4500 photo quality

I use a printer Officejet 4500 G510g on Windows 8 machine.  I tried to print a photo on advanced HP, 4 x 6 Photo paper.  I tried to use the best quality and quality time normal and bot I get a very stained photo. Almost, it looks like too much ink on paper and is wet with ink.  I cleaned the thing same ink jets. Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

Hi kenparnell,

Looks like a hardware problem, not a problem with the settings in the program you are printing from.

Please use the following document and let me know how it works. Troubleshooting print quality problems.

It could be the combination of paper ink, good fishing according to my research, I would recommend the HP Advanced Photo Paper, as it appears to be available in the United Kingdom.

  • Photo quality poor when you import the slideshow in items 10

    Hello

I use elements and Photoshop Elements 10 on Vista.

What I'm trying to do, this is a slideshow that I made in Photoshop in a film that I make the slide show appears as a menu item and I don't have to include a separate for importing images drive. I have sucessfully imported, added the menu marker and the drive works, but the photo quality is really crappy. When I play the slide show on its own, the pictures are very good. What Miss me?

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to the forum.

    They work on several levels:

    1. A subscriber comes with a problem or issue, and then, I hope someone will have an answer
    2. A subscriber comes with a problem or issue in mind and then searches for other threads, very similar and I hope that receives the response
    3. A Subscriber has been read, looking for ideas, etc.

In your case, it seems that # 2 worked, just as it should.

As for your question, PrE can produce slideshows for display of DVD video, as good as it gets. Videos / commercial DVD enter into a different area, with video footage, with the movement. There, Hollywood uses a special transcoding software, which allows a lot, much more past to identify areas of movement, to transcode just the right speed for best results. Before the fact that with but two passes, in contrast to the programmes of US $500,000, composed of highly qualified experts, who have nothing other than transcoding, throughout the day. PrE is limited in this regard, but with a slideshow, it will be able to apply the higher speed (DVD-specs. are strict here, therefore, flow well higher = more high quality, DVD-video can go only so far.) Also, Hollywood uses DVD-9 (DL) so that more time can be created on a disk, to the highest permitted speed, for each segment of the video. With a slide show, the throughput will be higher than the DVD specifications. allow and by the length of the slideshow vs the disk capacity.

Now, there are a few other considerations, such as the limited range of colors and Gamma of DVD-video vs displayed on a calibrated monitor or a calibrated broadcast monitor. Must study this limited and different color range and perhaps adjust the colors first, in Photoshop. Pre is not designed for the output of the show, so doesn't have many tools, which has PrPro. In addition, very few users PrE have a broadcast monitor calibrated for the color adjustment. Finally, even though it has produced the ultimate result, with a full understanding of the range of colors and used a perfectly calibrated broadcast monitor, unclear what will be the calibration of the monitor of the client (PC or TV). Which is perfect on a broadcast monitor calibrated would look great when installing the client, or maybe not. A Broadcast engineer can only adapt to the standards and hope for the best when the disc strikes the public. Ditto for the Audio. Who knows what can read DVD-Video "Aunt margin"?

For ultimate results, I would create a montage with some Images, but with each adjusted slightly differently in Photoshop. Add a title, like a lower third, with the color and Gamma settings to each version, maybe variations 5, which are slightly different. PS allows you to adjust the colors and Gamma in many respects, so Explorer. Then, this timeline for DVD-video, using high quality media, the author and test it on their DVD player/TV Setup. See which version looks the best and the specificities of this title. To process the actual Images yet for DVD slide show.

Don't forget, if you put things up ideally, they will be calibrated their system and Photoshop. Photoshop is a color managed work space, things will be, as good as it gets. DVD-Video and TV are NOT color managed workspaces and most consumers TV is out of calibration, having just the generic parameter of the factory. Nothing can be done about it.

As mentioned above, if the reading is for a computer (not a DVD player and TV), then better color and Gamma could be achieved by an AV file and then burn that to a DVD Data disk, for delivery. However, there are still variables of the customer's computer, his monitor and even the player the software used. Play a large role in how this AV file will play for them.

Good luck, and I wish there was an answer "relentless", on how to achieve the ultimate results, but there are so many variables involved.

  • HP Envy 4500: HP Envy 4500 - photo print half off the page. Print very well.

All of a sudden, my HP Envy 4500 failed to print all the images; documents continue to print OK.  For photos, the printer acts like it's works fine to start, but print only about half of the photo on the paper - it seeks to print the rest on the back of the photo a lot of ink rollers...

Research forums, this is the EXACT problem I have:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/inkjet-printing/HP-envy-4500-prints-only-half-of-the-photo/TD-p/3781222

I have uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, try to print from a different computer, laptop and even tried what was suggested in the post above - to copy a picture of the scanner on the printer itself.  Who printed still only half of the picture...

The consensus from the link above was a hardware problem.  My printer is no longer under warranty, so unless there is another thing I can try I will buy a new printer.   This one isn't worth it for me to pay to ship somewhere to remedy.

Any last suggestions until I have this gift to local traffic (with a note that it only prints documents)?

  • 8600 photo quality?

I'm trying to decide on buying a HP 8600, but get contradictory reports on its quality photo printing. Someone first hand experience with photos and what do you think?

  • Photo quality Xperia compact z3

Hi there... just playing with my camera and reading about problems people are having. I initially thought shit how the camera was after looking at my photos in the "PHOTOS" application Then I saw in 'ALBUM' (which I don't remember if I've downloaded or has been included) in any case, the pictures are great now. In addition, simply by using the preview window bit when you're in the actual application of the 'CAMERA', also shows that I have good quality photos. Maybe the camera still has flaws, but I speak only the desperate crappy resolution when you use the 'PHOTOS '. Hope this helps

Hi there... yes I restarted in safe mode. Exactly the same problem. The "photos" application shows very bad quality photos that I've taken to mp 8-20. The other app 'album' is fine. As it is the preview of the photos when you use the "camera".

  • In plain paper Photo quality is terrible...

    Hello

First of all, excuse me my bad English.

I have a Photosmart Premium C309g, and I have problem with printing photos using plain paper. The colors are horrible.

If I print a normal document, such as a table excel with graphics, the colors are correct.

If I print a photo that the glossy paper, the quality is excellent. Perfect. I used the paper provided with your printer.

However, if I print the same photo for a plain paper, the colors are little different. I'll try to explain: it's like red is a little more pink, Brown had a little yellow, some white - as in the shade - go blue... It's like the right color but incorrect tone (?).

I know, it's hard to explain but I really need help.

I tried the new installation of driver using a laptop and the same thing happen.

I tried new cartridges (the old cartridges still have ink) but the same thing happen.

I tried to clean the print head using the Toolbox of the printer, but nothing changes, except the ink level.

My old HP 1510 print photos perfectly plain paper

The problem also happens on Linux...

Windows 7 x 64 / latest version of the drivers.

When printing on photo paper, that the photo black ink is used, the normal black is used for plain paper.  The question that you see may be due to the normal black print does not correctly.

See thesteps in this troubleshooting documentation.  In Solution 6, colors appear correct?  If the troubleshooting steps in the page above do not correct the problem, then thepage here can solve the problem

  • Want to printer 4500: 4500 photos of cultures of phone

I am trying to print pictures directly from my phone in the form of 3 x 5 cards, but they come out with quite a lot of the image cropped instead of the whole photo, how do I change the settings to get the majority of the printed photo?

    Hello

Because of differences in proportions between the phone and the media of photography, there is always a level of culture.

To get more options like adjusting α page and other options of cropping that you will get close to the result desired, hoefully please download the hp eprint app and print from the app.

  • Locked photo quality color

    Hello world

I would like to know if there is a way to color grade clips in a timeline first and ensure that nothing moves around (locking of the photo).

    Any suggestions?

    See you soon,.

    Sanne

I can understand the concerns of the OPs, it's too easy to accidentally over a clip, especially if "selection follows plays head" is on. I have a number of shortcut keys that slide titles and I know something get uttered without realizing. I put in a feature request for a 'locking in time clip' option, similar to that of the hearing, to prevent the movement of locked elements.

  • HP Envy 4504: Envy 4504 photo prints too red with print quality = better

    Hello

    I hope someone can help.

On my HP Envy 4504 photos are printed OK print normal quality, but when the print quality is set to best photos are printed to the red. In addition, with DPI Maximum printing photos are much too red.

This takes place two times printed on paper Normal and on Photo paper

With the GIMP, I tried to make an example of how a photoprint looks like.

I made the example by changing the color Balance: Red cyan - about + 40:

    (my GIMP is Dutch...)

    Here is the result:

LEFT: Photo printed in normal quality; Photo on the RIGHT printed in better quality:

I have already completely remove the software HP Envy and did a clean reinstall. No change.

I have print-head - cleaning cycles (2 times); color of HP-testprint strips looks very good: all are strong in alignment is correct

Unfortunately: No picture change in best quality still too red.

    The ink levels are okay.

Any suggestions what is wrong and what can solve this problem?

    Thank you for your support

    Kees-Jan Timmer
