6 days years Samsung Mega 6.3 - Skype will not complete the connection process

I downloaded Skype on my Samsung Mega 6.3 new since I use Skype at work for messaging and want to be able to use it on my new phone like I did on my previous (iphone 4) when you work remotely.

After entering my microsoft account information, it tries to connect, but starts a loop where it climbs from the home screen to the loading screen and back Skype, constantly.

If I press the back button, it will make starting Skype and considered as being active on my header bar, but if I try to pull up, we start the loop.

Phone AT & T. cannot change my APN settings, so change my proxy to 0 will not fix the problem.

Have you tried to empty cache. No help.

Have deleted and reinstalled several times now (I think I'm on 5).

Ideas people? Or I'll just have to in the loop and wait for the next update to use this great software?

Looks like the update today resolved my problem. I can now use Skype without any problems.

  • The update of Skype is not on the Windows Store for me

I have Skype for Windows Desktop. However, a few months ago he began to say "Time to download the new update" with a button redirect me to the windows store. However... the windows store had no update. At this point, I used the online client. However, the online customer has been recently removed. I can not download Skype for windows, do I have to use the desktop or online. What should I do to get the new update of Skype to show up in the windows store?

Skype on Windows Store has been disabled, on 7 July, last year.

  • Skype will not be installed

A month ago (or more), I wanted to update my client Skype to the latest version. The downloaded installation program, seems to start installing and then stopped with the message:
"We have problems connecting to download server. .
" To download an alternative installer for Skype, click on the"Download"button."

Needless to say I did it and ended up in the same window with the same message.

Initially, I tell myself that it had network problems, with Skype or my ISP. I tried the next day and then a few days later and then began to realize the problem was elsewhere.

This system is currently running Windows 7 64 bit, with IE11 (v11.0.9600.17501 with update 11.0.15 - KB3008923). I have since uninstalled Skype, thinking that the previous version was preventing the installation. There is currently no Skype on the machine, but I don't see that there still remains of preference files, etc. on the machine under various folders "user\name\AppData". I can't imagine that these would prevent the installation.

I tried a number of different things:

    1. Used IE and Chrome (Version 39.0.2171.95 m) to download and try to install it. NOTE: The installation files download with success, "SkypeSetup.exe" and "SkypeSetupFull.exe", one according to your tent since. But neither finished their installation.
    2. I did not download management software, and I tried both disabling local firewall and disable the anti-virus software. The firewall on the router is not a problem, because the other computers within our home network have no problem download and install later (so he was installing successfully on other machines).
    3. I took the files (once again both) from another machine and tried to run the install locally on that machine. Same fruitless results.
    4. Just in case there was a problem of confidence and a problem with my root certificates, I downloaded and reinstalled the (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931125). Still nothing.
    5. I also ran the two files separately as an administrator on the computer. No difference.

If it is clearly evident that it is machine specific. I can not for the life of understand me what the problem is and why the installation will not end, nor why the message about problems connecting to download server would come, especially once I have already downloaded the installer! Can someone suggest something useful? Is there a Setup log that I can see to help pin point the issue?

    Your help is appreciated!

Try with this installer for the currently most recent version of Skype 7.0.0.102:

I used Skype with no problems until today.

  • Skype will not connect / Connect.

I'm unable to connect to Skype. When I try, it just sits at the signing in the screen for 5-10 minutes and then told me that Skype could not connect. I tried several different suggestions for articles, I've read. Weather it be to clean the registry, uninstall/re-install, reset of internet connection, the ports/ip setting, firewall reset. None of them have worked for my question. Help, please. :/

Note that the port number for incoming connections must not be empty.

If you have previously set Proxy connection options, then these parameters should be removed from Windows registry too.

You can try to run the PolicyFix.exe tool to clear the registry:

When I tried to use Skype recently he wouldn't correctly. As soon as I try to run the program it turn for a few seconds in the background, then kill yourself. What I did is to uninstall. Update my OS computers. and have deleted the files/registry settings. Reinstall the version complete Skype and still have the same question. Any suggestions on what to do next?

You have several virtual video capture applications installed and the latest versions of Skype work well with these applications. There is no physical webcam installed.

    Video source from Kinoni

    EpocCam

    [JPEG/MJPEG] IP camera

    FaceRig virtual Cam

    WOWebcam

You can start with uninstalling the application IP camera, for sure, which would cause Skype to crash.

  • Windows will not let me connect on Skype

    Hey guys,.

I bought a new computer from Windows 8 nice a few months ago and also installed Skype.

I had a Skype account for a long time and I have used many.

Until a few weeks ago, I couldn't get into Skype anymore.

If I click on Skype icon on my screen, it will open, but then immediately he asks for my password and asks me to connect with my microsoft account.

But I just want to connect with my Skype account, because I am not fond of linking all your accounts to another, but also why there are different programs.

So there is a button that says: log each application separately.

But that does no good because I can not yet connect here with my Skype account.

Can someone tell me how I can connect with my SKYPE account.

I'm a little frustrated here and could use help

    Thank you

    Nike

In order to be able to connect with your Skype account, you must first install the desktop version of Skype. This is the same version that will launch on all previous Windows systems (XP, Vista, 7).

The currently most recent Skype 6.14.0.104 desktop version can be installed using the msi installer:

    http://download.Skype.com/MSI/SkypeSetup_6.14.0.104.msi
