A separate update page is necessary?

Hello

Is it necessary to have a separate for the updates page when you have a condition to allow the update of records for only a specific set of users or roles?

I have a page that allows you to query, inserts, and deletes records.  Now if I want only specific users to be able to update existing records, it is possible to enable/disable the updates of the page, or should create a separate page that these uses have access to?

Thank you

The user, what version jdev you use?

If you use the security of the ADF, you can do this on one page. Just ensure the buttonx you use initial insert Update and delete with EL security.

  • Cannot add the signature with preview after updating pages 5.6.2

I've just updated Pages 5.6.2 on my Macbook Air from mid-2012, and now, open the doc in the preview, I can't drag my signature on my document.  I used this feature all the time before update and it worked perfectly.  Why they keep fixing things that don't need fixing?

Open documents in the overview pages are read-only. Preview will give you the illusion that you can apply the Tools menu: annotate: Signature, but you can not.

Export this document Pages in PDF format. Open this PDF in preview, and now you can apply and position your signature annotation as a layer on the PDF preview

  • I don't see a Web Update page on my site

I've updated a page on my site, but Firefox cannot display the new page Web I saw again the old version of the Web page. . I checked the coding, timestamp updated Web page and everything was going well. I quit Firefox, restarted and went on my site, but the old version of my Web page was still in the browser. Later, I had the thought to CLEAR ALL using the history tool to view recent history. I left that a function with all boxes checked except the last two (the boxes by default checked at vsn 37.0.2 CLEAR ANY tool) (deselected boxes were data and Web site offline preferences). Then I went back to the Web page and the version of the update page showed this time. Am I supposed to CLEAR EVERYTHING must periodically to see the last pages in Firefox?

I bought my new Dell computer about 1 month ago, Windows OS 8.1. They installed Firefox it at the store.

Everything seems to work fine, just bugged by the alert being there and do not understand why the home page says one thing and update page says another.

It is indicative of a problem, or a bear just with her up to FF auto-updates to date again?

    I appreciate your help!  :)) ... Sackettwife

Usually, you see this sort of thing as an attempt to scam or malware. Firefox updates only the help > about Firefox, and if it is up-to-date, there is nothing to worry about.

Firefox updated as I wanted. Now, each I reopen the application is going through the screen of loading/updating before the opening of Firefox. When she opens the Firefox update page loads. I emptied everything (cache, connections, history, etc.). It will not stop. I hesitated uninstalling and reinstalling because it isn't always re - import settings, bookmarks, etc.. Love this browser and all software you provide.

    Hello Paul,

You should look at this article on this specific issue and Preferences not savedarticle. It could be a problem of pref.js. It should give you all the information you need!

    If this does not work:

    1. Enter about: config in the address bar
    2. Click I'll be careful, I promise you if prompted
    3. In the filter field, type Startup
    4. Double click on startup.homepage_override_url
    5. Delete the text string, and then click OK
    6. Close Firefox and reopen the window to check that it worked.

    Hope this helps!

You have installed Service Pack 3?

Alternatively, download the standalone installer from here:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=24

Don't worry it is said that it is for HER and the developers. It's the same one you can download normally from the Windows Update site.

Windows Update blocks access if the user does not have the latest Service Pack installed.

  • Unable to access Windows Update page

I am running XP Service Pack 3 and were unable to access the Windows Update page for a few weeks now. I get an error message saying that "Internet Explorer can not locate the page". I tried several routes to access the update page, but they all fail. Analysis of virus and malware picked up nothing. I am running Internet Explorer Ver 8.

It turns out that the problem was software malicious. After the last post, more I tried to do at least I could do: Internet Explporer wouldn't start again, I could not copy files from one drive to the other and my backup software has been disabled. I have reinstalled Windows to solve problems. Scans of my files from backup using Quick Heal has revealed the presence of Trojan.Gen, who may have let in some other bad guys. I can now access the update site.
