# 61 HP ink cartridges: HP nine 61 black and tricolor cartridges are defective
I have a brand new game (61 black and tri-color) ink cartridges that are defective. They do not print properly when installed on my printer, I still have my receipt and the expiration on the box is August 2016. It must be deefctive cratridges because I bought new cartridges and they work fine.
How can I return it for a refund or an excvhange? Thank you.
The store (Best Buy) said I have to go through HP for the Exchange/refund.
You mention Best Buy so I guess you're the Canada or the United States. If they are HP cartridges (not third party rebuilt or filling) and then call HP to 1-800-HPINVENt. If you reside outside the United States or the Canada see contact information here.

I was happy with my officejet 4635 until I clicked on ok to apply for the HP firmware update. He said that it would improve my printer. However, demand has not said that my ink cartridges may not work if I installed the update. I clicked on ok and the update has been successfully installed. Now I can't print anything because I get an error message saying the I have ink cartridges are designed for older versions of the product. I do not use the new HP cartridges because they cost too much. I used cartridges refilled abacus in Az. Phhoenix which worked fine up until I did the update of the firmware of HP. I need to go back to the old system, so I can print again. I am connected to a desktop computer HP envy running windows 8.1. I'm furious HP to try and force you to buy their new cartridges with an update of something. I think that whoever came up with this update should be fired. Any help with a solution would be appreciated.
I was told that there is no way to undo the update of the firmware. HP did send me a few ink cartridges so I could print again, but I am still ticked about the way this has been ensured by HP. They have not told me that my old version cartridges would not more work after updating firmware. I think that it is simply dishonest on part of HP and I am sure that other customers have been captured by this update of the firmware. I am sure it was a HP effort going to force you to use their new cartridges. I'll be very careful on the acceptance of the updates from HP in the future.

I finally got CS2 installed on my system. But now the drop-menu background color is black and the elements are not visible until the cursor is over them. It is very difficult to read. How can I change this? I tried to go into change preferences but it does not work

Many IIC printers will not print (work) when a (whole) depleted cartridge. Some still unable to print, but a tiny snail. In short, you must purchase the new color ink.

Hello
Turn the printer off
Unplug the printer from the computer and the wall outlet
Reinstall the cartridges
Support all the ink cartridges until they snap into place to make sure that they are well housed
Close the cartridge cover and push it down until it snaps
Close the scanner
Press on the Stop button to start loading of ink. It takes about 2 minutes.
When the the light stops flashing and remains on, the ink load is complete
Caution: Never turn off the Epson Stylus CX while ink is in charge or you'll be wasting ink.
If the ink light flashes, press on the Stop button and lower all the cartridges safely
Manually clean the print heads
Plug the printer into the wall outlet and the computer. Turn it on and try printing again.

Why can I not use the scanner function if my ink cartridges are not installed properly?
The scanner allows just as one scanner I have another product of HP that I use for my printing needs? My all in one (C4580) there is an error that indicates that the ink cartridges have not been installed correctly. I have not used this printer as printer in a long time, but use it as my primary scanner. Is there anyway I can overide the "Cartridghe Print badly installed" so I can use the scanner function? With most of the printers HP if there is a visible error on the printer screen it only lets not to copy, scan or fax.

My off brand ink cartridges are not recognized by my HP L25500

but my HP L25500 does not recognize. It is completely useless.
I went on many ink cartridges HP brand, who has always work without a single problem.
But now, when you try less expensive off-brand of ink, I can't have my HP L25500 to recognize the cartridges.
They are branded as G & G.
The cartridges look the same as the genuine HP cartridges, but they covered all the logo with their stickers.
Is there something I can do to get my HP L25500 to recognize cartridges?
The page you gave indicates that the products have a 90 day warranty, I suggest to contact the vendor for a replacement. HP does not guarantee the quality of third party products.

"Compatible" black and tricolor cartridges of HP 60XL online still not being accepted by D110a!
1. product name and number: HP Photosmart e-All-in-One D110a printer.
2 operating system installed (if applicable): Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
3. error message (if applicable): "Cartridge Incompatible."
4. all changes made to your system until the problem occurred: I literally lived "wringer" on this printer, trying to get all of the features to work.
Finally, after dozens of hours of troubleshooting, reconfiguring and update the D110a works well, but it will accept 60 HP ink cartridges but still will not accept HP 60XL cartridges I bought at HP year last online; the HP site where I bought cartridges listed 60 and 60XL ink than those available only compatible cartridges.
Any advice on how to force the D110a accept 60XL cartridge?
Any advice on how to proceed to get my money back or get HP to send me replacement 60XL cartridges that are compatible?
I feel ripped-OFF... and I do not think that HP will stand behind their product.

Cartridges are guaranteed for 2 years from the manufacturing date. I suggest that you contact support phone HP you may qualify for replacements.

All my black and white files (TIFF and jpg which are grayscale) have a purple slant and are darker in LightRoom CC (except for module development). They work fine on other programs such as PhotoShop, Picasa or other navigation applications. Lightroom Mobile works perfectly as well. I can't find a solution to my problem anywhere. You have a defective monitor profile.
Try to set the monitor to sRGB profile. If this solves the problem, you should ideally calibrate your monitor with a standard material.

Used this printer for months without problem until he ran out of color ink. Buy genuine HP color ink on amazon and replaced the empty color ink. Installed the latest driver. Printer seems to work fine except the rest blank page. HP Print and Scan Doctor 4.9 finds no errors, no problem. Cleaning print head. Aligned printhead printed normal test result on the page. Fix! The printer will not work without INSTALLING cartridges. All cartridges installation, do not wrote on the side, but those that come with the printer do most of the time.
What happened after a few steps, after re - clean cartridges and unplugged the power? Same result?

Something blue prints as a pink/purple color. Recently replaced the Cyan cartridge. No other cartridge is the replacement level yet.

As indicated in the document "If there are still defects on the page after the print head has been cleaned once, go to solution to replace one or two print heads."
