Account problem HP Simplepass 2011

This is partly because of my own stupidity... in gasoline; That is the problem - I registered a few fingers on SimplePass on a Windows account, later, I created a separate user account and deleted the original account. Now when I try to use Simplepass on my new account, it says I've already enrolled fingers. Worse, it then disconnects me from my current account to try to connect to my original one but fails since I deleted it...

Since I already deleted the original windows account I could just open a session and remove my impressions, is there a manual way to an inscription ' a finger or delete data printing HP Simplepass?

This solution worked for me, should work for everyone.

Uninstall the drivers of the fingerprint from the Device Manager.

  • Go to Device Manager > pilot biometric > validity sensors > uninstall > check delete the driver software

Uninstall the HP Simplepass software

  • Go to control panel > uninstall a program > HP Simplepass

Restart the computer

GoTo edit biometric parameters

  • Option 1: Type "biometric settings" on the start menu
  • Option 2: Control Panel > hardware and sound > biometric devices

Trigger biometrics > APPLY

SET ON Biometrics > APPLY

Trigger biometrics > APPLY

SET ON Biometrics > APPLY

Install the drivers fingerprints

Install HP Simplepass

It works like a charm.

    This image is part of SimplePass 2011, which has been pre-loaded onto my PC. I've not got a fingerprint reader and do not need this software, but here the problem, this isn't a problem in the future.  I could not find a pointer to the SimplePass software. I'd rather not completely restore my PC, if possible. can someone give me a pointer to this software?

    I tried to update Hp simplepass 2011 and when I hit updates, it says successful download, but the file is not valid.  Is could someone please tell me what I can do?  Also, when I update to the latest internet explorer, the simplepass will no longer work.  Thanks for your help!

    Hi again. Until there is an appropriate update you must deal with passwords of fashion old way.

    The simplepass is savvy to Internet Explore so I wanted to say that if you cannot access accounts through simple use of other browsers and key user names and passwords.

    This is the best that can be done with it at the time.

  • Hotmail account problems

    Hello

    Apple Mail: I have 2 hotmail accounts. 1 works fine.

    The other not so much: I get a message to enter your password for this hotmaill account in Internet accounts. And whenever I try to type the password, it gives an error - Impossible to verify the account name or the password...

    I am able to connect to hotmail Web page with the same credentials - and it works very well.

    -as I said the other account to Hotmail works fine too.

    -J' also tried retyping the same account name and password in Apple Mail - and it stores data but I can't go online, either - It keeps failing.

    Question: any ideas how to solve this problem? The problem seems to be when I did the last update of El Capitan 10. 11 5.

    I can understand wanting to all email accounts work fine on my Mac well. As the application continues to apply to enter the password for Hotmail accounts, you might want to try this: If Mail on your Mac continues to request your password in particular, check the options on the bottom.

    Your email provider may reject your password for several reasons, including:

    • You do not use your current e-mail password. If you updated the password on another device, make sure you use the same password on this device.
    • Your email provider needs you to update or reset your password for security reasons. For example, if you have enabled Google two-step verification, your Gmail in Mail account now requires the appropriate passes app.
    • Your disabled email provider or suspension of your account. Your provider of e-mail for help.

    Another option that might help is to remove the account and then add it again. To remove:

    Delete an account

    When you delete a mail e-mail account, messages from the account are deleted and are no longer available on your Mac. The copies of the messages remain on the mail server account and are still available (from webmail, for example).

    Important: If you are not sure if you want to keep the messages are still on the mail server, move or copy them to a mailbox stored on your Mac (the mailbox appears in the section on my Mac in the mail sidebar) before deleting the account in Mail.

    1. Choose Mail > Preferences, and click accounts.

    2. Select an account, then click on the button Delete .

    Once you have removed the account, add it back:

    • To add another account, choose Mail > add an account, select an account type, and then enter your account information. Make sure that the Mail check box is selected for the account.

    HP Simple pass 2011, the latest version of the software "HP Simplepass", made by Authentec (so, NOT of Egistec or similar) does not work with Firefox 6.

    Looks like they are a few months behind with their updates.

  • Account problems

    I'm done with 3 itunes accounts that is causing problems.  One comes from an old email address that I no longer use.  I thought I had removed (or changed for a current address) but she appeared recently and and told me that I had to open a session to play other older titles that I bought.  The third is due to an error on my part.  I really need to get their handset.  As I don't have a newish Apple device, I can't get to it with Apple.  Is there anyway that I can merge accounts?

    You cannot merge accounts. Apple does not support that. If you have content, as you described, from the most ancient codes, you will need to maintain that to continue to use this content, or remove content and / download purchase with the Apple ID, you wish to continue using.

  • Facebook account problem

    When I try to add my Facebook account, I get an error message saying "an internal server error has occurred. Please try again ".

    I see you are trying to recover the password for your account Center ePrint. I can help with that.

    For starters, ePrint Center was converted into a new site called HP connected. If you click this link, click on Sign In at the top left and I forgot the password, and then allow you to reset your password. If it isn't, then we try another browser. Safari in particular has a lot of trouble with Flash for Firefox or Chrome should have any other questions. If you still have questions then reboot your PC and try again, or otherwise try to reset your password by using a different device.

    If after that you are unable to reset your password, then I would contact HP Cloud Services. You can do it by appellant 1-855-785-2777 between 08:00 and 10 EST from Monday to Friday and Saturday from 09:00 to 8 a.m. EDT.

  • Delteing user account problems

    I am trying to remove a user account from my main administrative account and will not delete. After clicking on the button Delete, it becomes inadmissible and I must continue to send error reports. Have I been hacked and not able to do anything whatsoever as an administrator? I made a new user account and it deleted to see if I could, but still I can't delete the user account I want to delete. I'm not trying to delete my user account, another account via Control Panel and user accounts.

    I don't know exactly what your problem is but here are some things that you might try...

    (1) this could be caused by a problem of file system corruption.  Try to run a "chkdsk" on your hard drive, the two verification options.  It is a step of good maintenance that must be done when even occasionally.  WARNING: on a system drive, it will be performed at the next startup, runs before Windows fully boots, cannot be interrupted and can take a few hours to complete.  (Do it when you won't need computer for awhile)

    (2) if it does not help, try to delete the user profile before you delete the user:
    Right click on "My Computer"-> properties-> advanced (tab)-> click on 'Settings' in the section "user profile".
    When it comes to the top (may take some time), select the user profile you want to remove, and then click the button 'delete '.  (You can check the 'Size' column because much more disk space will need to be deleted and could take a while).  After that, try to remove the user from the control panel.

    (3) sometimes, I find that the use of the work of the prompt command line better than doing it using the GUI...
    Open a command prompt window: (start-> Run-> "cmd")
    Enter the following command in the command prompt window:
    NET user smith/delete
    Where, of course, you replace 'smith' with the user you want to remove.

    (4) you can also try a "System Restore" at an earlier date, but if the problem is in the register, and has been around for a while, this might not be a great help.  After restoring, try to delete the new user.

    I think at least part of your answer.

    See:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP SimplePass 2012\Shortcuts\Shortcuts.xml

    • The .xml file directs the application control.
    • .Png (in this same folder) files are the standard icons.

    You need Admin control to change the SimplePass 2012\Shortcuts folder and the file (Shortcuts.xml).  You must create a backup, and a place course fall back plan in case where the program don't like dirty you in the file structure.  However, the .xml files are just text, and it comes to the door.

    • .xml edition: Left to itself, when you open the Shortcuts.xml file, the file opens in Internet Explorer.  If you have a good HTML editor, use it.
    • .xml edition:  There is the question of the "UniqueID".  If this is a problem (and blows on the overall program), depends on the structure of the ID, how the original ID were built (maybe), and now they are used in the code.  You could just get away with creating an alphanumeric combination of your choice, as long as you use the correct classification and the number of characters or numbers.
    • .xml edition: Pay attention to the spacing, as well between the lines and between the characters.  Even the simple code may fail when these rules are violated.  A loser 'dot' can destroy all of that.
    • editing .xml:
      Change the line:

    file:///$ (SYSDRIVE): / ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Accessories/WordPad.lnk

    to match the location (path) of your program "Outlook."

    • editing .xml:

    You don't have to change the first part: file:///$(SYSDRIVE):

    This means the C"" drive.  Unless you did something strange in the installation, OutLook live on your main drive, 'C '.  I do not use Outlook - it might be in / Program Files (x 86)

    • NOTE the "oblique".  Do not miss this...
    • Make sure you have an export (backup) of your Webcards!  You may end up reinstalling SimplePass 2012.
    • You don't need to move your custom icon if you use in the folder shortcuts.  Leave everything else you did as before.

    • Open SimplePass
    • go to "Applications".
    • assign the new application Outlook by drag - move the Application on the selected finger.
    • Export your Webcards!
