  Byagaris,
  It depends on what program you are trying to copy and paste into.  You are able to select continuous, multiple lines, by using the Ctrl Key and clicking, or by highlighting the desired line.  For example, I held the Ctrl key and then, using the mouse, has highlighted several different phrases in the various paragraphs, and could then copy them.  This feature is available for several versions of windows.

  To link to a specific State or your catalyst application, you will need a way to encode the State of demand in the URL of the link.  Flex 'Deep Linking' is just the ticket - you need to bring your project into Flash Builder and write some code to make use.  Here are some resources to help you:

  • Very easy to use Deep Linking bind specifically to the States of specific application (that looks like what you want - as opposed to the coding of the information more complex in the link, such as the value selected in a combo box, the text in a search field, etc.).

  dfsafdf434, what you are looking for is a little more complicated.  Really browsers do not provide enough information to ensure you know if someone came to your page via the button previous specifically - but there are a few hacks that should do things most of the time.  Here's one of them...  Browsers often remember the values of form fields when the user navigates to the rear.  Thus, you could place an input field hidden in the HTML of your page content.  JavaScript allows you to set this field worth a specific when the page is done loading.  But first of all, your code read the field: If your value is already in the field, then the person most likely arrived via rear (or by typing just F5... which is the a 'false positive', I am aware of this approach).

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.
  • 'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems: Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

  I am wanting to link a specific text in a document to a specific location in another document.  I created anchors named in the document I want specific text to link to.  The code is shown below:

  I used the Point of the method of file with two open documents (vertical mosaic) at the point of the text (in the document mission statement.html) to the anchor named (in the Papers.html research paper).  Here is the code:

  The problem is that when I test this code in FireFox and IE, it opens to the PAGE (search Papers.html), but NOT at the EXACT LOCATION (the named anchor) #CHS314 on the page.

  I am wanting to and need to use the text on a single page to point to specific courses on another page.  It is not really do me any good to open the page, without going to a specific place on the page.

  Did I miss something in the procedure to accomplish this task?

Would need you a page requiring scroll so that the anchor go to the scroll position where the anchor was placed... ie. as previously mentioned "the named anchor should appear below the fold to see the effect."

  If the newly opened file is a PDF file, you must use a link of type 'Go to page view', not one action "open a file". Once you have set up the link, you can edit it and specify a named destination if you want to, as opposed to a page number and zoom.

  You can check the Advanced Interaction Panel? You have a note attached to the interactive objects in the simulation? If so, check the desired option Quiz, more specific preferences.

Any email I open that has a link, I get a similar error message with the name of a company or the link, I try to open. I have no idea how I got it or how to get rid of.   You ignored the most important detail... After selecting the action "Go to a page view" a floating window with a button "define the link."

  At this point you should navigate to the page you want to link to, adjust the zoom setting and display the exact location of the page you want to display when the user clicks on the link. Press the 'Set' button, and your link will point to this exact point of view, not only for the page in general.
