• Epson printer driver does not appear in the printer & Scanner window

  I downloaded the latest driver for my Epson Artisan 50 printer OS 10.11.5. I ran the installer, and it seems that the installation was successful. But when I am preferences system-> printers and Scanners and click the + to add the new printer, it does not appear in the list 'Add '. How ca I add the driver to my preferences printers and Scanners?

  You do not add a printer driver for printers and Scanners.  You add the printer itself.

  The Epson Artisan 50 is not a printer capable of AirPrint, as shown here:

  Regarding this issue to the legend, I installed HP Print and Scan doctor, but it did not work. There is no error message, printing "section" of the printer works fine. This a personal desktop use laptops via USB connection.

  Thanks for posting a picture of your scanned document.  It seems that your scanner has went out completely.

  If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it and she is treated, it will give you the printers warranty information, a file number and the phone number to call. • How can I get my scanner HP scanjet 4670 for work with W7?

  I have a HP Compaq nx6310 laptop originally supplied with Windows XP. I recently upgraded to W7 OS and now I can't start my HP 4670 scanner. When I look at the driver updates, I find there is no driver for this hardware with W7, but the same scanner model is still on the market. I tried to go back to XP, but the original windows.old folder is no longer there so I told myself that I can't come back. Help!

  Sorry, I should have stated that my OS is Win 7 Pro 64-bit.  I have a C4100 and a scanner HP C4400 HP doesn't seem to have any drivers that would work on 64-bit.   I decided to install the virtual XP on my Dell XPS700 with Win7 Pro 64 bit OS.  That worked really well as I can boot normally and then go start the virtual XP and I managed to download the latest version of the software and drivers for XP in this virtual drive.   This allows me to do what I want with a scanner and I use the HP software to control everything.  I'm tired of a program called VueScan that I bought as he said he would work but discovered it was worthless.  So I ended up going the virtual XP mode as a way to continue to communicate with my two scanners.  Works very well.

  I will go back and check the HP website and maybe they decided to update their drivers (but I doubt of this kind).  Found the same problem with my card its Creative X - fi.  There is absolutely no driver for Win7 Pro 64-bit.   They have recently released some drivers supporting same Win 8 64 bit, but they don't work well.  Ended up getting a new card SBx creative and it works beautifully.  Businesses do not seem to care about existing systems more! :-(

  Try the following.

  Method 1: Run automated troubleshooting and check if it helps.

  Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

  Method 2: Download and install the latest drivers for the scanner. Log on to the Web site of the manufacturer for the same thing.

• I was using WIA in Photoshop Elements because of problems with my scanner HP ScanJet sudden 4200C window. With the help of my scanner HP through WIA worked very well. Now I have problems analysis with either WIA or the window of the HP scanner.

  When I finally tried to solve the initial problem scanner HP in resettlement of the disk to scan, I kept getting the message that it was not compatible with Windows 95 or 98. But I have Windows XP.  So I finally downloaded and installed scanner drivers, software and upgrades on HP website. Well, the works of scanner, but now there are new problems.  1 - once the hp scanner window is displayed by clicking on import through Scanner HP, most of the menu at the top of the window items is not available. For example, I go to settings and all that is now available is to scan in color. There are 5 other options I should be able to click on, for example, resolution.  And I need that.  I thought, no problem, I'll just use WIA as before, as well as the WIA window came much faster than the HP one.  Problem 2 - in elements, I can go to WIA, but it says "NO compatible WIA devices have been detected."  That's happened?  I tried to go into Panel, scanners and cameras, add a device... but he could not find the scanner and of course, he cannot read the HP disc because of the inconsistent message of windows 95-98 (on my Windows XP computer!).  Can - I just uninstall my scanner and if I make the WIA will be able to find it after that?  I do not understand how I could use WIA and now I can't.  I know it has something to do with that I downloaded and installed at HP, but what?  I hope someone can help.  I have a huge project that I'm trying.

  Thank you for your message.  It seems that when you have downloaded and installed the driver from the HP website, you cannot have downloaded and installed the updates as well.  Click HERE to open the HP website and download the appropriate files.  Below, I will give an overview of what you need to download and install in order.
  1 ScanJet 4200C/Cse/Cxi PrecisionScan LT software/driver
  2 HP PrecisionScan LT for ScanJet 4200 c Scanner update. This update allows the parser to work under Windows XP.
  3. all three updates, in no particular order.

  Best is to forget them.

  You could manually change the in the registry however best left alone.

AND BAMMM, WE WENT!  It seems NOW I MUST IMPORT EACH PHOTO ON MY $ GB SD CARD that IS IN THE CAMERA... NOT TO CHOOSE WHAT I WANT TO IMPORT! I CALLED WINDOW AND THEY WANT THE SAME MONEY OF ME TALKING ON THE PHONE! THE $ LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS % WE HAVE OWNED IN THE LAST * YEARS WASN'T ENOUGH!   I WILL NOT BUY! WINDOWS ANYTHING NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER IF I DON'T GET THIS TREATY! • ScanJet G4050: Cannot install full software for my scanner G4050 on Dell XPS 8900 Win 7

  When I try to install the downloaded software installation tells me that it cannot find any USB hardware or the USB drivers.

  When I plug the scanner Windows installs it and shows in display devices and printers.

  I can click on it and it will scan a picture, but gives me no control on what I might be scanning.

  I unplugged the USB cable from the scanner to the computer, removed the printer from devices and printers and tried to reinstall the software.  Still no joy.  I have no problem with other USB devices.

  Any help appreciated.

  Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended.
