6520e Photosmart printer: my PC can't find my wireless HP Photosmart 6520 e printer

My printer was working fine on my home network for more than a year, but now it has developed a problem.    My PC is no longer able to find the printer on the network.  It is connected to the wifi router.   I printed the test on the printer's wireless network and no problems were found.   I have verified the IP address defined on the printer and have used the program to update the IP address on the PC.        The PC still cannot find the printer.    Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?         I don't think that I have a firewall blocks access to the printer.    It used to work fine and I changed no settings...    Your comments would be appreciated.    Thank you.

Thank you. Dr. impression scanning led me to solve the problem. All I had to do was unplug / restart the router. I appreciate the help.

    Hello

Please help me with a problem of annoing with radio.

I used 2 days the wireless and then suddenly found no more... wireless network I have reinstaled vista 2 weeks ago, and now I bought a wireless router and set a network... same problem : "Windows cannot find any wireless network"... with a laptop dell, I found 2 networks (one I created and the other a neighbor with very good signal).

    Collaborative I've tried:

1 http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9602NC0000R01.htm - in the directory toshiba\wlan there are 3 directories: intel, atheros and realtek... following the steps, the only factor that installs is intel one... If I try to navigate to the folder Realtek can't find anything compatible... (the network lan card is realtek, so I guess that the Wlan should be the same... as also indicated in the url)

"I have the latest drivers from the toshiba Web site

The next sollution I try is updating the bios, but I have no whink it is useful.

So please help me with a sollution for my WiFi problem!

    Thank you

    Hi creativu22,

First, you must identify the type of wireless network card before you begin to install all the drivers available. Therefore, you can also search with vendor and device ID.
    Check this box!

If you have installed the driver successfully and your wireless network adapter is listed in the Device Manager, you must check the TCP/IP settings. Maybe you need to use static IP addresses, but it depends on your router.

Try turning off also in Power Options Windows WLAN energy saving features!

  • HP MIni 210-2145 DX: clean install of Windows 7, now I can't find the wireless drivers that work.

I have a HP mini 210-2145 DX.  I recently had to do a clean install of Windows Ultimate edition.  Now, I can get a wireless connection because I can't find the right drivers on the HP site.  I tried 12 + drivers that I downloaded.  They all seem to be for 32 bits, and it's 64-bit.

Can someone please help me find the right wireless drivers to install?  Thank you.

Try this different file and see if it works automatically and installs the driver.

    File name: sp57965.exe

There was also support for the hardware ID you have posted.

I have no problem downloading the file, or by using 7 - zip to extract the exe file downloaded to a folder that you can browse from the network controller to install the drivers.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with the problem if the new file does not work.

If your laptop does not have Bluetooth built in, it is possible to install Bluetooth connectivity using an external Bluetooth USB adapter.

  • ePrint on iOS 5.1.1 5.0.1 can't find my wireless printer / Airprint does not work

    Printer model: HP Photosmart 5510

    Model of router: Linksys WAG120N

Devices and operating system: the new iPad, iOS version 5.1.1

iPod 4th generation, iOS version 5.1.1

ePrint , installed on both devices, version: 5.0.1

Application Description: I can print "Via a local Wi - Fi network: easily identify HP wireless printers available on your network."

This doesn't seem to work on my network described above. whenever I want to print a document, it requires activation to the ePrint online service. I have this, provide the email address printer, but in this case, the document must be printed is sent to HP ePrint Center then back to my printer and not directly through WIFI.

In addition, Airprint works only onetime after I restarted my printer, so it is no more.

I'm just disappointed with all combinations.

Can you please support me in this issue?

    Thank you.

    Hello

To print from an iPhone using HP ePrint or Airprint network must use the multicast Apple Hello service depends on.

According to similar discussions, it seems that the multicast is not supported by the specific router model:

    http://homecommunity.Cisco.com/T5/cable-and-DSL/WAG120N-wont-AirPrint-to-HP-printer/TD-p/371737

    https://discussions.Apple.com/thread/2656668?start=75&TSTART=0

It seems to be the lack of support of your envoirnment network.

To ensure my suspicions, try please perform following steps:

    1. On the printer, press the wireless icon, and then press the settings button.
    2. Select Restore Defautls network.
    3. In the same menu, tap on wireless and make sure it is set to.
    4. Since the iPhone, go to settings.
    5. Tap on WiFi.
    6. Select the printer SSID (will include 5510 or B111 in the name of the network)
    7. Allow 2-3 minutes to establish the network connection, now the iOS device directly connected to the printer.
    8. Now try printing using HP ePrint or Airprint.

I think that you will be able to print without problem... which means the problem caused by the router...

I recommend you contact Linksys support and check for any possible solution (e.g. Firmware update), however, it seems that the router does not support the requirements of connectivity Hello...

    Kind regards

  • Can't find the wireless Airport device?

I just bought a new Airport Extreme. I am able to connect to all my other computers to this new Airport Extreme except an old Power PC G4 Mac Pro which I still occasionally use. Before this new Airport Extreme, I was able to connect this Power PC G4 Mac Pro to the previous-generation Airport Extreme. When I go to the Airport on the Power PC utility it does not have the new Airport Extreme. I tried to restart the PC to power, but that did not help. Can someone tell me what I should do to get this connected PC power?

    Thanks for the help.

    Lou

When I go to the Airport on the Power PC utility it does not find new Airport Extreme

You would not use AirPort Utility to connect to the old AirPort Extreme Power PC.   AirPort utility is only used to install and configure the router to the airport... and you have already done this.

The G4 would connect just like any other wireless device connects to a wireless network. Select the network and enter the password to connect if requested.

If the old computer still does not connect, it is possible that security on the old computer's wireless settings are not compatible with the security settings higher than more recent that the newer routers use these days.

  • can not find the wireless network

    Hello

I hope someone can help. Today, I got a new installed wireless router. Until now my main and most recent computer can connect to the internet fine (so I know this isn't a network problem), but my old computer does not find the network when scherching of available networks, it may pick up other networks and communicate with them simply not my own. It is the first time that I am trying to connect to this wireless computer.

The computer is a HP pavilion t770.uk Windows xp sp3.

You need to replace the network adapter. The current NIC is older than the specification of N, so it can not communicate with this Protocol.

You can try to configure your router and the new pc to use b, if they allow.

  • Satellite Pro C660-1LP falls or can't find a wireless connection

We are a school and bought 12 Satellite C660-1LP last summer these are causing constant problems by removing or collage just do not a wireless connection.

It is only rectified by rebooting; sometimes several times
We have a number of other brands and models of laptops on site and they have no problems.
We have XP installed on all devices including the most recent readers and BIOS and we use CISCO Aironet 1130AG access points

The problem is that there is no obvious fault, but the issue affects all/only this model of laptop on-site and is making it unusable/little reliable

    Hello

I think you have an Atheros WLan card.

Well, especially the latest Wlan driver should solve the problems
This is why I recommend updated WLan driver to the latest version.

Here you can find the drivers:

I installed Windows XP Home Edition on my spare PC.  Now I have wireless network card in the computer and problems to find the drivers for it, and I don't know what brand it is, so I know it's kind of makes it harder too.  Then I also have to start the computer, but if I press F1, the computer starts well

I was just wondering how can I get rid of this?

Disable all devices that can connect to your router (wired or wireless)...

    • PCs
    • Laptops
    • Tablets
    • Smartphones
    • Smart TV
    • Printers
    • Networked storage
    • Another thing that I have not mentioned above!

Put on your router and wait for the normal light distribution. Then turn on all devices.

I hope that your ip address conflict went away. Generally ip conflicts can happen when the router is running again without doing the same with all devices later.

If you have even an ip address conflict, it is possible that you forgot something above or can someone use your router without your knowledge.

Your router's wireless network is secure? Ideally with WPA2 encryption?
