  I'm having this problem where, after having been edited for between 30-45 minutes, audio playback and program monitor freezes, but I can still move the playhead.   First load the shared library QuickTime as a child process, and when you kill the application via Task Manager, it will remain in memory, preventing a second copy of loading. You have to kill the child process manually, how you can restart the first without the need to restart your computer.

  If you haven't already, I recommend the installation Process Explorer from Microsoft - https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/processexplorer.aspx - and using the tree "kill processes" right click on the option. It will clean everything first has loaded into memory.

  Which driver version you have installed for your network (NIC) card?   This link shows a version of driver Vista/Win2008 6.216 (dated 2009/02/26) available.  The same driver should work as well for Win7.

  If the above does not resolve the problem, view the properties for the NETWORK adapter and temporarily disable all 'Task Offload"or other characteristics"discharge"to see if that helps.

• Why my (wired) laser mouse keeps freezing every 2-5 seconds and then turns off?

  I use Windows XP Professional SP3, and my (Genius NetScroll G500, USB) mouse keeps freezing every 2-5 seconds, until he "dies" (I can't move or something, it's like off). Sometimes, it works normally, sometimes doesn't. I don't really know what causes to keep freezing. This problem does not occur on Linux for now. I download the new updates, but I do not expect any kind of positive results, so please do not respond with driver update. Could you please tell me what to do to fix it properly? Note that the mouse is brand new, bought today.

  I use a dell inspiron e1505, with 149 hard drive GB, 2 GB of ram, XP Media edition. Currently, I have about 1% of free space left, but I'm trying to move files around my drives external hard so I can clear out space.
  First of all, the problem happened when I tried to work with a 35 min file was about 4 GB in size. After that, moviemaker completely freezes everytime I try to publish anything, including audio only files that are around 400-500 MB in size.
  Going to the menu options to see the types of codecs and file leads to freeze. It is important, shows the echoes in the fine sound bar, parts return very well, but when it freezes I have to end it with the Task Manager. Imports are not wrapped, only two files that were imported before firstly, it crashed with the big file I just mentioned.
  I tried reinstalling MM via the web, go to the file .inf and right click it, I tried to download Direct X and copying the files to my CD of microsoft, but none of it worked.
