  Follow these steps and check if they help.

  Step 1:

  You can re-create the database of Windows Media Player and see if that fixes the problem.
   
  To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:
   
  a. exit Windows Media Player.

  
  b. Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.
  
  c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
   
  Note You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
   
  d. restart Windows Media Player.
   
  Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

  Hello!  This morning my Windows 7 (the motherboard Acer) desktop ceased to recognize the wired connection to its network card.  In other words, it shows kind of connection, but notes "no Internet access.  It connects to a surfboard by Motorola through one Ooma hub, although I encounter the same problem when I connect to the desktop directly to the surfboard.  All other devices Wi-wired and that connect to the surfboard are functioning properly.

  Thinking that the Realtek NIC on the motherboard Asus was the problem, I installed a new Trendnet network interface card in the PCI slot.  I disabled the network card to the motherboard via the BIOS settings.  No change.  Always 'no Internet access.

  Time Warner Cable test the modem from their office and said it was working properly.  I also connected a laptop directly to the surf board using the same cable, and he was able to connect to the internet.

  I'm editing a podcast.  It is a clip, a track in first pro.  My sound levels varies between-3 and - 12db through recording due to parts where I speak louder and quieter.   I need to balance a little better, to make the quiet parts louder.

  I don't know how to do this outside the insertion of keyframes volume level in the clip, which is slow and manual and takes forever.

  Every search I do to normalize levels is all about several clips and by adjusting the maximum peak in the same, that will not help me.

  I have a HP OfficeJet Pro L7780 printer and a laptop running Windows 7 Hp. The HP Solution Center has stopped working recently and now gives a message error "HP Solution Center cannot work because your installation of the device is not complete."

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software "OJProL7X00_Full_14.exe" and when I go to 'Add a device' it cannot find my printer on the network, even when I enter the IP address.

  The printer is connected to the network and I can add it as a printer in the window "Devices and printers" window so I can print to it, but without the HP Solution Center software, I can't scan.

  I see that you spent a lot of time trying to solve the problem of the HP Solution Center not allowing you to scan. Uninstall and install it, rub the software and execution of printing and scanning Dr. / Printer Wizard are all the steps I would have suggested do you.

• Reduce the input level

  Hi, I'm trying to record a radio show that we do.  I connected to a USB sound card main mix and can see the hearing levels, but they are far too high. I want to be able to use the mixer and just go in the orange LEDs so want to reduce the level of entry into hearing, rather than reducing the fader master on the desktop.  I tried to use the effects Rack and make one - Cut of 6db.  While this reduces the levels on the great indicator of level, it does nothing for the little meters on the track or level which is actually registered.  How can I reduce the level which is registered?

  As the so-called ryclark, hearing simply records what is called by your interface - input levels must be adapted to the interface, so that you use here is the crucial question.

  However, I will go a little further and say that if your levels are as high as you say, you may well be overloading the entry to the interface itself with distortion occurring before the signal happens anywhere near hearing.

  Just a hunch, but many drummers have their main outputs on XLR for the level of the line, but many interfaces use XLR just for the microphone level and need a quarter inch TRS jack for level line as a mix-simple to fix with the appropriate cable.   Any chance that this could be happening?
