• Function of memory in the loop control and Simulation - problem of the ODE Solver

  Hello

  I'm correctly using the control loop & simulation to simulate the behavior of what is essentially a shock absorber-spring-mass system. In the process of change in time (dt) is used to integrate an arbitrary value. I use a rack depending on memory to store the time, to calculate the change of time (dt).

  The simulation is quite complex, because of the precision required, not all the ODE solvers can all support. Currently I use the Adams-Moulton method, this works very well for the simulation. However, it cannot detect the change in time, the change is constantly zero. This problem has auto market by using an another ODE Solver, but then the simulation has been messed up instead (even when I listen to the step sizes and tolerances). So I'm pretty confident that Adams-Moulton is one of solver ODE best suited to the problem at hand.

  Is there another way to store the previous hour and use it calculate lag, that the use of the memory function? Everyone knows about these problems before?

  I did a lot of research of error using the probe, but I'm sure that there is a problem with the ODE Solver and memory function. See the image below, showing basic how is calculated the change in time.

  I'm pretty new to LabVIEW, so if there is something else I missed I would be happy to hear it.

  PS! I set the tolerance minimum step of size/relative and absolute for the Adams-Moulton to simulate the behavior of the system properly.

  Problem solved!

  It turns out that the ODE Solver has struggled because of two "table 2D find" used functions. This was created for the interpolation/extrapolation, which caused a problem constantly and the ODE Solver could not resolve correctly, so the functions of memory doesn't work does not correctly or the other.

  By increasing the table manually, I could use closest method instead, with also good results as interpolation.

• BBM MDS Simulator problem

  I'm developing an application that needs to send something via BBM surveys, so I wanted to try it. The problem is that I can't get the BBM Simulator to run. I followed the instructions found on the Blackberry Messenger page, but when I run run.bat it says the following:

  (I first copied them only in the C:\jdk1.7.0\jre7\lib\security, but it says "have you installed unlimited strength jurisdiction policy files?")

  I have downloaded the SDK, extract the contents of "C:\BBM\", mounted in the MDS Simulator and extract the content as well.

  Running Windows 7 64 bit.

  What I'm missing here?

  Is the JDK 1.7 32-bit?  I have not tried with 1.7, only 1.6.

  Found the solution! Just in case someone else wondered in the future, all you need to do is goto inside your browser Simulator blackberry.com/appworld/download, then install it normally but don't restart. He will remain in the Simulator until you run clean.bat

• design Simulator problem

  I don't know if it's because of my code or the Simulator. I noticed that the Simulator (on my computer at least) sometimes messes up drawing. I got a ListField, who was shooting very well, but then I added a bitmap to the Manager (somewhere in the corner) and now the ListField mask some lines and trains them to new etc (changes occur when I scroll). also, I am writing a 5.0 app and the blackberry I have works on 4.7, so I can't really test. is this a known problem or is there something wrong with my code (which literally adds a ListField and a BitmapField to a Manager)?

  I solved the problem. rather than add a BitmapField and a ListField Manager Similarly, I added the BitmapField to a separate and then added Director as the Manager for the same manager as the ListField.

• Microsoft Train Simulator problems under Windows 7

  I recently got a new computer with Windows 7, 64 bit.  It has Intel HD Graphics 4600, 10.18.10.3574 driver version

  I installed the program from my original CD with detailed instructions on one of the dedicated websites, installed in the directory c:\\msts\, installed the Train_Update1, the class 50 and SD40-2 updates.  The installation went well with no problem.

  I restarted my computer and click on the icon to start the program.  He started without calling for me to insert the CD, well.  When it happens it displays all kinds of weird characters on the screen.  I can see the program in the background, but the display is watered.  I run Task Manager to exit the program.

  Is this all just not compatible with graphics Intel 4600 or someone can give me advice on how I might be able to get this program on my new computer.  It works fine on my old Vista computer.

  Note Flight Simulator is usually installed on the drive C, unless another location is specified by you. So be sure that you have enough space in drive C to install the game.

  You check the use frequency of the project on block of EXTRACT properties > frequencies tab.  So the structure of the MA is only simulated at frequencies of input: DC and not harmonics 5 simulation HB is taken into account.  So microwave Office must extrapolate at these frequencies. Your block EXTRACT frequencies should be defined to include 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 times each frequency simulation... .to you chanage the number of harmonics in the harmonic balance options.  You can also simply define the block EXTRACT sweep from 0 to 10 GHz.  Whatever it is, the simulation of EM will take more time, of course.  If AXIEM does not converge on a response, change the properties of block of EXTRACT > AXIEM tab, click the secondary Show button and under Advanced frequency sweeping (AFS), increase Max # sim points.

  For circuits that include models not linear, you must include the frequency = 0 even for linear measurements, for the accurate calculation of the DC polarization.

  I'm trying to simulate a simple multivibrator which I intend to use it to generate a square wave. I use this circuit:

  

  I think that there is no problem with this circuit. Almost everywhere, I found this structure.

  In virtually, the tour starts to work because of differences in the elements. Circuit was symmetrical, he started working in the simulation. To work around this problem, I tried to:

  * Initailze one of the capacitor

  * Take one of them as 2N2222A and other BC107

  Try this in Multisim 10. Your collector resistances are far too high in the resistance. You must also select 'Set zero' for the initial conditions and integration "Gear" in the options analysis. You can add your own PB and LED.

  I'm using Labview 2009 and I am a newbie and stuck in a problem.

  I'm simulating a protocol which flowchart is downloaded. The communication is series.

  This Protocol work is as said:

  (1) stage 2 is valid if and only if the Stage 1 is communicated successfully otherwise end.

  (2) step 3 is valid if and only if step 1 and step 2 is communicated with success otherwise end

  (3) on.

  I used a state machine standard with the entry as the condition command.

  My problem is 'single entry', that is to say if the entry of the series is INPUT1 den s REPLY1 coming and going next to step 2 (because of State used machine), but since INPUT1 INPUT2 don't IS NOT EQUAL to the state machine is finished entering INPUT2 no response... am stuck upwards.

  Your comments would be appreciated.

  Part of the confusion may arise with the channels of communication and States having the same names.  The program doesn't have a problem with that, but it can be confusing, you and me.

The returned message has the deleted stop character, you don't need the subset of the chain.  You can check the number of return output to make sure that you got a message and not a timeout.

  This is a cleaned up version of your VI showing termination character changes.  Also, I removed the unnecessary sequence structures and made some other changes.

  I have a problem on the simulation of a circuit simple flip flop. The output is connected to a LED for the indication of the output. However, the lights just keep blinking which gives me the impression that the output is not stable (which from my analysis, the production should be stable).   I don't have a Multisim, so I can't comment on the issues of simulation directly.

  I was about to raise the issue of V/15 V 5.  As well, a typical LED work to 1.6 to 3 V according to color (and thus the composition of semiconductor). Try LEDs by car directly from the output of a 4011 will cause problems (in a physical circuit). The current Ioh source for the 4011 is 8.8 my typical and 3.4 my minimum at 15 V, assuming the Voh = 13.5 V.  A typical LED voltage current could rise to 32 my (~0.5 dissipation W!) until the device goes up in smoke! But with tension that low, the logic of feedback will not work because the output voltages will always be below the other door entries.

  The simulation does not reflect accurately the limits of current and voltage outputs.

  When I put in place a fast simulation of logic in LabVIEW, I find that there are some unstable States. This logic includes a delay effect, but assume ideal logic levels.
