  These two devices will not be able to work together. The ScanJet uses a newer than the 5610 software the 5610 will not work with. However, Brandye will provide a definitive answer to whether the course 12 c would be acceptable for 11g certification.

  Try not to install the driver AMD after installed Windows 7. Go to your device manager to check if any driver under the graphics card. If there is no driver listed, please use search the hardware changes in the action button on the top. If there is a driver listed, please right click to update the driver.

  You can then run the HP Support Assistant to update your drivers.

  Also, check if all the Windows installed updates.

  Just to confirm what you already know, a compressed file LZ isn't human readable. Open in a Firefox tab will look like gibberish.
