• Display text/fonts problem

  I just installed Firefox today (10.0.2) on a Windows 7 x 64 system, and all the text looks terrible in the browser. I have changed the settings of Windows ClearType and updated my graphics driver, neither of which fixed the issue.

  This problem doesn't happen in other browsers. For example, I took a quick screenshot of Firefox (in the middle) side by side with Chrome and IE9 (http://i.imgur.com/9Op9B.jpg). Even if it's just a JPEG image, you can always see the difference in the quality of the text.

• Text rendering problem ADE 2.0

  I am using ADE 1.7 with EPUB on my PC. Yesterday I updated to 2.0, but it seems to have some sort of a text display problem.

  The text looks pixelated when sidebar is open on the left (for example, the table of contents). When I close it and that the text occupies the entire window, then it is legible and perfect. I didn't even try to close, because in 1.7.2 I opened it all the time and accustomed to it.

  I have a text display problem in Camera Raw. Where there are labels of boxes that need to be checked, for example in the preferences or settings to be pasted to another file, the text is unreadable print.   The problem is not with the size of the screen, but with the "pixel density" (never forget, that the density of physical pixels of the monitor is indicated). Right-click on the desktop and select Properties (or go to control panel and select display). On the Control Panel, select Advanced; the general Panel contains the DPI setting. I guess that the parameter is now greater than 96 dpi.

  I created a thread on this problem, which must have been at least two years ago. The answer was, as 1. Adobe will solve the problem, 2. It is a problem only with the classic Windows style (under the appearance tab). I have not tested with the XP style, because I prefer the classic style; I'm cursed and live with this shit (my setting is 120dpi).

  BTW, this may be much worse than half-readable labels: buttons, fields, text can disappear completely (you may even not notice, that there should be other buttons and the Panel options)...

  Thanks for all tips - it turns out that I have put the bottom of div to 40% opacity (the background of the page would be subtly reflected)... and it was the origin of the problem. Advice to those who want to try setting the opacity... just say no...

• Minor text problem

  Hi, I made a text which I am hapy with my video. All text is black. On one of the text I did the text is surrounded by a white outline. I tried, but I can't work on how to remove the outline. Could someone please tell me how to do? I guess I must have accidentally clicked something when I did as an individual, but I can't work out what! Thanks :)

  In the Titler, select the text box and then choose a Style without a shot of it. Depending on the Style you choose, you may need to reset your policy.

• Transparent text caption font problem

  My transparency settings seem to be stuck with a sort of ongoing kerning. I use Comic without, 14pt, and he looks exactly like wait me in the .cp file, but when the publication, the text will appear smaller with low spacing between the letters. I'm in Captivate 3 and all the other text box styles work fine. Any ideas? Thank you, Joe

• Text display problems - glyphs instead of letters

  I have a new MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2015) has problems of text that appears on a regular basis.

  It displays as glyph lettering more highlight in Safari, but here is an example that I found within the iTunes Store.

  Please, back up all data before proceeding.

  Launch the application book fonts and validate all the fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in Help and support article for instructions. If the font book detects any problems, solve them.

  Start in safe mode rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.

  Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or the boot volume is a software RAID, you cannot start in safe mode. In this case, ask for instructions.

  If you still have problems, then in the font book menu bar, select

  You will be prompted to confirm and then enter your administrator login password.

  Also note that if you disable or remove built-in fonts, for example by using a third-party font manager, the system may become unstable.

  I want to change the font for my text in my custom buttonfield. the following is an excerpt from the paint - my custombuttonfield class method:

  When you run this code, I get a "Eception exception: Application does not; process is completed. Most of the time the screen is drawn, and then the error occurs. It sometimes occurs without painting the screen at all.

  To put this code inside an anonymous thread class, the screen is continuously repainting, which gives a "VM:THDRr = too_many_threads" on the console log. Finally the application crashes with an 'uncaught exception '.

  The code without the lines of code-fonts-all works fine.

  What I am doing wrong?

  Two things:

  First of all, don't instantiate not a font within this routine of painting. There is a performance problem. Instantiate the police elsewhere and simply refer to the current font to object.

  Second, affecting policies precipitated an invalidate(), where another call to object. This is a recursive call, and there is no way out of this loop of 'painting '. Each call to object then change the font, causing another call to pain(). In the business, we call this the dreaded 'endless loop '.

  So, take care of #1 and #2 will disappear.

  I use the above code to customTextfield, the problem here is, when it is used to display long text that does not move to the next line, only the first line is painted, the rest of the lines are missing

  Graphics.drawText draws text on a single line.  This example allows input of multi line.
