  Hi, we had a problem with first (2015.3) using the RAM on PC. Whenever we display media thumbnails, first sucks all the RAM until Windows crashes (we can monitor it via Task Manager). This also happens when you link to the media and it consistent. The only work around we have found is to view the media as a list instead of thumbnails when linking to the media.  I put the max RAM for first allocation in the preferences of the memory, but it seems to make no difference. We run on Windows 10 with 16 GB of RAM installed? It's a strange question that seems to be going through all of our machines (which are still configured). Someone else has this problem? We suspect that this is a bug with the latest version of first? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  Please write a bug report on it, listing exactly the question & how it goes and of course that you encounter it on several machines in your office.

  It seems a stupid thing both because they do NOT meet the filing of reports, but... it's the only way to ensure you get the information that you experience a bug and what is the management team.   And Yes, clearly pose with memory leaks in 2015.4 across both Mac and at least Win10 version. I'm on Win7 and with not problems... touch wood... but do not know whether or not it is related to the operating system.

  Purchased the base early 2015 retina MBP (was on a real budget) and I'm looking to replace the SSD with a larger SSD.  I read on various forums that this can be done, but that nobody makes compatible SSD yet... However, these positions have been since around about a year ago.  Has this changed?  Is it possible to buy an SSD and replace my existing and if so, where?  Can't seem to find anything on ifixit.com, I saw mentioned OWC.

  Hey people,

  I got a new me refurbed Mac Book Pro Tuesday and my problem is that sometimes, the text, for example in the search bar is glitching.

  There are parts of the letters missing and random pixels appearing - when I select the text the problem usually disappears.

  Web site sometimes show the graphic defects too.

  Now I'm a bit worried that this could be a hardware problem - someone else has experienced this?

  I took a screenshot to show what it looks like, it doesn't always happen but its a little boring and it worried me.

  I think this might be a software problem, given that diagnosis shows no errors, but I want to be sure

  Plugged my iPod Classic 60 GB to try to synchronize with my iCloud library. ITunes has shown, but wouldn't a synchronization and then it wouldn't show it, so I restarted computer. Plans is just an upgrade to 2 GB ram & leaving with windows 7 edition starter or go to 4 GB ram & upgrading of windows 7 Edition family, but the latter would cost at least £70 more & I was wondering if it is worth. Seen also some comments re autonomy, reducing the latter but don't know why?

  I'm not bothered by the limits as office & have managed to overcome the problems of reading of DVD of W7starter but want the base system to run faster. Has anyone done one upgrade & there was a significant improvement?

  Separately if I upgrade the operating system do I need to reinstall the programs etc?

  I put t have this little netbook, but if you are satisfied with the BONE and so pre-installed OS is good enough for all your needs, in my opinion, upgrade of RAM is sufficient for you.

  Hey Buddy, 3 GB of RAM are sufficient if you use common tools like itunes/internet explore.

  The operating system will allow you to do a lot of crazy things.  This is one of them, but to repeat what Mike and I told you, it won't help and isn't something useful or productive to do.  It may cause your system to crash if memory gets overloaded and will NOT improve the performance of your application.

  So, I use the latest version on a Mac with 16 GB of RAM etc. Photoshop 2015.0.1, Yosemite 10.10.5.

  I cleaned the fonts with font, same removal book a couple where they were marked as warnings and duplicates.

  Now everything on the system (Word, Pages etc.) reads the fonts correctly, except Photoshop, which seems to be seeing for most all the fonts on the system, but unable to handle some of them. The odd seem to be rating the music of Sibelius, and some Microsoft Word fonts and others I don't know. They appear in the list seen by his name, but there is no samples, or samples are broken, and selecting them has no effect. The part of the sample stands as a small box square - or an empty space or a rating of some sort, not even the Word sample.

  I've tried everything, even delete the caches and so forth, and then one other user tells me that, apparently, is that in Photoshop that this happens?

  These fonts are not damaged. They simply do not have support for A through z characters (or have some other forms in their place).

  For example, Gurmukhi MT regular is intended to be used with the Punjabi language and does not support the Western languages such as English.

  I strongly recommend against the use of RAM 1333 MHz in a MBP calling to 1067 MHz RAM. Macs are very sensitive to the RAM that is installed.
