8620 installation issues

I have installed the printer in my office. During the installation of my laptop battery died Mid-installation.

I plugged in and restarted. I uninstalled all HP products. It took the CD to uninstall.

When I reinstalled, it finds the printer and installed the driver. However, the test printing failed.

I used the Print and Scan doctor. It found the printer. But he could not print a test page. He then printed an internal test page, which worked.

It is recommended to uninstall and reinstall.

I did and I'm still in the same mess. Any help?

Hello! Welcome to the @the8re forums.

I've read about installation problems you are having with your Officejet 8620 and I am here to offer my suggestions!

  1. Uninstall the printer by running the Microsoft Fix It tool.
  2. Restart the PC.
  3. Perform a clean boot and reboot the PC.
  4. Disable the firewall/antivirus.
  5. Download and run the download driver here: HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-all-in-one printer drivers

I hope this will do the trick and you are going to be installed without delay!

  • E.M.P. 11.1.2.2 Installation issue on RHEL6 64-bit

    Hi all

IAM EMP 11.1.2.2 on RHEL6 64-bit server installation

When Iam by running the installer, I get the following error

EPMINS-01072: you have read only access to the inventory of the oracle

Note: I installed oracle 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.3) on the same server, but its in another directory

I have explored the issue and found that on the oraInst.loc file permissions should be assigned after even the assignment of permissions still the problem exists.

Could someone please guide me if they were facing the same error.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi John,.

    Thanks for the reply.

I tried adding the user installation of Hyperion to oracle group, but it did not work.

I have him granted the permissions in the oracle root directory and and all of its subfolders, then the problem has been resolved. (app/u00) was the directory where I've provided the permissions and also for all the sub directories as well.

There were several oraInst.loc files in the directory and giving individual permissions for this file did not resolve the issue.

  • Click-Mini satellite L9W - B - Linux installation issues

    Hello

I try to install linux on a toshiba mini-click L9W - B. Since I was able to boot with the USB (UEFI only) I've got trouble finding drivers to be able to use the card Wifi and the keyboard Dock.

Ony 8.2 debian is able to start with a touchscreen to work but without network...

Is anyone have positive results in the deployment of linux on toshiba mini-click L9W - B? Any working linux distribution?

    Thank you
    Best regards, Freddy.

Given that I have no answer, I will publish my own test results here:

From my own tests with toshiba mini click, you'll be able start vfat usb key with a well formatted starting efi directory and file (/ efi in your USB). BIOS even in version 5.10 can't start legacy.

8.1 32-bit Windows usb Windows 8.1 build key is able to start on click mini (ntfs file system) and 64-bit Windows usb key build of Windows 8.1 8.1 64-bit does not start on click mini. I suspect, that chat on the forum of the EU of toshiba, toshiba mini click bios to start using 32-bit efi startup plans on efi/boot/bootia32.efi.

Here's a way to start any distro of linux of your mini click using a usb key with the vfat file system:
1 - try to boot with a USB stick to gparted (vfat file system)
    2. get the boot efi files / (including a grub.cfg file)
    3. use the directory/boot/efi on the new USB that you create, you have managed to boot linux change efi/boot/grub.cfg.

Try Manjaro (ArchLinux) distribution, this distribution has the best material of support right here. 15.04 - Ubuntu or Debian - 8.2 may work in some time, always missing drivers in the installation process.

  • Laptop HP dm1 NEW OS installation issues

I just bought a laptop HP Pavilion dm1-4003au with a copy of Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit installed. I have the standard partitions - C (System) which is GB 278, restore partition, sharing tools HP and a D drive no name that I can not access and gives me to understand is some sort of failsafe win7.

I want to format all and install Windows 7 64-bit professional of a DVD that I own.

After that, I want to get most of the useful software of HP and drivers currently installed backwards.

Now my question is this :

Are ALL available on the HP support page of said software/drivers? I mean everyone including Beats audio software, Coolsense, QuickWeb, drivers webcam, bluetooth and wireless drivers to name a few? If not, where can I get them from?

I want to put all of these installers on sure DVD or disk external DRIVE for future use.

I don't know if this is the right forum to post this question but I didn't see a specific forum for sub HP drivers so it seemed close enough.

    Thank you

Note: I know I can create restore disks, which is what most people do, but I have really no interest in sticking to the basic home edition since I own not professional.

    Hello:

Not all the software that came with your PC is on the support page for your laptop.

Check your C:\ drive for a folder called SWSetup. Click on that and that there should be several subfolders marked spXXXXX where XXXXX is the file number for the driver or the software installation files.

I don't know any other way than to click on each folder and see what live programs/drivers folder.

What I would do, is copy the whole folder SWSetup on a DVD or portable storage drive.

Then you can reinstall the software you have found in these files.

  • LabVIEW 2011 Run time engine installation issue

I try to install Labview 2011 Run time engine as downloaded here: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2534/lang/en

on my laptop Windows 7 Pro. I have the hard drive shared in the C and D drive with plenty of space on each.

Initially the office IT guy tried to do the installation as an administrator and for some reason any installed at "D:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\" for some reason any. He went through the installation without error, but after restarting, it seems that some of the components are installed. I never installed anything else OR on this computer, but after installation I see NI License Manager and Datasocket under National Instruments in the start menu. If I re - run the installer it seems to think that everything is installed and there is something to remove, but it is obviously not.

Subsequently the computer gave me administrative privileges on my account so I have been playing with various combinations of uninstall and reinstall myself but with the same result each time.

Any ideas would be very appreciated.

    Hi Robert,.

    you have installed the RunTimeEngine.

  • Windows Update installation issues

I just bought a new laptop from HP HDX16 last Monday and I've seen a few problems with the installation of the updates. The ball of the small window appeared on my computer Saturday saying "new updates are available" I clicked on it, looked at 33 updates and 5 of those optional, agreed terms and began to download. After that, they started to install. It is said 'Installation successful' click to restart. When I restart my computer, it displays a blue "Update Configuration" page and gives a percentage... It is 100% and restarts and this black page comes with a number of a number (e.g. today was 0/117000 and when he arrives at 117000 TI clicks away) it then goes to a another blue page goes right to say "step 3 of 3-0% complete". He will be sitting on this page from 20 minutes to an hour, then to a page that talks updates could not be installed. Then go to my home page. After a few minutes the ToolTip appears again on the updates and it's the same 38 updates. He made 6 or 7 times and I can't understand it. What should I do to get these important updates installed?

  • Costs of WinXP installation issues

I had to reformat a drive and reinstall Windows XP.  I only had the original disc to upgrade.  I did the installation successfully, but when I tried to go at support.Microsoft.com, it became apparent very quickly that the IE version wouldn't work with the site.  I tried to update IE without success because without SP1.  I tried to install SP1 Express from the Microsoft Web site (downloaded from another computer), but without success because he cannot connect through old browser.  I couldn't find a link anywhere and I could download all SP-1 on another computer and install it.  Any suggestions?  I'm totally stuck at this point.

Download the SP2 and install it.
    Reset.
Download SP3 and install but read first tricky300 entry in this thread. It comes to half way down the wire
Visit Windows Update and let it install all high-priority updates. It will ask you to restart at the end. For backup, redo the remaining updates.
