Is it possible to charge the battery with an x 220 with a 90-Watt adapter?

  • adapter iPad got hot then stopped working

    Hello

    I have an iPad Air and used iPhone 5 Watt chargers for charging. But he soon to load that I bought today a 10 Watt adapter (to an authorized Apple dealer). My iPad Air was about 52% when I plugged the new 10 Watt adapter. He began to charge substantially, but the adapter had really hot (I couldn't hold in my hands for more than 3 seconds). It has suddenly stopped working. The 10W adapter feels melted plastic. I let it cool for a while and plugged back in but it looks like it has definitely stopped working. How comes this way is a real Apple adapter?

    Do not know why it does this, but take it back. And certainly do not plug it in again.

    Amber = load needs

    Blue = charged

    Off = no load (battery is fully charged).

    You can also right-click the battery icon on the lower right side of the Windows task bar, which tells you the % of load, and if the power is plugged in and in charge,

  • T410 recommended AC adapter / CC

    Hello, I got a new laptop of company TYPE T410 2537 - 24 G S/N xxxxxxx 10/08. It was delivered with a 65 Watt adapter and when I start it connected to the adapter (battery or not) indicates that the adapter does not supply enough power and therefore the performance of the system are reduced and battery charge time may be increased. He asks me to confirm, otherwise, it will not start. I have a processor Intel I5 M540 CPU and battery extended on it. It has a disc hard solid state and I think that graphics memory is embedded not discreet. The site says it is a power of 65 watts power when graphic on board and 90 watts when bistritei. But why the alert come on Start menu BACK and tell me that the 65 Watt power supply is insufficient? It would be beneficial for me to get a 90 Watt one? Could the 90 Watt do no damage to the laptop? Our IT support cannot help me, maybe you can a lot. Thanks for your support, your answers impatiently. Ralf

  • I bought the new adapter for my computer 5742G Acer laptop service they gave me instead of 90W Adapter 65W

    Adapter for my laptop is broken. I ordered the new Acer service adapter for my Aspire 5742 G. But they sent me 65W adapter instead of 90W. It works well. But if it can cause any problem?

    dreamboymurat,

    It won't cause problems, but this adapter can be suggestions for your laptop. I would contact them with regard to it because they may have ordered the 90-Watt adapter, if there is not in stock, he could have subbed out to an acceptable adapter that may be due to the difference in power.

    If it is not at all confusing.

  • 90 watts vs OEM 65 Watt power cord replacement

    Original power cord for G72 was labeled 65 watt and replacement of HP is a cordon of 90 watts.  It will make a difference?  Voltage is the same.  It's just the watts which is higher.  I wouldn't have my laptop (no cell phone.  Laptops are made of paper.  Stop him.) go all melty on me.  Read stories about it, and I have therefore some reservations.  Thanks for your time.

    You will be well with the help of the 90 Watt adapter, it is more important that there is the right connector to fit your laptop

  • Load a X 220 with a T530 power adapter?

    I have a 220 X (which is, hands down, the best laptop I've ever owned). My wife recently bought a T530 for herself. Power adapters seem to have about the same thing, if the T530 has a much larger brick. Are the two compatible adapters, or if I'm out of power with only its adapter available would it FRY my machine?

    You can use a 65, 90 and 135 Watt with the 220 X adapter. T530, you've got have a 90 Watt adapter. The adapter is designed to provide only the current (voltage is fixed) and therefore the power only if required by the machine. It does not constantly 65, 90 or 135 watts, the maximum power.

    According to Lenovo, 90W Adapter offers you no advantage over an adapter 65W except extra weight.

    90 Watt adapter gives you a time to charge the battery more quickly. And also it helps your laptop CPU to run at full speed when necessary without the battery installed.

    With the 65 watt adapter and battery, CPU limit rear.

  • Recommended for the load of Apple pencil

    I realize that I can plug my Apple pencil in my iPad to load. In addition, provided with the Apple pencil is an adapter of lightning... I used this map of lightning with my Apple 5 watt power adapter and the light provided with my iPhone cable to recharge my pencil to Apple as well. I have not, however, used the lightning with my iPad Pro 12 watt adapter adaptor and cable lightning because I guess it will be dangerous for the pencil of Apple... Am I wrong? In an effort to try to extend the life of my pencil to Apple and not to damage through loading wrong practices, I wonder what Apple recommended to load that my Apple pencil is?

    Should be charge with the power adapter supplied with your iPad Pro.

    World wide phone holder

    I understand that if you remove your battery, you can't boot up your laptop.  This is not unusual. some laptops are set up in this way.

    I understand that when you have the phone connected and charge the batteries of your performance is lowered.  There is more than one draw powere when it loads to the battery.

    Here is a link to the laptops HP - test and calibrate the battery (Windows 7) to ensure that there is no problem with the battery.

    Could also remove the battery once you put under tension.

    You asked questions on the use of a 90-Watt adapter.  Here is a link to HP G4 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service of Guide.  Chapter 3 page 32 lists not one that is recommended.

    Good luck!
