  • Word of the file size: .docx converted in PDF format

    Hello

I use Adobe acrobat X pro and I need to convert a Word to PDF file to join with all do us commercial offers. The file size is important in order to limit the size of the mailbox content. At the moment my Word file is 25 and it's ok, but when I convert it the result is a 120 KB PDF... I did some research in the Acrobat community and they often explain to use "Save as other", but I do not have these (maybe it came with version XI).

I would like to know if anyone has an idea of what I can do with my version of acrobat to reduce the size of the file.

    Thank you

    Ben

PDF Optimization is not available in Std AFAIK. However, you asked on the conversion of a WORD file. The best way to keep the size down is to NOT use save them in Adobe PDF format. Who's using PDF Maker (the Acrobat in WORD menu) which adds tags and many other things that inflate a default PDF. If you do not use this option, then use preferences to disable the tags and other elements in the file (like all bookmarks and all the rest). The easiest way is to print to the Adobe PDF printer. Don't forget to keep your simple fonts. It is better to embed fonts when you send a PDF file to others (especially from PC to MAC Linux as the fonts on the system may be different). Don't use only not the smaller file size settings. Use Std as a minimum or press options or Print embed all the fonts as subsets. The MST is fine as long as people use Acrobat or Reader for viewing, but other viewers may not recognize the basic fonts Adobe.

  • page 34 000 excel file must be converted to pdf format

I have a page 34 000 excel file that I need to convert to PDF. The excel file is 13 mb. I use excel 2013 on Win 7.

In excel, I tried to save in pdf format.  It has never been completed.  I have let it run day and night, but it gets to 90 percent and crashes.

Last night, I tried to convert within Adobe (let it run all night) and found it crashed shortly during the night.

I really want it's a pdf because it is an excel file, and it would be simpler for traceability and verification purposes.

    My questions are:

    1. is there a limit of size or the maximum file page to conversions?

    2. any suggestions on how to convert into a pdf file?

    Thank you!!

I changed the size of page 11 x 17 in excel and managed to save as pdf in less than 30 minutes.  It brought the number of page down to about 15 or 16 000.

  • Remove file path when converting to PDF format?

Is there a setting somewhere that I can change so that when I convert a TXT or HTML file to PDF path does not appear on the bottom of each PDF page? Currently the conversion I get something along these lines of file:///F|/Folder/254126.txt[06-Aug-11 20:34:02] on the bottom in a font smaller than the rest of the page.

Is it possible to disable this or is just something I have to live with?

I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro.

Parameters for the conversion of the HTML and text pages are not in the preferences panel, they are buried in the web capture widget:

Open the tool pane > Pages > more Insert Options > create PDF from Web Page.

    Click on "settings".

Uncheck "headers to Place... ", click OK and then cancel to close the capture dialog box.

  • Stange whitebalance problem with CR2 files

    Hello

Ive been taking som underwaterphotos with my canon 50 d. However, it seems that there are problems with the cab to be able to interpret the CR2 or DNG file.

The photos have a green tint that I am unable to get rid.

If I treat the CR2 file in the converter of canons DPP, everything seems perfect.

I have no idea why this is. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a link to a CR2 file so that you look at.

    www.animato.dk/img_9116_cr2.zip

    And here's a DNG:

    www.animato.dk- IMG_9116.zip

Ive posted this problem in lightroomforums but it seems that it is a matter of ACR.

    http://www.lightroomforums.NET/index.php?topic=7879.0

    Thanks for your help

The problem is that the WB in ACR scale extends as far down as needed. However, all is not lost because you can use the DNG Profile Editor format to extend the timescale. See Tutorial 4 for an explanation of how to go on this subject http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/DNG_Profiles:Editor #Tutorials

  • Lightroom CC & DNG Converter cannot open the CR2 files, but Photoshop CC can?

    Hi guys,.

I have a problem with raw on this computer files and I can't understand why. I can open my. In Photoshop CC CR2 files, but the same files are not readable by Lightroom or Adobe DNG converter. Lightroom says "files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom", and the converter DNG said "source folder contains no raw files of any supported camera."

All software is updated to the date of this post. The. CR2 files come out a cannon 80 d and a Canon 7 d and are not corrupt (as evidenced by the fact that Photoshop has no problem to open). Other raw files that have been imported directly from cameras, or that were copied from the camera memory cards a different machine, then transferred to the machine in question were very well. Other machines have no problem with those files, either. It is something specific to the software installed on this machine and how it is configured, and I'm at a loss as to what could be the cause of it.

At one point, app Windows photo was accidentally set as default application to open CR2 files. This may have been when the problem started, but I can't say for sure. Whatever it is, this problem has been fixed; Lightroom is now set as the default application for CR2 files. The machine was also installed on CaptureOne (since it is uninstalled) and he had the same problems with these raw files.

Before you reinstall Windows, someone at - it suggestions?

Suggest your Camera Raw (used by Photoshop, but not Lightroom) is 9.5.

In Lightroom, click Help > topic. Must they be 2015.5.1 if you are up-to-date. You need at least 2015.5 for 80 d files.

    The. CR2 files come out a cannon 80 d and a Canon 7 d

You mean the 7 D Mark II? The 7 d is an old camera since 2009.

Can I convert a CR2 file to a jpeg in Lightroom?

    Loc

But you can EXPORT a derived JPEG file by using the export module.

Then you have your CR2 intact original raw file and a JPG file which can show all your developing or editing work done in Lightroom.

(files raw, CR2, NEF, etc., are not pixel images! and cannot be changed in the same way as the 'pixel' files JPG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, etc., can be.)

  • New to Lightroom, import of raw CR2 files problem.

I am new to Lightroom and can't import my raw CR2 photo files. In the section "import", I select my SD card that contains the raw image files. All the map .jpeg files appear as thumbnails, but the CR2 files show "extract not available for this file. I select one of the thumbnails CR2 anyway, select a folder on my external hard drive and click on "import". A window pops up that says: "this file is not recognized by the format of raw support in Lightroom." I use Lightroom 4.4 and works with a Windows Vista operating system (on a laptop old, junky). My camera is a Canon 70 d and am shooting in RAW + JPEG. I also downloaded the Adobe software. DNG Converter 6.3 to try to convert the files before importing them into Lightroom and it is also not recognizing and import my CR2 files. Don't know what to do at this point. Any suggestions?

I would recommend download DNG Converter 8.2 which is compatible with Vista.

The latest version 8.6 requires W7 and W8

    Use this download link:

  • I have a 80 d but iPhoto, Lightroom 5 & Photoshop will not import RAW (CR2) files

I just bought n 80 d and was happy with the possibility of processing the RAW (CR2) files, but all my photo programs will not import the files, because they are not recognized. iPhoto, Photoshop and Lightroom 5.  I'm under Maverick on my Mac.  Strange thing however, Image Capture will import them. Any suggestions?

The 80 d is a bit too new.  It is normal that updates camera RAW trolling a few months.

I see that Adobe does support your camera if you upgrade to Lightroom CC.  See: http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2016/03/camera-raw-9-5-now-available.html

As for Apple, you can see a big difference between updates of the Mavericks:

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201071

vs updates for El Capitan (Mavericks is two complete versions behind):

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT205272

Even though Apple has not yet released the Digital Camera RAW for the 80 D update, I'm pretty confident that you will find that you have to upgrade to get to El Capitan.  BTW, OS updates are free from Apple.  Just launch your app 'App Store' and check the updates and you should see which indicates that an upgrade of the OS is available for you.  (Apple has stopped selling updates of the BONE several years ago.)

  • Issues of Lightroom import of cr2 files

Recently, we went on vacation to Europe where I downloaded a cr2 file folder on my laptop of cousins in lightroom. I've never played change them but I export them on my hard drive. I am now trying to import them into lightroom on my laptop and lightroom tells me there is no file to show but there are all appearing in the shadows in the background, everything is not accessible. Any ideas on how to solve this problem by any chance? Cheers Chris

This means that photos have already been imported into Lightroom, and there is no need to import them again. Just go in the library Module, find pictures and use them in any way you want (editing, printing, electronic mail, etc.)

  • 5.7 Lightroom suddenly stopped to recognize CR2 files

Another thread has proposed to change the permissions on the folder of "read/write, but change the permissions to write the solution did not work." I have even converted the CR2 files to DNG with the adobe DNG Converter, synced my file and it acknowledges at the start files, but when you select Import, it gives the same extensible error-

"Could not copy a file at the location requested. (322)

    /Volumes/Archives1and3/RawArchiveIII/RawArchive3/raw/Shreve_201609050291.DNG

    /Volumes/Archives1and3/RawArchiveIII/RawArchive3/raw/Shreve_201609050292.DNG

    /Volumes/Archives1and3/RawArchiveIII/RawArchive3/raw/Shreve_201609050293.DNG

    / Volumes/Archives1and3/RawArchiveIII/RawArchive3/RAW/Shreve_2016090502... »

I also deleted the file .plist permission with the same result.

I'm on MacOS 10.7.5 (my 32-bit system will work later) and the use of LR 5.7, later this operating system is running.

I don't understand what has changed suddenly causing this problem, it worked fine last week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As I said in the other thread, changing permissions did not work because (a mistake very frequent), you have changed the permissions on the wrong file. Show us screenshots of the section permissions on this specific folder and Destination of the import dialog box.

  • Keep the dng or CR2 files when switching from Lightroom and Photoshop.

From Lightroom and Photoshop, how can I keep the dng or CR2 files. Now it changes the psd and when I return to Lightroom it removes options in the section of Calibration of the camera, so that while I have a choice (Adobe Standard/camera faithful), after returning from Photoshop file I have "Embedded." How can I keep the dng or CR2 files

Adding to the good advice of Alfred - a raw file cannot be registered as the other files.

Its only use is the basis for the creation of new files, which must be regular files, such as tiff, psd or jpg.

When you edit a raw file in Lightroom, it does not change the file, the changes are written to the catalog.

Optionally, save the changes in the form of metadata (xmp) sidecar files, or in the case of DNG in the file itself.

  • Lightroom will not import the cr2 files

I'm trying to import CR2 files in Lightroom and it is said that "certain import operations were conducted not.» The following files were not imported because they could not be read", then it will display the file name. I saw on the forum where it is perhaps a mistake to write, but I don't know where to go to change these settings. I use an iMac on the latest OSX and the most up-to-date CC. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not an expert with the product.

You go to your operating system (Mac Finder) and change the permissions on the folder to READ & WRITE permission. Which folder? The folder specified in the import in Lightroom under Destination dialog box.
