  To be honest, it's really strange.

  Apple has changed that in El Capitan. According to Mac and I, Apple has confirmed that the new 5 K and 4 K iMac (as well as the iMac 2014 5 K) supported a pilot chart 10-bit that has been activated with the release of El Capitan.

  What is the number and the model of your graphics card?

  Because your computer is Windows 7 installed, it wil have the latest DirectX version i.e DirectX 11 is installed by default. Here are two things, try.

  When I set the preferences in 32-bpc and sRGB, the color picker changes from display RGB 8 bits [0 255] values to decimal RGB values [0... 1] out to 4 significant digits. However, the hexadecimal values do not change. For example, RGB [127,127,127] is #7F7F7F and RGB [128,128,128] is #808080. And if I calculate the decimal value of 10-bit RGB [511,511,511], I come with 0,4995. Similarly, RGB [512,512,512] is 0.5005. However, when you drag the color picker up and down the grey scale, values bounce 0,498 and 0,502 who are decimal equivalent to 8 bits of 127 and 128.

  Actually Yes, Geforce cards can produce 10-bit color via HDMi and displayport. However they are supported only with applications that use DirectX for the API. Support 10-bit color Quadro via Open GL. Adobe uses Open GL, so you would need a Quadro card for 10-bit with Adobe on video cards. However, you can get a map of IO as a card Aja or Blackmagic card and get 10 bit color overview this way which is what I would say since these that a gross result of enforcement and the color space is not performed by the operating system or the video driver.

  No 6 LR does not support monitors 10bits AFAIK. Lightroom performs all the calculations in 16-bit precision, but for display on a screen, the images are always reduced to 8-bit.

  PCoIP only support 32 - bit color, when you install the agent view it will change the 32-bit color setting and not allow it to be changed.
