Got new Suddenlink cable modem/wireless router that uses dynamic addresses - only but the 8600 all-in-one printer uses static-how to to get wireless printing? The printer can be reconfigured to accept dynamic? How?

Thank you

Yes, it can, information in your printer manual. You can reset the network for DHCP settings. In addition, your router supports IP static. You just need to configure it. Info is in the router manual or call them.

When finished, I was able to print, I have created e-print, and the scanner works, but did not find what was once called the "Solutions Center HP" that I could click on choose scanning, check the ink supply, get 'Help' and so on.  A HP 8600 printer icon installed on the desktop, but when I clicked it, it was just a bunch of meaningless jibberish, but had no function. I went to 'Start', then HP and was able to somehow make a "Scan icon" to open.  I don't have the ability to implement "WEBPRINT", nor REGISTER MY PRODUCT and so on. In other words, the installation has not finished. I tried putting the CD back in, but no additional options were available except to reconfigure them, etc.  Thank you for your help.

This PC wireless adapter does not work with the band of 5 Ghz 802.11?

    Hello @luticrist,

I understand that you are curious to know if your HP ENVY TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC 23-d044 can handle the 5 Ghz bands. According to the HP ENVY 23 - d044 TouchSmart all-in-One Desktop PC product specifications page your computer supports the following communication standards: 802.11b/g/n. With an antenna that works only on a single-band 2.4 GHz. If 'NO' your wireless adapter does not work on the 5 Ghz range.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

Error 0 x 00000643 error when you try to install a Kodak wireless printer. When tried to install the wireless printer, wireless printer is ready to install I get a PnPx device Microsoft authorization. Runs like it is installing then error is presented. I tried fixit did not work... Frustrated

You could settle on a previous installation. Try this:

Go to your device manager and see if you have an old installation of the printer and right click Uninstall. You can also check if there is an old facility of the printer in Control Panel, printers, right click and delete it. Install the printer using the Add Printer Wizard. If it fails again with the same error, go to Device Manager right click on the name of your computer, click on "Scan for harware changes". He must find the printer and install it. Now you can check your printer if its work. If this does not work, please indicate your model of printer on your next reply.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 all-in-One connected as network printer loses connection

In December 2011, I bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 all-in-One to replace an Officejet 6500 as my network printer home. The 6500 worked very well on my cable, but his screen did not, I tried some of the features offered by the 8600 and I got a good price on a new warehouse of BJ. I have the 8600 connected via ethernet (not wireless), with a static IP address. All my computers on the network are running Windows XP Pro SP3 and are up-to-date with Microsoft updates. However, from one day to the next my 8600 will lose connectivity scan (Scan of the computer shows it as being disabled on all my computers at the same time, and I can't reconnect), and if I do not have anything he'll (as in a few hours) also lose connectivity impression. The only way to restore connectivity is to uninstall the HP Officejet Pro 8600 device software basis of all computers, and then reinstall the printer. I had a phone conversation and two debates with HP Technical Support; They suggested that the problem is in the firewall on the computers (but if that were the case I don't think that the loss of connectivity would occur on all computers at the same time), the IP address setting (doesn't make sense) and the printer driver is not not the latest version. I tried all the suggestions, and none of them have solved the problem. The last counselor "has raised the issue to the next level", which proved to be a Manager with no technical expertise and his only suggestion was that I have to return the printer to the merchant. I think the problem is the firmware in the printer (which, according to the 'update' on the printer option, is the latest version). Any other suggestions or experience?

After a lot of research and find the settings that I did not know that Windows XP offered, I found that the following appear to have solved the problem I've known - at least the printer is now operational for more than 48 hours without losing printing or scan connection. Here are the steps I used:

    1. Start Control Panel  connections network and Internet

    2. Choose "network connections."

    3. Right click on "connect to the Local network.

    4. Choose "Properties".

    5. In the top window is the name of the Ethernet computer connection port, select "Configure" next to this window

    6. Select the tab labeled 'Power Management'

    7. Uncheck the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

    8. Select the "Advanced" tab

    9. Select the entry "power saving Mode".

    10. If this entry is set to change 'On' to 'Off '.

    11. Select 'OK', and then close the windows that were opened

  • HP Photosmart Premium e than all-in One (C310a) no longer print wireless

I have a Photosmart Premium e All in One (C310a) printer/Scanner and it stopped printing via wireless network - I don't think I've changed anything on the network.  There are the following symptoms:

1 impressions sent via wireless just sit in the queue after some time and printing status indicates error - printing.

    2. we will analyze more wireless.

    3. If I turn it on to USB connection, it prints very well.

    4. She will print a test page when insiders from the printer menus.

    5. I have downloaded and run the doctor HP Print & Scan which reported no problem.

I am running XP Home Premium (64-bit) on my computer if it is relevant.  I also completely uninstalled and reinstalled the printer, but that did not help.  Grateful for advice on the resolution of it.

I finally fixed that!  My router provider was completely useless, when I rang them and just declare that they offer no support for port mapping...  However, it was not the router.  It turns out it was my internet security suite (McAfee), which had decided to start the Spooler SubSystem App from blocking. By chaning this setitng to allow outgoing connections that I solved the problem and the printer work again wireless.

Thanks for the help and advice AlwaysNeon, I thought would post the solution although case someone each reports the same symptoms again.

  • HP officejet 8600 wireless printing error

My HP officejet 8600 wireless 1 page prints at once.  Anything larger than a page and I got an error message.  Recently upgraded from WINDOWS 8 to 8.1 - no improvement.  Very frustrating! It would really appreciate advice...

    Hello dabadia,

I'm sorry to hear that your 8600 Officejet will print a single page at a time after your upgrade to 8.1 Win. I would like to help you and give you my best advice.

I recommend running HP Print and doctor to analyze first to find and fix common printing problems.

If this does not resolve the problem, I recommend then Uninstall the printer, restart your computer and reinstall the software using the Printer Wizard install for Windows.

Good luck, I hope this works for you!

I want to use my printer wirelessly without router (via direct wireless), but there is no work, or he always says this printer is offline every time when I was trying to make my the HP2545 while one use by direct wireless.  IAM using a pc with windows 7 64 bit I have installed the latest software for 2545 all-in-one of the net to the PC already, connected via USB and in this case printed successfully. (it also works through classic wireless)   The printer appears as a device with wireless on the PC and I can log in, however, (with unplugged USB) when Iam printing, the printer shows as offline and work never reached the printer. But if I plug in the USB cable it will print. I already found in the bottom right corner my SSID of my printer, put the correct password and it writes me that priter is already connected but nevertheless the printer does not work, is always offline... I tried all the known methods (in classic seting place... by start-> all programs-> HP-> HP deskjet 2545 series-> setting up the printer and the software and tried to convert the USB to connect wireless) , but without any positive result... what iam doing wrong? why it does not work on my pc via direct wireless table? on my second laptop it I have win 7 32 bit and everything works great also through the direct wireless... it's very strange... Why this function works on my laptop but on my table pc not despite the fact that connected the printer in the lower right corner...

Although no one responded to my problem, thank you when, I already solve the problem! It was such a success s bull and I didn't know... I had only just connected and linked to my home PC, my network card with my wireless card with the network address and ola which was the cause which has blocked my direct function wireless printer, now everything works well,!

Hi @Mina85 and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I see that you are having connectivity problems.  I would try to help!

I recommend you to perform a power reset.   Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I also suggest this document on Center of troubleshooting wireless printing.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • HP all-in-one officer 4500 Wireless

When I try and install the software and drivers it crashes after I check the tab wireless on my new MAc PRo, it will work with the usb but I can't get the wireless software to implement.

Because no drivers for Yosemite and comprehensive features for the 4500 wireless software, you will not be able to use the software to configure the wireless. Instead, you will need to run the wizard of wireless configuration directly from the front of the printer, then add the printer to your system preferences.

On the front panel of the printer, press the small key (setup) button), then the arrow on the wireless menu. In the wireless menu, touch Wireless Setup Wizard and select your network when it appears. Once you enter the network password and the printer to connect to it, you can then add the printer to the computer.

When you add the printer, please ensure that you use the HP driver.

    1. Select Add another printer or Scanner
    2. Select the printer that you add, and next to the 'use', you can the printer driver

Wireless Router Range Extender: Linksys RE6500

    Multipoint unresolved printing problem:

HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 had printed out successfully all the three above mentioned computers since the purchase of the 04/04/2015. End of August 2016 he started intermittently refusing to print wireless, sometimes do not connect wireless or holder from job to job.

09/06/16 I posted the question on the Forum of community HP between 07/09/16 and 08/09/16 had dialogue on possible solutions. I followed the Commission received and interpreted it following recommended tasks - all without result:

    (1) sequential power off and cord power to the router Range Extender, OfficeJet 8610 Pro and iMac and removal after 60 seconds of powering the devices in the same order. Result: would not print.

    (2) off wireless to iMac. IMac connected to a printer via an Ethernet cable. Printer would not print.

    (3) tried to scan the printer for iMac's wireless: would not scan.

    (4) tried Scan via an Ethernet cable from the printer to iMac: Scan worked.

    (5) connecting iMac via an Ethernet cable to the router and printing system reset iMac to remove the printer and then added printer as directed by its name: HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 [455491]. The results have been mixed:

    (a) wireless to iMac to the router and Ethernet cable router for printer: test page printed.

    (b) the iMac to the router and wireless router for printer: test page will not print.

08/09/16, having nothing specified by HP Community Forum, I contacted AT & T, the provider of my router and all my services (wireless, broadband, Internet, fixed phone) for the Support service.

    AT & T: recommended

    (1) make a new Setup wireless printing HP itself using my secure wireless network name and password, and then perform a reboot of the router. Between the two actions (new set-up and router reboot), the printer starts and print a previously submitted test page. To confirm that the printer was actually working, I turned off the printer, waited, he turned back and tried to print Test page: the page not print.

    (2) AT & T then told me to do a new manual of the printer setting. Just as I got Set Up on the screen of the printer, the printer prints the Test Page.

AT & T told me that the printer should work fine now.

Once I have shut down my system and restarted the 09/09/16, I found that I could not print anyway:

Wireless to the router for printer

Wireless to the router and Ethernet cable for printer

Ethernet cable to the router and wireless to a printer

    Ethernet cable for printer

Another experiment on 11/09/16 led to erratic printing depends on the original machine:

1 iMac for HP printer: wireless printer for iMac gives not the Page of Test sent for printing, but a series of blank pages, followed by several pages of code and followed by more white pages. Code pages are all the same and then talking about the Cambria police (body).

    a. the first pages all State: %! PS-Adobe-3, 0% APL_DCS_Encodiong: UFT8% APLProducer: (Version 10.11.6 (Build 15 1)

    b. human beings second page with: 14 start/FontName dict / TJOLUV+ def Cambria

Page 2 on three subsequent print reading attempts the same as above, except for a different set of letters before "+ Cambria". A UAXKPA, a JJCFBS, and the third is WOKHHG.

    2. yet, when I tried to print the Test Page of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro wireless, printing is successful (i.e., the test page prints and do not print pages blank and coded.

I'm sorely need a remedy to this overall situation.

    • What is originally intermittently, the HP printer?
    • What is originally a wireless printing and Ethernet to vary?
    • What is causing the iMac to print Virgin and code pages when the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro both print pages "regular"?
    • The question one demanding a new router?
    • DOE the question indicates the need to uninstall the printer and then perform a reinstall?
    • With all machine software updates could be software problems cross machine?
