  I recently bought a Toshiba 32BL502 32 in Super Slim LED TV - purchased the 11th of this month.
  The first time, I unplugged my blu - ray player HDMI cable and connected to my laptop instead, it was absolutely perfect.

  The 2nd time, however. It caused a horizontal line to appear on the screen - and it is always there now. I tried to turn it turned off and unplugging everything - is there any which output is on.

  I informed E-buyer, the company I bought, and I think they should be able to replace or repair.
  But I would like to know how to avoid what is happening again!

  Is it as simple as just turn off until I unplug the blu - ray player HDMI cable to plug into the laptop? Thanks for your help!

  In my opinion its just not lucky.
  There is no special procedure to connect a display to a blu - ray player or a laptop.
  The display can be ON or OFF which makes no difference.

• Horizontal lines flickering static on laptop screen

  Since a few days I have been see sometimes a few lines horizontal white flickering on some parts of my screen. The most notable is just high above the best browser window centered. In detail, looks static, white and fine lines. They aren't always there. I can't be certain, but it seems sometimes when I open a browser window or documents from the office.

  I've had this laptop PC for 2 years. The theme used does not appear to affect the problem; I've used both 7 aero and windows 7 classic themes, but the problem persists from time to time.  There is nothing I can think of that I downloaded or modified that could have created this problem. I'm not too worried about that right now, but it can be a bit worrying that sometimes it will happen a lot with a few lines. I still clearly see the display with the current lines. When you take a screenshot of the problem, the lines do not appear on the screen. There was no physical onscreen impact or damage to the computer laptop itself.

  Windows 7 Home premium x 64,

  HP compaq Presario CQ57,

  AMD Vision sticker on the product with Dual Core and AMD radeon graphics (6310 series)

  The processor is apu 1 .3GHz e-300

  Run a Microsoft FixIt can't find anything.

  I very rarely hardcore games. It of mainly simulation (not hard core) but played no games on it any time from before that the problem occurring.

  I tried to describe the problem as well as possible: also, I appologise if there is that similar to the following threads. Any help would be appricated. I will aim to answer any response as soon as POSSIBLE. Thank you

  Hi MattBurd, welcome to the Forums of HP. You have described your problem very well, thank you for this. If the white lines appear intermittently and are not captured with a screenshot, this is probably the actual LCD display or data cable is the cause. If not, perhaps it can be solved with a hard reset: perform a material or forced reset Reset

  If that does not clear it upward permanently, you probably experience a failure of such equipment as previously mentioned. If you are uncomfortable with this, you can see the display Assembly removal instructions begin on page 61 of the present: Compaq Presario CQ57 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service of Guide.

  Hello. My problem is that my screen for all my tour programs gray from either, I have expanded the program beyond a specific point (for example, expand my solitaire game) or if a notice appears on the screen.

  What is happening is that the screen, somehow, crumples upward in the bands of gray on the left side of my screen. It's not until I make the smaller program or the message disappears the issue corrects itself.

  He never use to do before.  Is there a way to fix this?

• OSX suddenly stopped and restarted but does not restart. Lines of color on the screen

  I'm on OSX 10.10.5 (I think) at least, I use EL Capitan. I can't tell the exact version, because my computer does not start correctly. The software is installed on an I mac for some time around mid-2011.

  The day began like any other day. I turned on the computer. Opens the web browser and lightroom. All of a sudden my screen turned gray and my second was a line downwards in the Middle, almost as if two screens of office have been posted on a monitor. Screens flashed several times with some funky patterns and then the system restarted with a carillon.

  When he did, white vertical bands turned towards the bottom of the screen while the Apple was displayed at startup. Sold turned screen gray, then rebooted again. This time, the bands were purple. It's the same thing again but next time the lines were orange and the system restarted a third time. At this point, I turned the computer off and tried again, but I was immediately greeted with several orange bands.

  Can someone help me find a solution or help me pin point the problem?

  From what you describe, it looks like a hardware issue that Apple will only be able to resolve, but not to despair immediately.

  Read it please get help with graphics issues on external displays connected to your Mac - Apple Support.

  I know that the title and subject are not suitable to your concern, but buried in this document is the following passage that contains three links describing the steps to follow.

  If you can not change the resolution of your screen because you see no image, restart your Mac in safe mode to reset the default display resolution.

  If booting safe mode doesn't resolve the problem, reset your Mac NVRAM and SMC to reset the video ports on your Mac to their default values.

  That first, then write again for additional suggestions if you are still having problems.

• Spectrum XT: Spectrum XT Lines vertical pulse on the screen: the possible inverter failure?

  In recent days my screen started showing gray vertical lines for about 2 seconds then return to normal and repeat indefinitely. If I gently bend the Center at the bottom of the screen towards me that it stops for a few moments then again.

  I think about a hardware problem: perhaps of the inverter?

  Update:

  Well, I finally found some time to disassemble the thing. I had the broken hinge on Christmas thing and HP replaced the back cover and this problem started a few weeks later, so I thought it was an unrelated hardware problem or a loose connection problem related.

  I took apart today, removed the batteries and then removed from the screen. There was obviously nothing. I reinstalled the display connector and re-installed the batteries and turned back on it. The lines are still there. I made a few adjustments more gently pushing everything back in place and the pulsating lines disappeared. I put everything together back and his works always fine half an hour later.

  I guess it was just a loose connector to the previous repair.

  You did the right thing and tested it with the external monitor. There is evidence that the display is faulty and must be replaced. It has nothing with the help of the ADB. Such a thing just happens.

  Sorry, buddy, but there are two solutions, either Exchange the screen or use it with external monitor. :(

  I can't say for sure, but it might be faulty display.
  What you can try is to connect the external monitor or TV to the laptop and check if there is a problem on an external device. In case contrary it comes to the display and it should be replaced.

  Googling around you can check how much you must pay for the display again and do a rough estimate, if Exchange is the right option or not.

  I HAV a problem with my computer dell 9400 laptop, I was playing a game & then the screen went white, I waited a while & when nothing happened I rebooted it.

  It will load only to the top in safe mode, im not a expert in computer but I have a funny feeling its me video card.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  • Uninstall and reinstall Flash CC
  • Windows update, update driver Wacom Centiq
  • Tablet Wacom Cintiq to uninstalling and reinstalling

  Can you please let us know foll. Details:

  • The Tablet driver version number
  • Mapping mode defined for the Tablet, is - this mode of PEN or MOUSE.

  Also check what is the game in compatibility mode: RightClick the shortcut to Application Flashpromanager.new-> properties > compatibility and by checking the option "disable display timing of ppp settings high."

  He had reported similar problem on Re: sensitivity on flash cc 2014. Check if that helps.

• Move a large number of objects from one layer to the other?

  Hi people.

  I created a photo book of HELP CS5. It has a large nuber of pages. However when I created it originally, I forgot to build a series of layers, so all the objects are now in a single layer.

  Now, I want to assign each 2 double page their own layer. I created all the layers that I need, but I think it's a little annoying moving individually, each object in the layers panel, the original to the new layer layer has been assigned.

  Is there anyway that I can move, on the mass, all the objects selected from the original to the new affected layer layer.

  You release the Option/Alt key after the first stage.

  (1) you use Alt-Option when you click on the original layer to select the entire document on the layer.

  (2) then release Alt Option. In the new layer, and drag the square.

  Holding Option-Alt in the 2nd step makes copies of objects in the new layer. Without hold Alt Option, the objects are MOVED, not copied.

  1. it is a subjective response. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. You will need to determine what you want and don't want in a device.
