  I use Indesign CS4 on mac.

  
  I want to apply some wee (no kerning or tracking, just spacing between words) to a few paragraphs.
  My book of Real World Indesign CS4 tells me that these shortcuts should work:
  1. to increase the spacing of the word without affecting the pitch press on - Option Comand / or Ctrl-Alt-/ which will add the basis of kerning increment (as defined by the value in the kerning in dialog units and increments of preferences) after each character space in the text range.
  2. hold down aswell shift key to increase above 5 times.

  3. to decrease the spacing of the word without affecting spacing on Comand + Option + DELETE or Ctrl-Alt-Backspace that will deduct the basic kerning increment (as defined by the value in the kerning in dialog units and increments of preferences) after each character space in the text range.

  4 2. Hold the aswell shift key to decrease the above 5 times.
  
  I have a Swedish keyboard shortcut, works of command-Option-Backspace to reduce floor space, but the increase keyboard shortcuts do not work for me.
  
  I tried to use the keyboard shortcuts to change the dialog box, but very few type commands are so I can't change the shortcut, even though I know that the keyboard shortcut to reduce no infact exist and work (but not listed).
  I looked under the default and the Swedish shortcut sets but these shortcuts are not listed.

  * All * existing shortcuts are listed in the keyboard shortcuts editor - but they are divided into separate categories, which may explain why you don't see one that you're Lookin '.

  Click on the button 'Show Set', and you will get a complete list of all menu "short-cut-able" possible options in your favorite text editor.   Usually, it is a sign that some third-party utilities entering your keystrokes (Shift key, key Alt/Option, etc.).

  You will need to enter manually. Styles cannot add text, only format.

  Automated bullets are only accessible to the general public for the start of a paragraph and cannot apply to the middle. You can use find/replace to add, possibly, but it doesn't look like me you have a model that is sufficiently well defined to do any sort of work of automation.

  Paragraph styles are simply not one of the types of library that supports Photoshop. Note the bottom of the library panel in Photoshop and Illustrator, you will see a different set of icons representing the types of items that you can add to the library from a document (and so who can be added in a document).

  For Photoshop, these are:

  Graphics, Style of character, layer Style, and foreground color.

  I am trying to figure if InDesign can allow us to the editor the dynamic table of contents. What we have is essentially the following:

  There is no good way to do it. We must either go to the ePub after export, or change the style, so there's a return between the chapter number and chapter title instead of a return. The second option will involve completely restyling, and get in there colon will be delicate.

• Script to change the language to all paragraph Styles?

  Y at - it a script out there that will change the language of all styles in a document? I often need to take English files US with several styles files and convert them to the English and French Canada. Find/replace language does well enough for occasional use but I would like to clean up the files I want for later use without going through each style and an era.

• Remove the standard keyboard shortcut

  When I try setting to delete in an arithmetic expression (-64dBVp-p), I select the word and press the shortcut

  ESC n (according to the documentation). A marker "no hyphenation" is displayed, but the word itself disappears. I'm doing something wrong?

  I found a solution or a workaround. David has solved the problem of the

  the Word disappears () but the Word still broken

  in the hyphen.

  Then I tried to change the hyphen to a true sign less, (SHIFT-CTRL-Q P)

  but that doesn't work either - the word broken after the minus sign.

  The problem disappeared after I did the Format > Document > text Options and deleted

  both hyphen and the sign on the ground less "allow line breaks after."
