have the AMD Radeon HD series 7900 graphics card.

It seems a waste to throw away when it works so well otherwise!  He performmed flawlesly with the migration of Windows 10 and could last a little longer.

    @HawkeEye

I suggest that you try an what AMD approved DP to HDMI adapter activewhich also works with AMD EyeFinity.

There may be a ' I gottcha "If the AMD 7900 is an OEM HP card. HP in the past has used decorum for AMD graphics cards drivers so using a retail AMD driver could be a problem, or it might work.

  • Cannot set a primary monitor with 2 monitors

OK, here's the situation. I have two monitors, a 22 "widesceen LED and a 32" LCD screen, I have the smallest monitor connected via DVI and the cotyledon connected via HDMI. Whenever I plug the big one HDMI, he succeeded to the main screen and does not allow me to make the smaller monitor the primary monitor. This is because the primary monitor option is grayed out and I can't check it. So far, I am aware of the vista updates and also up-to-date with the graphics drivers. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Venom,

    Method 1

I suggest you to check if the value for both monitors screen resolution are the same. You can try to set the same for both monitors screen resolution and check if it works very well. Access the link below and follow the steps to change the screen resolution.

    Method 2

If the steps above do not help, you may contact the manufacturer of the computer and check with the BIOS to display settings and adjust it accordingly.

NOTE: Changing the BIOS / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. • Move windows between multiple monitors

    Move windows between multiple monitors

You can easily extend your Windows desktop across multiple monitors. A display that spans two monitors or more significantly increases your screen area so that you can drag windows and program icons anywhere on the desk of theextended.

By default, when you connect another monitor, the image of your desktop appears on each monitor display. Before you can drag a window from one display to another, you must change your display setting toExtended. For more information, see Set up multiple monitors.

I can't do it in my compuer whay?

You can't do that if you are under Vista Home Basic.

  • How to lock the desktop icons in a multiple monitor configuration

Original title: lock the desktop icons - and display

Working with Windows 7 Home Premium has a problem processing 2 pieces: no matter how many times I said I want the display screen appears on the monitor, the screen of the computer, every day he arbitrarily returns to the computer screen only. That creates the 2nd problem: the desktop icons that I have arranged for the largest monitor rearrange themselves to adapt to the computer screen. Is there a way I can lock the icons in this position that I used to be able to do? Or is it possible that I can keep the display to go back to the computer screen? (I'm careful to apply the instructions to display before the specified seconds elapse).

    Hello

I suggest you to go through the steps mentioned in the link and the Coachman.

On a system running Microsoft Windows 7, the desktop icons can be moved to positions at random during another monitor main screen.
