• Video_TS folder missing after burning on a hard drive by using first elements 13

  I experienced some problems when you try to create a DVD from a film using first elements 13 project. After reading many past debates, I thought I had solved some, only to meet new problems. As follows:

  I was initially unable to burn a DVD from the film project, receives the message that burning DVDs has been "broken". This occurred during the encoding process that I believe, not in the real DVD writing, because it was early enough in the process. After reading the forums, I copied the project using the project archiver, to an external hard drive, since the internal drive was complete after subsequent attempts to burn (another problem). I moved all the video files off the internal drive to a backup, so there are currently 164 GB of free space. The project is on an external drive, as noted, with 1.42 free to. The size of the copied project folder is 100 GB. With the publication software + hand, I tried to burn to disk in a folder, in case there was a problem with the disc burner (conflicts w/3rd party software, etc., as stated in other discussions). The process still had to run at night, when checked, in the morning, there was a message that the burn has been completed. While they inspected the file where the Video_TS folder should have been (on the external hard drive), none were present. No where can I find the files. I then tried to burn on a DVD instead, but early in the process, got the message that the burn was "interrupted." again.

  As a side note, the adjustment disk feature that automatically compresses the video to the right size to fit in a 8.5 GB file or double layer DVD (which I use) repeatedly gave a message of low disk space. If I manually updated slightly higher compression, it would proceed with the burning. Strangely, after the Video_TS folder and the subsequent failed DVD burn, I tried another burn to DVD. In this case automatic compression does not result in the message of the lack of space and has helped with the burning to proceed, however, given the multitude of failures to date, I am not convinced that it will be successful.

  So my question is, what happened in the folder Video_TS should have been created (and a. According to the first to)? In addition, what is the problem and how to 'fix', or work around?

  Suggestions and ideas appreciated.

  System:

  Computer Dell Core i7 2.60 GHz

  8 GB RAM

  64 bit OS

  Windows 7 Professional SP1

  Adobe Premiere Elements 13

  First, go to the preferences (under Edit menu) and uncheck the hardware acceleration. This usually fixes this problem.

  Make sure that you save your files from the DVD to a folder on the directory in which there is no other files.

Everytime I open Adobe first items 10, a pop-up box appears saying that "a small set of content (Flash movies, titles and menus templates themes, etc.) has been installed.» You can install all the content by inserting your DVD content or download. You want to install now? YES/NO? I have also subscribed to $49 for 20 GB of storage, which makes me a member over a year. Any help would be appreciated thank you very much.

  Download a two files. A small end .exe, the other .7z, wide, fine. You must run the small .exe file and will decompress the .7z big file to the correct locations.

• Organize Clips edited in project using first Elements 4 Panel

  I use first elements 4.

  When I edit a clip in the timeline or in the Panel Monitor is possible now to put the clip in the project Panel and collect clips edited it the Assembly subsequently. I used Canopus Edius and you can assemble the clips in what is called the tray and then get back on the timeline.scenceline subsequently, makes for a nice workflow.

  I tried several times to drag the clip edited to the Edit/project Panel does not. I read the Help menu but it does not really address it.

  I'm not under any other software while doing this, I'm on 2 years, Dell with vista just FYI.

  It seems to me you can edit and place in the Panel project for later installation on timeline would make sense as a workflow? I looked at all the menu drop-down menus to try to move them as well but no luck?

  I know it must be something really simple anyone can help?

  We do a lot of editing on Edius but it's our backup system and we would like to do a simple task as described above. We then export them to a quicktime file and use the clips in another software called Proshow gold.

  All ideas are welcome.

  Pre 4.0 (may differ in future versions), Dbl-Click the Clip to open it in the Source monitor, set the Points In & Out, then drag it to the project Panel, where pre will give you the opportunity to appoint subclip trimmed.

  There are two ways to do this. The choice will be probably depends on what you have, and what else you can do with it.

  First of all, with your original Clip imported into your project and on your Timeline (that timeline view mode), simply adjust the WAB (work area bar) in the section, you want to share/Export. This article goes into details: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3762492#3762492

  Or, you can just use scissors/Razor tool, make all necessary cuts, then delete the portions you want removed, close any gaps. Then, just share/Export timeline of change.

  This is my first time using first Elements 10. After several hours of wondering why my video production was causing my video clips of jerk flutters, etc... I was told that my video camera was not compatible to Adobes Elements 10 software.

  I was told that I could get a program on the internet that would allow me to convert my video to a certain Codex that Adobe could read.

  I am in great need of what I'm doing a production before the end of the month.

  My camera is a Canon ZR50 MC digital video camera. It uses the mini DV tapes and AVI format.

  Any help on this would be appreciated.

  If you Capture from a cassette miniDV, via FireWire camera (a IEEE-1394 or iLink), pre, you don't need any other program. You don't convert anythiing, as PrE take the tape in a DV - AVI file.

  When you drag the Clips on the Timeline in a DV project (NTSC or PAL, depending on where you live and what your camera TV mode turned on), there should be no red line above the Clip.

  Now, if you add / change an effect, or add any form overlay, PiP, title, Transition, etc, red lines appearing above this Clip, or the part of the Clip, which is affected. It's normal.

  I was going to check something another user and noticed all Mac OS x versions dating back to Lion are marked as "Downloaded" tab purchases despite having removed installers there are chandeliers. Any thoughts?

  Never mind. I thought that if installers were removed from my iMac that they is marked as "Download". The installers have been saved on an external drive that the App Store can see apparently.
