    Hey Buddy

What to say about this problem is known and caused by bad Windows registry entries.
Microsoft has published and published items of knowledge.

    Check this box:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/270008/en-us

I recommend first of all remove the reader of CD/DVD from the list of devices in Device Manager. Then, completely remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters from the following registry key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    Finally, restart the laptop.

    All that s.

  • Tecra S1 - size HARD drive can I use

    Hello

I have a Tecra S1 and looking to upgrade the hard drive because it is only the 30 GB model.
I found the HDD compatible in terms of size, but my question was if there was a restriction on the ability of the HARD drive, or I can go to any size I want?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks Chris

    Hello

AFAIK the Tecra is supported by the IDE HDD controller and you have the 2.5 IDE HARD drive.
I guess that the IDE controller supports ATA-100 standard and therefore the LBA48bit would be too pressed and this means that you can use hard disks of more than 120 GB.

But if the ATA-5 controller / LBA28bit ATA/66 only then would be sustained and in this case, you can only use the 120 GB HARD drive as a larger size.

  • Seagate Hard Drive Firmware Update for the drive model: ST1000LM024

I have (HP Pavilion dv6-7180se Entertainment Notebook PC). All the drivers for this model installed correctly except the drivers Frimware (Seagate hard drive Firmware Update) and (PLDS Optical Drive Firmware Update). the first one says "this hard drive model is not supported. Model = ST1000LM024"but my hard drive came from the factory, so what is the practice solution to install this driver? images .view of problems:

    This is to seagate:

    and for PLDS:

    Need help. Thank you.

What mean of these messages, is that these "Firmware updates" do not apply to material in your specific computer. The two "Seagate Firmware Updates" are respectively for the hard drives of 250 GB / 320 GB and 500/750 GB hard drives. Your computer comes with a 1 TB hard drive, which is not subject to updates of the firmware. The "PLDS Optical Drive Update" is for another drive to CD/DVD only installed in your computer and also does not apply. There is no further action to take... Do not attempt to install these updates of firmware, because they do not apply to the hardware in your computer.

  • drive CD/dvd is not working

My cd/dvd drive does not work. The message I get is to insert a CD. Now after using Mr. Fix (from microsoft) I even see the drivers on my computer. What should I do?

    Hello

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive

  • Drive CD/DVD not visible in BIOS, Device Manager or Windows Explorer - only during the analysis of the system.

Until a few days ago, this problem didn't exist - I know.  My CD/DVD drive is no longer recognized in Windows Explorer, BIOS or Device Manager.  It doesn't, however, appears briefly in Windows Explorer in the analysis of the security of the computer.  It allows to open/close, etc.  and when it is visible, I am able to open the drive and see the contents of the CD.  Then it disappears again.  The light flashes indicating that he works and I can hear it trying to read the CD.  I uninstalled iTunes because I read somewhere that this may have been the issue - but that didn't work.  I tried the system restore, registry cleaners, removal of upper/lower case filters from the registry, used the program Fixit found on the site Web of Microsofts etc and still no luck.  Any ideas?  The computer is a gateway SX2850 (?) with Windows 7 Home Premium installed.

  • Models DVD

Here, we are now in 2016 with reports to Apple software business model DVD cruelly lacking since 2006, never watch those discussions?

I find strange ways in which very few companies supply of DVD models, either for just a one disc until disc DVD box 12 cases of DVD.

I left Windows XP Home where "Printparade" gave many types, free templates, but limited the software for Windows only.

Unfortunately, my printer Epson XP - 710 (4-in-1) came only with software DVD disc models that are good say the least, but unfortunately no one model for a DVD/s case.

I mentioned to Epson on what seems strange to me why they cover the disk and not the case?

I tried to use Adobe Premiere elements 14 and Adobe Photoshop elements Editor, to find very deficient and for me totally useless to make a model of DVD case...

There must be a way to know the measures concerning the case, resizing an image in order to adapt and add a script / image accordingly.

My application get little sympathy, because there must be a certain members of the community all in the same boat... Laughing out loud

And what's wrong with those offered in iTunes?
