E-mail account of decoupling of lost phone blackBerry Smartphones

Hi everyone, I need your help. I recently lost my blackberry and I had connected my hotmail account to the phone. Is there a way I can disassociate it now? I myself have retired to the fact that theres nothing I can do on the card memory and messages, etc., but is it possible to link the hotmail account so that he who has the phone has no access to my e-mail account? Please help because it can become a serious security problem for me. The only thing I could think is changing the password for the hotmail account so the phone would not allow the verification of authentication. I don't know if it would work. Worst case I have to disable my hotmail account and I really want to do. All advice would be a great help.

Very much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Change your Hotmail password will work... DO IT NOW! Then worry about the rest.

You can connect to your Web of BIS carrier site and remove the e-mail account configuration. Or you can call your operator and ask them to do-, you must call them anyway to report the loss.

On your next BB, consider using a device lock password... that would protect your data against the one who picks up your BB where you lost.

Good luck!

  • My phone blackBerry Smartphones has a lock of business or something?

I bought a Blackberry 8830 we HAVE on ebay and they can't push the books of service to me because of some lock on the phone that a company put on? Is there a way THAT RIM can help me with this so I can use the Internet and e-mail and other applications on my phone?

Ouch... the pain of buying used. Here is a KB with some information for you:

KB05099 Steps to take before selling it, or after buying a used BlackBerry smartphone

Unfortunately, in your case, is that part of it... you need to remove the it policy which is latent on the device. Here are some procedures that may (or may not) work:

In all cases - wait that your BB will liquidate as fees and clean. This means that if you ever put anything on it, it will be lost.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

  • Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones wiped clean - all restored but NO E-MAIL

My Bold 9700 was wiped yesterday (long story on the children playing with a password protected BB!) In any case, I was able to do a full restore of the backup on my desk minimal info was lost HOWEVER since the wipe clean I have not been able to set up my email properly on the BB accounts.  I go to "manage email accounts" and I still see all accounts there.  I select one, enter my e-mail password for this account and click on 'check' and each time (for each account) I get the following message - "sorry, impossible to continue your session. Can someone help me?  I use this BB for work and I really need those on there email addresses before Monday AM.

    Thank you!

Before Monday AM?  What in ten minutes?  We are here for you!

From the browser on your phone, type http://mobile.blackberry.com .  Scroll to the bottom for Communications and electronic mail.  You can set up your email adddress (es) from there.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Personal e-mail on a company phone blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I'm very new to Blackberry and on the ecosystem and wondered if you could help me? I just got a Blackberry Enterprise and thought it would be useful to add my Gmail account. I discovered how to do this, but before I do I wanted to check - will these messages routed through our business systems and be readable by our IT Department? If so, is it possible to stop what is happening?

    Thanks in advance

  • Icon of lost of blackBerry Smartphones

I got 3 mail icons on my phone. 1 for my Hotmail account, 1 for my email to work based on the web and 1 which was a general message folder containing all.

I just did the last update and I lost the work email icon, even if messages are coming through, but enter the general folder.

How can I get this icon as a separate return for my work email (POP account)

I solved just myself. I discovered that the icon has been hidden (not by me - at least not intentionally!)

  • Photos of sending to other phones blackBerry Smartphones

I just want to check... it doesn't seem there is no option to send a photo of my blackberry curve to the PHONE number of another person. I can only send to an e-mail address, facebook or a Messenger contact. And then I see the "send using Bluetooth,' I want to explore at a later date...!

Can anyone confirm I can't send to a phone number or if I can, HOW?

by MMS, Yes. Most carriers offer this service.

In the United States, for example, TMobile, AT & T and Verizon do.

Sprint is the one who does not. Alltel has everything this week.

  • Links E-mail in plain text rather than HTML blackBerry Smartphones

I have a BB Curve 8310 and recently updated for the new OS 4.5 in an effort to try to receive emails with links buried in HTML, not plain text. I receive many emails with multiple links buried in the Organization and spend most of my time to scroll rather than read. This can be very frustrating when you try to read e-mail in pieces around all the code in the link. Any help? Or am I just screwed?

Will have to return the directory service, or remove and readd the accounts to get the HTML option.

Hello. My phone does not work. When I try to call, phone button does not work. Although if I went to contact folder and find the number I want to call again no reaction, I tried to call the menu button. No success. Please help me.

Have you tried a stack of old good draw:
    1. remove the battery while the phone is turned on
    2. wait a few seconds before inserting it again
    3. wait for the long end of the boot process (takes a few minutes usually)

This clears most of the software problems that occur on the BlackBerry from time to time. You can also use Quickpull, a free application that simulates a battery pull without removing the battery: http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=27660
A battery pull gets lost when using the applications memory and clears minor software errors that creep over time. The blackberry is running an operating system just like your PC is running windows and battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot / restart your computer.

  • Phone blackBerry Smartphones can access. Need to reset to factory default.

My 8330's "m" key no longer works, and I need to enter my password, so I can't access my phone. I have everything backed up via the desktop software, and now I want to do a reset of the phone, and then restore the settings so that I can make outgoing calls and access my phone book and e-mail.

Is there a way to make a phone hard reset (i.e. to factory default) so that I can access my phone again? Any help appreciated. I'm willing to try anything, because my phone is essentially useless for anything other than incoming calls at this stage.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

As full a long time that you have made a backup of your data, you can use this procedure to reset your BB to the default settings (at least for the currently installed operating system, that is).

Good luck and let us know!

  • Lost password blackBerry Smartphones

I am a new user of blackberry and 3 weeks after I had my "BOLD" I'm activating a new due to any weird problems with the first.  I try to activate my email blackberry on the new phone, and it won't take the password to verify and activate.  How can I recover my password?

    Thank you

    Hiya!
IM assuming that you are talking about a blackberry.net email account?
If so, your best option is to call your service provider, they will have the possibility to reset for you.

  • E-mail of the lack of change of blackBerry Smartphones

Hello.  I'm really stuck with a problem of e-mail.  I looked through these forums for awhile but have not been able to get a response.

I had an email address I've used for many years on my computer (sbcglobal.net), so, naturally, I used that e-mail address on my curve without any problem.  The other day, I decided to stop using this email address I've used for a long time and created a new email with another server (gmail.com).  So now, I want this new email address as my default email on my curve. I'm having the hardest time finding how to remove my current e-mail address on my curve and replace it with the new email address.

I tried to go back to the default Services and deliver the email, but I can't change anything.  My only option is the current sbcglobal.net email.  I also tried to go to e-mail configuration and connection to change my settings e-mail, but for some reason any that it does not accept my name of user and password.  I'm using the right combination of user name and password, but it says I have the wrong u/p.  grrrrrrrrrr.  Can someone help me?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

If you cannot connect to BIS (due to the problem of the credentials), then how the hell did you manage to configure GMail on your BB? Or have you yet to who? I suspect that you have not yet done so... see this demo:

You need to remove, inside BIS, the SBC E-mail configuration, then create the GMail one. If you already have credentials for the BIS, but do not remember them, there should be a link either on the interface for device or your media web interface (from a PC/browser) to at least send your password to your BB. If you can get this, you need to contact your operator because they manage your BIS account.

Good luck and let us know!

  • My phone blackBerry smartphones send a lot of emails without my knowledge

I only got my 8900 for a week now and I got my gmail for her. for the last two days, he sent emails to just a bunch of random numbers with the area usually as @txt.att.net GOLD @comcast.net GOLD @messaging.nextel.com etc. The only reason that I find is when my email sent me an email from "Message undeliverable". How can I stop this from happening? When I go to my gmail from my computer the same messages are there. I've never had this problem until I got my email with my phone. Any help out there?

I suspect these gmail are sent from your PC, you have a virus on the PC or a spammer has hacked into your gmail account.

Shipments of Gmail FOR your web portal of gmail now reconcile messages sent to your BlackBerry as sent items. This is a new feature of BlackBerry Internet Service introduced last month.

Your problem isn't with the BlackBerry, but with your gmail account.

    Good luck.
