A legal version of XP invalid in a different region

I had to have my hard drive wiped and reinstalled XP Pro (in Dominican Republic) months ago. It has worked perfectly since then, but I was decided only in the Canada, where Windows has completed a validation check, the copy of windows wasn't not allowed for this region, and now I validation failure messages in all directions. I'm back in the Dominican Republic, where the version I use is approved. How can I solve this problem?

Hello

I suggest you to follow the steps in this link and check if it helps:

Sorry for my bad English and thanks for reading this.

I don't know what you have installed, but HP lists only single display drivers 8.15.11.8644A out on 09/01/2009

It seems that you install either Nvidia graphics, and if you had looked at the Release notes you would see it is a driver for reference only and may differ the driver provided by the manufacturer of your laptop.

So I guess you can install other drivers via update of windows, which is a no no.

Yesterday I suddenly got an alert on my cell "Windows Vista (TM) Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine".
My copy is pre-installed on my Lenovo Y510 laptop several years ago and is the real deal.
I did nothing unusual/different to my laptop only a few weeks, against my better judgment, I downloaded and installed SP2. I had all sorts of issues with SP2 in the past and uninstalled many years ago but as I could not find a security (Norton or Kaspersky) package that could work without it, I had to install again.

Hello
I tried to follow the instructions you gave, but was never given the option to "Country" or "Phone Activation" - perhaps because Vista is preinstalled by Lenovo? I just kept getting messages that I have the product was not authentic and if necessary, to buy a new code of product etc...
So I ignored the messages that the version of Windows, I had was invalid and found and seized the key to product repeatedly. Of course I should have done cela all along , but I assumed that the messages I received on the version being not authentic not meant that this step would bring back me to square one - and other assignments seem to imply the same - a message that the version was not genuine meant that it would be useless to enter the product key.
. My version is now accepted as authentic by just entering the product key, although I seem to have lost some functionality (background had to be changed etc.). And I am still puzzled about my Vista how happened to legal illegal overnight!

My apologies to send you on a wild goose chase!

• 0xc00000e9 - I have a legal version of Windows but no CD of restoration. How can I download/create?

This is the much described problem that also hit my ASUS U3S laptop, running with Vista Business.

"Unable to start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the problem. Windows failed to load because the system registry is missing or cprrupt. »

My question is the question in the title: I can create or legally anywhere (?) to download a recovery disc? My computer came with a preinstalled version of Windows Vista Business 32-bit, yet there is no option of repair or integrated recovery and I don't have any drive recovery. Any help is very appreciated. I need my computer back very urgent work.

Thanks for anyone responding to this post.

How to do a startup repair disk:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
• Higher Ed purchase of CS6 returned to the trial version; Serial number "invalid."
My college offer faculty the opportunity to purchase the software Creative Suite 6 to use at home. I paid the fees (at my college) and my IT Department 'allowed me' Journey Ed, who put me upward with a download password link and an activation code for the software. It was almost a year (Oct 2014). All right.
But only four days (4 September), all my applications Adobe spent in "trial versions" and when I try to activate the software with the activation key, he says that it is not valid.
So I called Journey Ed. They said to contact Adobe.
So I chatted with Adobe (phone rep said that I had no right to talk to a real person) and after half an hour of silly questions, the cat said my serial number was not valid and I need to contact my college. I'm going to do that today, but no response for 2 days.
I have ready many other posts on Adobe updates, dashing the activations, but nobody don't mention their serial number becomes marked as invalid. Since Adobe usually ' help, what should I do?
(For archive) It turns out that my college has not renewed the license of CS6 but nobody says our campus Wasted several hours of my time tracking. Please confirm, Bev
Hello
The sql merge operation does not currently work with versioned tables, with or without validtime. The optimizer of the merger results in insert/update statements on the underlying table for the _LT. As a result, instead of triggers that are created during the enableversioning are never triggered.
• Why a different version of windows 64 bit have different memory limit?
Hello
Version Limit in 32-bit Windows Limit in 64-bit Windows
Windows 7 Ultimate 4 GB 192GO
Windows 7 business 4 GB 192GO
Windows 7 Professional 4 GB 192GO
Windows 7 Home Premium 4 GB 16 GB
Windows 7 Home Basic 4 GB 8 GB
Windows 7 Starter 2 GB 2 GB
I'm looking at the product of Windows 7 and I don't understand why he memory different r limit the operating system can support.
Win7 starter: 2GB
Win7 Home Basic: 8GB
Win7 Home Premium: 16GB
Win7 Pro, Enterprise, Ultimate: 192GO
Is it related to performance (for example optimization of memory the kernel) or is it just marketing strategy Microsoft (binning)?
Windows 7 Starter Edition hardware target that don't support not more than 2 or 3 GBs, making it a logical limit since most of the users will not upgrade such material and will stay with a WIndows 7 Starter or upgrade to another 32-bit edition that is more than a sufficient amount of memory to run efficiently.
The limits of different memory for 64-bit editions is attributed to the fact that the average consumer (I mean the majority of them at least) won't buy or can afford a machine with 192 GB of RAM (which costs about US $50,000) and have no use for it. 8 GB is more than enough for most users of power, power of advanced users, scientists, engineers, and players, people media processing can even be satisfied with 16 GB of RAM. If you want to go beyond the limit of 16 GB, example of such scenarios include multiple virtual machines running or the rendering of a cinematographic film, you only choice would be Windows 7 Professional or ultimate edition. Windows 7 Enterprise is available for only volume license customers. The 192GO range is really for the audience niche and winning the lottery.
• Version 12: Same SQL, another scheme == > different execution plan?
I'm testing a huge application with a database middleware sophisticated against the Oracle 12 database. So far, it works well with Pervasive SQL, MSSQL and Oracle 8 database... 11.
There are many questions about execution plans changed from Version 11 to 12. Oracle will tell what all of the improvements are (or at least have to improvements), and I can't really denied him. It's not the subject.
But I met some SQLs with horrible execution time, especially connected to Crystal Reports. Whenever I tried to check them, the queries have been executed quickly. As far as I can see, this has to do with the schema/user who executes the SQL statement in a first time. Here are the details:
= ADMIN, DML = GUI DDL: all data are stored in a scheme of the ADMIN. The ADMIN user creates the tables, views and so on. It grants access to and creates synonyms for users, but it cannot modify the data using DML, given that triggers prevent him. End users, named 'GUI' users, are allowed to use the DML, but they have no privileges DDL.
• Database of reports (on paper) are generally quite complex. They have only a limited data set (must fit on sheets of paper!), and the Oracle optimizer optimizes often against this goal. Because Crystal Reports generates no advice, most of the reports are based on a view ADMIN. < xyz > (with the necessary information) and are accessible via a GUI. < xyz > synonym of user GUI.
• Crystal Reports running slowly (~ 5 minutes) connected as a GUI. I export it, get the SQL export, log in as an ADMINISTRATORand run the query, it works quickly (~ 2 seconds). Well, I've probably changed some white space, the line endings and others then copy / paste, I don't?
• I tried many things, connecting both GUI and ADMIN, simplifying the application, execution and so on. Then I got confused version of who this query: when the ADMIN has added an additional space character it was fast, removed again and it was slow again. Whitespace have an influence on the execution plan? Probably not, and if yes, my vision of the world would collapse.
• Later, I found out: in Version 12, depends on the user executing this query. Nail down us the source of the query for the synonym GUI. < xyz >. Let us make a new version of it (coded by white space - smile), and if run you it like GUI first, it's slow. Even if you re - log on as ADMINISTRATOR, the same version of this query is still slow. (This is a bug!)
Question 1: When I prepend the SQL with 'EXPLAIN PLAN FOR', I seem to be changing. As GUI has no plan_table and no privilege to explain a plan, I can't spy on the implementation plan of 'bad '. I don't want to give too much GUI, and I fear it could alter the execution plan. Is there a trick to get the plan of execution of a SQL statement in v$ sql or v$ sqlarea? (Means: execute the query: GUI and explain it as an ADMINISTRATOR)
Question 2: Is this on the privileges of the GUI? What you think, what direction will further investigate?
Oracle database generates an execution plan based on SQL, the dictionary, the statistics, the privileges of the user of the analysis and database and session settings. One of the privileges is GRANT MERGE [ALL] DISPLAY, which was responsible for the difference in this particular example and in this particular version.
When you log on as another user and run the same code in SQL, Oracle database verifies all required components before she reuses the old execution plan. This is a minor bug, but it is.
In the example, the privilege GRANT MERGE ANY NOTICE was given implicitly by the DBA privilege. Because MERGE ANY VIEW disables security controls, the privilege of s/n, default, also disables security controls. This is not a desired behavior from the DBA privilege.
I had windows xp edition SP2 family and my friend decided to upgrade using an illegal copy of windows xp service pack 3, is there anyway I can return to my legal version or be able to activate the one I have.
Thank you
Well, it's not really illegal to install windows on windows.
in other words, let's say your computer preinstalled with windows sp2 came.
then you went to the store and bought windows sp3 and sp2 installed.
the scenario would not be illegal, but it would be a waste of money.
Therefore, if the sp3 of windows that is installed on your system has not been activated on another computer 'or' it was turned off from the other computer, which is uninstalled, then use it on another computer is not illegal.
personally, I have not seen the above scenario so my entry is somewhat limited. but the good side of things is that if your sp3 windows is activated and can update microsoft servers, then you're ok.
on the good side of things, now you have a bootable xp sp3 cd which can be handy for repairing the operating system if necessary in the future.
in the meantime, don't make any more changes to your system or try to undo what you have now.
First, confirm or not if windows sp3 is still active on another computer or has it been uninstalled from him.
In addition, you may be able to simply replace the new product key with your first.
Take a look at this Web page and look under the tab for xp:
• Try using the Vista upgrade disc supplied with the system displays error Windows version is not authentic
original title: with Acer Aspire Vista Help
Well, here's the story, I bought an Acer aspire T180 a few years back from Best Buy with Windows Vista installed. The only drive I received was a Vista Upgrade disc. Fast forward a few months computer slows down, etc so I thought I'd see any control and maybe cleaning the system some. Put my disk to upgrade looking for the way to do it. Make the mistake of installing the upgrade. now I have the upgrade on my computer and it always tells me that I have a version of windows that is not authentic. I tried to use my COA on upgrade drive, does not recognize and COST on the case of my Aspire, once again with the same result. I have my old version under windows.old, but can't seem to install it. I would just go back to my Vista OEM install. I have access to another computer, but it is an Apple and prefer if I didn't use this option unless it makes it easier. I guess what I'm asking, it's just to get back to my legal version on this computer, would like to keep files, but if can't, I would like to do a clean reinstall. Mine is out of warranty, so no help from Best Buy or Acer without paying their
You are welcome.
But try first to borrow a Microsoft Vista DVD of an acquantance of work for this restoration instead of a full recovery.
See you soon.
