  OK, here's my latest:

  I created a new profile, copy ALL the folders and files from my old profile into it. So I delete all the files except the last one pref.js. Start FF with the new profile, guess what, everything is back to what is supposed to be.

  1 restore previous Session and recently closed tabs both work now on the history tab.
  2. I can connect to all my accounts from Chase, without using IE Tab.
  3 file and release working again.

  So, it seems that all the old files pref.js were the culprits here.

  What buttons? You can restore a classic iPod via iTunes without using the buttons on the device. Restore it will not fix hardware problems.
