3D image coordinate axis

Hi all

want to put a system of coordinates in a 3D-Picture(not a Graph), to view a model 3D or geometry with axes.

I think, maybe put the model or direct geometry in a 3D chart is a way to realize, but have yet to try.

someone has an idea?

In the day at the beginning of the public beta of this tool, I used cones and cylinders to build a coordinate axis. The code is long gone now, but find how ammounted to a nice learning exercise.

Have fun

    Guy g ' Day,.

    I have a table 2D inlcuding values for a 3D-Graph Surface.

I want to get a 2D image where ist die axis z interpreted by color.

I tried my own, but could not get the good conversion between the z and a color.

I suggest I have likely values (range 30000-35000). No doubt LabView trying to interpretate the value directly as a color code.

The image itself has for good size (1280 * 100).

The upper graph shows the 3D-Graph, powered with the same information.

Any suggestions how to get the right image?

I use the getting started with NI 951 x Modules in the series C and LabVIEW tutorial and I can't seem to make it work. I followed step by step and when I clicked on run on the front, I got the following error. Error code: 70028

I didn't create a 3-axis coordinate space and tutorial for two calls. I tried to remove one axis and by using only two, but that did not work. My diagram looks the same as that of the example except that I seem to have only a SINGLE coordinated in my system (notice down left the wire connected to the position [] has only one box coordinated instead of two as in the example). I tried to leave and the recreation of the coordinate axis and the VI with the same result. Am I missing something? It seems that my coordinate system appears in table 1 x 0 instead of a table 1 x 3 or something?

I tried to restart the cRIO and start a whole new project, essentially from step 1 excluding the installation of the software on the cRIO. Please let me know if you have any advice or have had the same problems. Thank you

Would not be possible in the slideshow, you can try using the composition where you can fill out the image in the target window and choose the placement of the image but the width of 100% is not available in the compositions.

  • What is the value axis y axis in the time Panel

    Hello

I'm a newbie to AE and I came across a sign different time than usual yesterday. I don't know what means the coordinate axis y and how to pass this bizarre situation to the normal layer... I'd appreciate any help and suggestions!

This is the graph Editor. This is a very useful tool to control your animations.

To return to the regular view, you are used to, click this little graphic icon which is located immediately to the left of the indicator of the timeline at the top of your screen capture.

  • mirror an image map?

Hi, is it possible to mirror an image map?

    Hello

Don't worry the write in English, because although I can speak and read German, my written German is not as good as your English writing.

There is no function in dreamweaver that will reflect the image coordinates map for you. The only method I can think of doing 'automatically', is to write a javascript function that copies the coordinates of image map in a table, the table opposite, then rewrote the coordinates in reverse order.

Depending on how complex is your image, or how many times this function would be used, would decide if it's worth the time and effort in writing the javascript code required.

(If possible), the simplest solution is to reverse the coordinates manually.

  • XY plot

    Hi, (I use LV 8.2.1)

I want to set the limits of a graph (like an image) to the size of the image that is bounded to the front.

(the user can change the size of the image).

I expect the VI attached to this message to do.

but for some reason, there is a mismatch between the limits of the limits of the graphic image.

Change the size of the image, and then run the vi and see that the size of the graphic is greater then the size of the image.

I would also like to add photos to the curve in different positions with regard to the graphical grid.

So I would like to find the transformation between the position in the image coordinates of the chart.

(I can add an image to a certain position in pixels, but I don't know the position of the grid of the graphic, in pixels,

Maybe it will be enough to get the position of the origin?)

    Sincerely yours.

    Amitai Abramson.

You're not counting the X scale in your dimensions. It could be argued that the screw that draw the graph are not to mention, if the programmer must do instead of this, but it's basically where it is.

Is there a reason that you are using the XY image as opposed to a standard XY Chart? You can always place photos (front, rear or middle) on the standard XY graph.

  • PCA sign and singular values

I have read some pretty good information on PCA, so I grok in the MDGS, APC tries to reduce the number of attributes by projecting on the vectors 'feature '.  I am curious about the sign of the singular value.  It is my understanding that the magnitude is the 'distance' so far that the feature should be projected onto the characteristic vector.  I think, but I'm not positive, that the sign of the singular value is the direction along the axis of the attribute attribute must jump to this projection.

I searched a bit for this information, but cannot be verified.  Can someone comment?

The singular values are associated with swine vesicular disease from PORK and are always positive. The question is probably on the sign of the value of the function that is the projection on the new coordinate axis. The feature vectors represent a new coordinated basis. The bases have directions, so there is a sign associated with the projection. Note that the directions of the axes are somewhat arbitrary, and different solvers may differ in signs and nothing else. If the value of the characteristic is the projection of the point of origin on the new axis and can have a positive or negative sign and the extent of the projections can be used for comparisons. Projections of PCA are preserving distance, so you can compare the data points in the new space.

  • Problem reading video image from the camera IP Axis - confusion of variant data buffer.

    Hi there;

I am writing a VI for an Axis IP camera.  He went to work, but I need to extract individual video stream images so I can overlay text using the functions of text IMAQ overlay.

The thing is when I take a picture using the axis dll library (GetCurrentFrame), it returns a buffer size and a Variant representing the raster data.  The data is = 921 640 bytes representing a 40 byte header, and then the 640 x 480 x 3 raster data.  When I run the vi, I get a correct value for the size of the buffer (921 640) so I know it works.

What don't understand me, it's the video image is placed in a buffer of type variant.   I don't quite know how to extract the raster data of the data type of "buffer" which is a type variant.  My apologies, I'm a bit ignorant in how to handle the types of "Variant".

    Does anyone have a suggestion?

    This is the VI

    Hi Peter,.

Just to confirm, what IMAQdx version do you use?  You want to get the version 2010.3 since it is the latest version: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1641/lang/en

The next issue would be that the Ethernet cameras discover is not necessary and that it is only used for GigE Vision cameras. The VI was named before IP camera support has been added and the name is unfortunately confusing now. In any case, the discovery of cameras takes place in the background and is automatic. The VI list must list your camera. It may be worth trying just to see if the camera appears in first MAX. Note that the IP camera must be installed on your local subnet, so it can be discovered.

Regarding the examples, virtually none of the IMAQdx examples included in help-> find examples should work.

  • With the help of the mouse click to return the coordinates of the image.

Okay, so I tried to find a way to do it, and it seems very complicated for something that sounds really simple.

Anyway. I have a camera that updates an object image on the front panel using a while loop. I have another image object that is updated with a still image when you press the button "snap." Now what I want to do is to click on a point in the image that are broken and have the VI to return the coordinates of this pixel as part of coordinated image.

What I have so far is a structure of event in the while loop with the following to happen where "image object-> the mouse down:

Server reference (reference to the image object)-> property (last position of the mouse)-> output coordinated screen node.

I have two errors that don't make much sense to me (I have not worked with before event structures): ' event data node contains terminal unwired or bad "and"structure of the event one or several cases of event have no defined event. " This second shot seems odd because I don't actually want nothing to take if there is no click of a mouse. The first seems to refer to the box of the element on the left side of the structure of the event.

Above is my last attmpt to the trouble of sorting and as far as I can see it should work. whatever about the errors, I even take the right approach with that? I would have thought cordinates image would be quite common but seek advice here, it does not seem...

A bit puzzled here. Any help is very appreciated.

    Hello RoBoTzRaWsUm,

I took a glance at your VI, who took a correct approach to the data you are looking for.  As you structure to aid and the event, you should look for an event to occur.  When you use a property node, you try to read an attribute of a control.  However, in a Structure of the event, I think you should use a node to invoke.  Allows a node to invoke your read an event or write a method with the control class in LabVIEW.

    1. place down and call the node in the Palette of functions in "Programming"-> "Application Control".

2 wire your reference Image control to this

    3. click on the method, and then select 'get a last event. "

    4. right click on "Events that" and "create Constant.  Do the constant '1' in the table

    5. read the Cluster "Contact information" from the left side of the case of the event by clicking and "create indicator.

You will find a piece of code attached example.

  • is it possible to tell me how I can make program in labview that take black and with image pixels and give the coordinates of black or white pixels again to me.

    Hello everyone

is it possible to tell me how I can make program in labview that take black and with image pixels and give the coordinates of black or white pixels again to me.

It depends on the image and the module LabVIEW available to you. LabVIEW can open bitmap and png files and convert them into tables: if it's really a monochromatic (depth of 1 bit) you get a table 2D boolean, T for white, F for black. Just look at the index of the item to its details (don't forget that LabVIEW does not use the order of rows and columns, so you must transpose and reflect the table). If you have a 24 bit bitmap, the table will contain the color in hexadecimal synthesis (000000 for black, FFFFFF is white and so on); Yet once, you simply check if the element of the array correspond to your requirements and get its index.

With the vision that you module con open other pictures and perform advanced on them without convert them into tables. Anyway, you can just type the extension of your image using LabVIEW and see what you get.

Here is a code snippet to open a monochromatic image
