Computer freezes black screen sound issues and

Original title: yahoo Messenger

I had never knowingly Yahoo Messenger, but a pop-up window appears asking me to accept or refuse the person. I don't want that. I went to your site and said to uninstall the program, received PC cleanup site. I did what was said, but have never informed if it was cancelled or if something happened. I had several problems with my laptop since the popup YM began.  for example: CURSOR FREEZE, FREEZE PAGE, BLACK SCREEN, SCREEN CHANGES to A DIFFERENT SCREEN WITHOUT MY DOING anything, MY SOUND is not WORKING ON THE VIDIOS.  I'm not technically oriented - I am 75 and just try to read my email and read the news.  I now have the PC Cleanup icon on my site.  How will I know if YM has been deleted?

So get a black screen after BIOS and before the Windows logon screen. I checked the RAM and one on two RAM sticks that was bad. But I still have the black screen. I tried an external monitor but still a black screen. I tried all the normal things (verification of the restore point disc, e.g. via the command prompt, startup repair, etc.) and no luck. I ran a test to check the hard drive, and it is impossible to find the hard drive. But then I ran AVG anti-virus, the AVG Live (bootable CD) and at the very start gave me this error: 106 error to the power of disk on life: 8768 (365 days + 8 hours) and underneath were basically the same error, just different numbers. But it still allowed me to run a scan and he was going through the files ok so she did not see the hard drive and files (contrary to the test of hard drive and yes the hard drive test was a bootable cd of same manf. like the hard drive), he found no virus. Even when I ran Defender in offline mode. Then I tried to re - install the operating system on the same drive with a cd. Then I took the drive from the laptop and install it in another laptop but she has done the same thing, black screen, so I thought it was the hard drive. But then I begin another hard drive from the laptop and put it in the laptop original and he gave me the black screen and I know that the hard drive was good, she was an operating system that starts when I put it in the not troubled laptop. • Start the computer to black screen and the computer runs hot

    original title: sick Vista laptop

My daughter portable computer began acting strangely very yesterday.

Once connected, I get a black screen and a cursor.  The system seems to work at full speed, because I can hear the fan, and it runs very hot.  No matter how long it sits, the desktop does not appear.

I can use Ctrl-alt-del to display the Task Manager.  The list of processes is limited to the process of the current user, and none of them use important CPU. If I click on 'See the process for all users', taskmanager freezes and I have to disconnect to get rid of him.

Using the Task Manager, I can kill the process Explorer and then start it again, date at which I get my desktop.  However, it is still running hot and noisy.  With the help of SysInternals ProcessExplorer, there is no process using any important CPU.  Most of the time CPU is reported as inactive.

I don't know what to think.  A boot loader took over the system?  A hardware problem?  OS corrupted files?

Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

  • rMBP 2015 freeze, black screen and reboot (Journal of kernel panic)

    Hello

For the last few weeks, I had a big problem with my rMBP 2015. Mac suddenly freezes and is not responding and I have to hard reboot (hold the power button / stop). The last time I waited a few minutes without reboot and the screen went black (keyboard stays on) and then it restarted. I received the error log after this: http://pastebin.com/XzR8BPdE.

I tried reseting PRAM, NVRAM, MSC, repair SSD in disk utility and repair permissions and about every 24 hours the same permission error occurred: http://pastebin.com/ZG1D1F4N. After repair of permissions that freezing problem seems to be solved, bot after another (approximately), he repeats, so it seems to be unrelated to the problem.

  • After playing the game the Sims 2, impossible to shut down the computer, get black screen

    Hi all

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and I recently installed the Sims 2 DVD Edition. The game itself works very well. He's not planting or lag or cause my computer is turned off. I can walk much and create characters; what I noticed is that some of the sound effects play, which is minimal.
However, after playing the game and I'm going to shut my computer down, the screen just goes black and the computer stays on. The processor will run nothing will work. The computer just stays, but the screen remains black. He doesn't even go to the "shutting down" screen or anything. Straight black. I let it stay like that for 15 minutes just to see if maybe, it was just to take some time, but the computer still shuts.
It normally stops if I do not play Sims 2.

I recently bought an HP computer refurbished not even 2 weeks ago: HPE140F

While playing world of Warcraft, the screen goes black and the screen goes into sleep mode.  There is also a strong buzz.

In addition, the CPU fan makes a lot of noise.

This is completely ridiculous.  I want a solution or this pos is going back to the store.

I am a customer very very unhappy.  Poor service, defective PC, nothing but problems.

You can mark this resolved.  I was ready to pack the PC up, when I remembered I had bought a video card Geforce 9 Series several months ago and never installed in my old computer.  I took a chance and installed in the HP.  Voila!  The machine now runs like a dream.  No noise noisy fan and he's playing my favorite games in 3D spectacular I contacted HP support and they conceed that it was probably a defective video card (I checked on the WOW forums, several people have played the game fine with the GeForce GT 230 and had no problems).  I'll send it in an Exchange and will try on my old pc I always around.

I will be in part with positive feedback, update of the card in the HP was extremely easy, indeed with the opening of the case the entire seemed well organized and easily extensible.  I plan to get a power of 500W Rocketfish and Im happy that it will be an easy installation.
