Access problem program.

I very often use a particular program.  Security shield is added to the icon on the task bar and I must say that I approve of this program every time that it runs.  I want to put this program on a list of approved programs, so I do not check this box, whenever I run it.  How can I do this? I am running Windows 7.

Is what program this?  The program indicates that it requires an elevation to run.  A 'white list' sort of defeated the purpose of UAC.

You can raise the issue with the producer of the show in question.  If the program does not really require administrator privileges, they might be able to fix in a future version.

A solution can be launch and high command prompt and let it open and then when you start the program in question, start from the already high command prompt.  Just respond to the UAC prompt once - when you launched the elevated command prompt.

    Hi wdriver,

It seems that for some unknown reason the authorization in the licensing folder is deleted. Please try to start one of the applications by right click and select run as administrator, it should solve the problem by doing this.

Please let us know if it helps.

    Kind regards

  • Virus problem? -Unable to access many programs, Windows Components, System Restore

I am reasonably confident that the issue I'm having is the direct result of a virus. The first sign was after recording in the other day, a message popped up that says that my copy of Windows is not valid. After re - validate, I am still not able to access many programs, System Restore, components - run Windows, Control Panel, Defender etc. I already ran several scans-MalwareBytes, Hijackthis, AVG, ZoneAlarm, SuperAnti-SpyWare, Avira, Emsisoft, etc.. Still nothing.

HijackThis is designed to run on 32-bit operating systems.  Your logbook indicates that you are running a 64-bit operating system.  Unfortunately, HijackThis is unable to produce a precise log for 64-bit systems.

You should not attempt any kind of correction after the HijackThis log information.

  • When you try to access some programs, Windows Vista will stop and then restart

There are some windows programs that I can't access because my computer says that windows has stopped working then he says looking for a solution and then he says: restart windows. I can't access my programs and features to remove some programs I think may be worth. I can't access MY computer optison either.

    Hi billdee,

    (1) since when are you facing this problem?

    (2) remember to make changes?

    (3) what happens when you try to uninstall the program?

Method 1: Run the fixit available in the links below and check if that makes a difference-Worth to try
Difficulty of broken desktop shortcuts and common system maintenance tasks

Note: FixIt would attempt to recover bad sectors on the hard disk, in the course of this process there are chances of DATA loss from that particular area.

Method 2: If a Protection of resources Windows (WRP) file is missing or is damaged, Windows may not behave as expected. Auditor of file system (CFS) scan to fix all of the corrupted system files. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link below:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

Follow step 1 in the link below,
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Important: n ' forget not to put the computer to a normal startup follow step 7 in the link

Method 4: check the logs in Event Viewer for more information on this problem

    Open event viewer

What are the information in event logs? (Event Viewer)

  • Not able to access another program with Windows Management Framework Core

Original title: what is Windows Management Framework Core, do I need?

I am not able to access another program because of the 33 sidebyside error.  The problem seems to relate to Microsoft.VC80.MFC according to the detailed event log message.  When I try to launch my accounting software, it indicates the activation context generation failed.  The only other thing that I have to go on is the date Management Framework Core has been installed and when I could access is no longer my other program.

I was able to locate a system preparation tool KB947821 to Microsoft Downloads. It is a solution for x 86, x 64 and other operating systems for downloading updates.  After I installed it I went to the Panel of control under programs, put my software disc in the drive, it said to fix it himself and it now works like a charm!  I strongly recommend to anyone with this problem after installing updates get this program.

  • No access to programs using Windows Vista Home Premium__

Over the few days my computer that is running Windows Vista Home Edition Premium does not open programs (either by shortcuts, either by going to the menu) - the message I receive is "Windows cannot access the specified path... You do not have the appropriate permmissions... "How to fix this problem? Thanks Martin

    Hi Martin,

    1. don't you make changes before the show?
2 are you able to access the programs in another user account?
    3. that you get this error message when tried to access all programs?

We recommend first to restore the security settings the default settings and try to access the programs. To do this, visit the following link, the download and run them Microsoft fix:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/313222

We recommend that you also cross check if the problem continues in a new user account.
    1. open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, then clicking on user accounts.
    2. click on manage another account.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. click on create a new account.
    4. type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.
    5. connect the new user account and try to access the programs.

Try the steps and post back with the results, so that we can help you further.

    Kind regards

  • Can not access my programs

I'm not very savvy computer. Somehow I pushed a button that makes all my program icons change the icon of Internet Explorer. Now, when I try to access the program, a window opens (the viewer downloads of Internet Explorer) and he asks me: ' what do you do with this program? Run, save, open? Any answer I give, it still doesn't let me access the program. This all started when I started to use an anti virus program called Avast. He asked me what program I wanted to use by default. I said Internet Explorer, and it changed all the Internet Explorer icons and started this mess. I do not know how to restore. Any ideas, anyone?

Good reading this article - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html and see if that's your problem. If so, the registry patches can help.

As they are registry patches, make a restore point before you start, if you can.

Or maybe first try to create a new user account if it will always be you allow, log-on via that. If this new account to work properly, then COPY your data (documents, photos, etc.) across and start using this account. Once you are satisfied that the new account is as desired, then consider deleting the old original account.

  • Creative support of Cloud for Photoshop asking for Validation of the series. Cannot access the program.

I bought a simple-app membership cloud creative for Photoshop and downloaded and installed, but whenever I try to open the application a window opens asking serial number validation. If I click on validate it says it can not connect to the internet, but my computer is connected. If I click on "Connect later" he charge for a brief moment and then brings back me to the series posting form. I can't enter the program of photoshop at all. Now, if I understand correctly, I should not need a serial number for him since he is a subscription, but I don't know why it's always asking me to validate when I did not. I tried to uninstall/reinstall the program, and even talked to several agents, but 3 days after I bought it, I still can't access the program. Please let me know what to do!

  • cannot access the programs seen in drive c or contraol black Desktop Panel, help?

My computer was working fine Thursday evening.  Friday morning, I saw that my office as usual sent an email to my work.  Shutting down my computer took a shower.   Booted back up and... Black desktop recycle bin showing only.  Went to start and no programs list.

However, the "c" drive is showing all my programs.   Control Panel shows all my programs.  Tried to clean and still a problem.  It seems to be a Trojan horse from what I've read online.  I don't know how but I managed to download a firefox browser and I use internet.  But I still want access to my programs and all my favorites.

    Can someone give a help?

    Thank you!
