  Oracle APEX application is deployed as a SQL script, so regardless of what OS/Architecture of the application is exported and where it is deployed.

  The only thing is that you can not deploy an application from a newer version to a version lower than Oracle APEX.

  Little SQL Developer 4.0.2 run on Windows 8.1 64?  I can't start.  The start screen appears, the 10% of the way, and all progress bar then everything stops.

  Dear all. We use the attached funtion "write_complex_binary.m" in matlab to write complex numbers in a binary file. The format used is the IEEE floating point with big-endian byte order. And use the "read_complex_binary.m" function attached to read the complex numbers from the saved binary file. However, I just don't seem to be able to read the binary file generated in labview. I tried to use the "Binary file reading" block with big-endian ordering without success. I'm sure that its my lack of knowledge of the reason why labview block works. I also can't seem to find useful resources to this issue. I was hoping that someone could kindly help with this or give me some ideas to work with.

  I guess you know Matlab and can generate a little complex data and use the Matlab function to write to a file.  You can also function Matlab that you posted - you will see that Matlab takes the array of complex apart in 2D (real, imaginary) and which are written as 32 bits, including LabVIEW floats called "Sgl".

  So now you know that you must read a table of Sgls and find a way to put together it again in a picture.

  When I made this experience, I was the real part of complex data (Matlab) [1, 2, 3, 4] and [5, 6, 7, 8] imagination.  If you're curious, you can write these out in Matlab by your complex function data write, then read them as a simple table of Dbl, to see how they are classified (there are two possibilities-[1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8], is written "all real numbers, all imaginary or [1, 5, 2, 6, 3, 7, 4) [, 8], if 'real imaginary pairs'].

  Now you know (from the Matlab function) that the data is a set of Sgl (in LabVIEW).  I assume you know how to write the three functions of routine that will open the file, read the entire file in a table of Sgl and close the file.  Make this experience and see if you see a large number.  The "problem" is the order of bytes of data - Matlab uses the same byte order as LabVIEW?  [Advice - if you see numbers from 1 to 8 in one of the above commands, you byte order correct and if not, try a different byte order for LabVIEW binary reading function].

  OK, now you have your table of 8 numbers Sgl and want to convert it to a table of 4 complex [1 +, 2 + 6i, 5i 3 +, 4 + i8 7i].  Once you understand how to do this, your problem is solved.

  To help you when you are going to use this code, write it down as a Subvi whose power is the path to the file you want to read and that the output is the CSG in the file table.  My routine of LabVIEW had 8 functions LabVIEW - three for file IO and 5 to convert the table of D 1 Sgl a table of D 1 of CSG.  No loops were needed.  Make a test - you can test against the Matlab data file you used for your experience (see above) and if you get the answer, you wrote the right code.

Is it possible to get the new Apex database with the data of the table changed so this database in both places (sql and apex developer) is exactly the same... Also the other way around.

  The database schema that contains the tables, is it associated with the workspace even you are searching through the APEX product t development?  Why I'm asking is, if they are the same schema, the tables that you MODIFIED should be appear in the sql for APEX workshop part.  Now reports and forms will NOT see the changes (unless you have actually added or updated definitions for column).

  Can you explain what exactly you were doing the SQL Developer to the tables in your schema?

  Hi all

  I need your help to get this issue resolved its urgent and I'm not able to get to the conclusion. Here is my scenario, I'm getting slow query runs because of some non-visible characters that are copied with the application of the PL/SQL developer tool. Please find below attached screenshot: Oracle_Issue

  

  Note: This non-visible characters are caused when we write the query then us hit the SPACEBAR or press TAB PL/SQL developer tool

  I use the developer tool PL/SQL to write or test the query. Now I take this request copy paste in my application of the company (who takes this query connects to Oracle or any source of data base, catch data and produce PDF reports for customers).

  Now, my client is the Oracle user when I write and you run this query by the PL/SQL Developer, it works fine, but when I paste in my Inbox feature request (reporting system) and run it, it runs slower and jams to the customer database. Now after a little research I found that when I copy the query directly from PL/SQL developer at my request, he copy some characters not visible (introduced when we press SPACE or TAB in PL/SQL developer tool when writing query) with the request, then I copy this query again to my box of the application Notepad and delete these non-visible characters. Now, after removing the non-visible characters again once I copy backup question in my application and run the query, it works normally. Please find below attached screenshot: Oracle_Issue 2

  

  So I think that the cause of slow performance is due to some INVISIBLE CHARACTERS present in the query.

  My application uses SQL server 2008-2012 at the backend to store data from different sources.

  I just wanted to know the blocking process to the top of the database and the characters not visible how affecting slow running query of query database.

  Spaces and line breaks do not change the execution plan created. Does not plan to run slower or faster.

• LabVIEW 2010 executable runs under windows xp, but not in windows 7

  Hi all.  Here's the situation.  We have Labview 2010 professional development on a computer running Windows XP.  I designed all my programs with this PC.  We have another PC which has Windows 7 with no Labview.  I'm trying to make the executable files and put them on the Windows 7 PC.  I have been here three executable files and move the Windows 7 PC.  One of the executables work correctly, the other two interrupt immediately.

  Executables that stop have temperature limits and the program is apparently seen a low temperature and so stop the program.  Yet, these same executables work fine on the PC under Windows XP.  What seems to be the case, is that the program is expelled before allowing himself read the temperatures.  I use the modules of the series C 9213 and 9211 with 9188 Chassis.   My programs are showing 0 for temperatures.  Well, it's certainly in the low temp limit, so the program stops.  However, she should not do this.  I know there is little delay with the playback of all thermcouples in 9213 and 9211 modules, but this was not a problem with Windows XP.  Even if the program starts from scratch on the XP PC, temperatures immediately appear, or appear after a second or two.  Yes, I've rarely seen a temp 0 on the XP PC, but the program doesn't stop; Give it a second or two and the time appear.  Why is it that happens in Windows 7?

  An executable that works has no measure of temperature.  It uses only 9481 modules and run the solenoids at a rate of about 0.2 seconds.  This executable works fine on both computers.

  So what - this on the modules of temperature reading that is causing a problem in Windows 7?

• Weird LabVIEW... VI is modifiable at run time

  Hi all

  I have a weird behavior of LabVIEW. I developed a program for my client, and this morning, I sent them the update VI (as well as all the subVIs LabVIEW project, etc) in a zip file. When they unzip and run the program, LabVIEW is weird - when all these while, things work fine (fine as in as planned). Here is what happened.

  At the program, I have the toolbar, the menu bar and the title bar to be hidden. Image 2. PNG is meant. When we hit the run button, all these bars becomes hidden, as planned, it should be, but this time only for a second or two and then they reappear. To make it more strange, the run button in the toolbar became 'white' as if the program does not run. However, there are some indicators on the HMI to show that the program is running. For example, the clock on the lower right corner of the GUI and the status bar has made the point to say something to happen. On the other hand, the buttons on the HMI are editable - you can actually change the size, words and if you press the buttons, it acts as if you want to edit it rather than exploit it. So, we can't really use the program.

  When we inspect the block diagram, the toolbar displays as if she does not - the arrow enforcement is white. However, when we press the button to highlight run, we can see the flow of the program. 1.PNG is a snapshot of what we see. While execution is highlighted and crosses the state machine, we could change the size of the structures, change the constant enum, etc.. In addition, we have changed a value in the shared Variable "RT Error". That will make the program is essentially read this value, updates the status bar on the front panel and reset the value back to zero... and the program behaves as it should. So, this somehow tells us that the (front panel and block diagram) program works. All these are cool, but if I can't use the buttons on the HMI, the program is unusable.

  I did LabVIEW for 9 years now, this is my first time see this phenomenon. Please can someone explain what is happening here?

  I have a Development Board Nordic semiconductor nr51. This card is programmed as a tag bluetooth which simply announces his address with 16 bits of data appended to the end.

  My laptop came with loan materials smart bluetooth. I installed an app interactor lighthouse to bluetooth on my laptop and the software is able to detect the tag as if shown on the image below.

  

  I wanted to write a LabVIEW program that will simply be careful bluetooth headlights and notify me in my computer every time a lighthouse with the specified address is detected. This mobile application below is provided by the manufactuerer of the Board of Directors and I wanted to develop a LabVIEW program something similar to what will read the given data and extract values.

  

  Somehow, all the sample applications provided data only shows how to read and write in a connected bletooth device but not analysis for tags. I also tried using the Bluetooth ' discover ' and it does not detect the bluetooth beacons.

  Could someone provide me with the necessary information or example program for detecting / reading of tags bluetooth in LabVIEW 2015 running on Windows 10?

  Bluetooth in LabVIEW function nodes using the Winsock interface to access bluetooth resources. This works very well for Bluetooth 2.0 devices but not Bluetooth 4.0 devices WHEAT aka. Microsoft has created a completely different interface for these resources API as the model of overall service for WHEAT devices has radically changed.

  The API to use WHEAT devices is the API of the GATT (generic attribute profile) in Windows. There is supposedly a .net interface available that you can try to use (Windows.Devices.Bluetooth.GenericAttributeProfile). The WinAPI to lower level (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/hh450825(v=vs.85).aspx) is a C DLL API and does not lend at all to be called directly by the LabVIEW call library node, since some of the parameters of the function are quite complicated and you need to also access the SetupDI APIs to enumerate resources WHEAT and even harder to function parameters. In order to access this low-level API to write an intermediate DLL which results in low level API C a more acceptable API for LabVIEW.

  Another possible problem is that Windows don't at least in Windows 8 not allows devices to pair per program. Microsoft wanted to force developers in the use of the "inbox" experience, which means that all users must go through Microsoft provided service pairing, instead of each request for implementation of his own matching technique.

  I was prompted to install the app, I just wrote is basically a VISA fantasy on Mac serial port interface. customer however, I have only the experience of PC and I built the application on a PC, and we only have versions of PC LabVIEW here... I can't find this info on the developerzone of ni.com.

  Also - if possible, a MAC managing COM ports in the same way as a PC?

  You must first MAC of LV version and a MAC to build an app for Mac.

  Since you are using VISA I think, but have no experience with it, it works the same. The alias file should translate the VISA ASLRx::INSTR resource in the name of the correct system port. You really use VISA resource names in your program, and not the names of system. Using COM1 for the Init.vi Serial Port will fail maybe on a Mac.

  I'm using SQL Developer 4.1.2 and tries to connect to SQL Server through Windows authentication.  If I use SQL Server authentication, everything works so the jTDS driver appears to be installed and working properly (I use jTDS 1.2).  When I switch to Windows authentication, I get the error

  Status: Failure-Test failed: IO error: failure of the SSO: library Native SSPI has not loaded. Check the system java.library.path property.

  Of course, I googled the error and came up with dozens of people asking the same question and is told to move the ntlmauth.dll from the \SSO directory to the jTDS directory in various other directories.  That seems to work for others so for the last few hours, I was copying the DLL in each directory that I can find someone on the internet suggesting without success (I do restart SQL Developer each time).  In the Directory SQL Developer, I tried

  On the off chance that something was still making reference to a directory of a SQL Developer previous install, I put it in the same directories in the front THAT SQL Developer installed on this machine.  On the theory that she was using the FMV of the machine rather than that I downloaded and installed with SQL Developer, I advanced and dropped the DLL in the directory \bin for each installation of Java, that I could find on the system.

  Not sure if this has anything to do with your problem, but according to jTDS - SQL Server and Sybase JDBC driver / newsand since SQL Developer 4.1.x requires Java 8, '' you should stick only to jTDS 1.2 If you need to use a version of Java before Java 7 '' . Perhaps using a version 1.3.x jTDS driver might help.

  I use the new version of the developer 4.0.1.14 on Windows 7 x 64, I noticed that the result of the query or the output of the script does not display as before:

  When I run a query lets say with 100 lines of output, run the query successfully, but the cursor jumps automatically to the last record in the game as in all previous versions, I have to scroll manually everytime.
